On April 16th, 2023, around 11:00 p.m., cops received a call to Tampa International Airport in reference to a disturbance. A woman was in the waiting area of gate 24, pacing around the seating area, and acting erratic. Cops approached the female with caution to see if she needed medical attention, but wouldn't let the officers come close to her. According to police reports, passengers were also fearful of the woman since she was gripping a purple colored pen, so they feared for their safety. These are the events that unfolded.
