On May 5th, 2024, at Fort Lauderdale International Airport, cops were called to a Southwest gate in reference to a disturbance. According to police reports, there was a group of ladies that wanted to pre-board the flight, but when the gate agent said they can't board yet, one of the ladies started causing a scene by cursing out the gate agent and saying she's going to write an email while also taking pictures, possibly in a way to intimidate the gate agent. At this point, the gate agent didn't want the woman to board the flight.
