I'm 100b. >> I don't come here and I don't make assumptions. >> Do you really think this is all for me? >> Well, that's what Are you alleging you are battered domestically? Because you're indicating it, but you won't give me a specific statement. Did this happen today? Did this happen the other day? Are you willing to talk to me? >> Did you hear him? >> I can't hear him right now. I'm talking to you. >> He's saying I'm an alcoholic. I'm a piece of crap. I'm this and that. Mr. Drug Addict, >> don't listen to Don't listen to me. Show him all the drugs that he does. I don't do drugs. >> Okay. Listen to me. >> I do. I have a drink problem. Yes, I do. I went to the hospital yesterday. >> Okay. For intoxication. [snorts] >> No. >> Why? >> How come? >> Because I was sick for two days and my blood pressure was through the roof. I was sweating profusively. They I have the paperwork if you'd like to see it. I spent 4 hours there and my potassium level was really low. >> Don't listen to her. >> I can't I can't stand the way he lies about me. >> Let's Let's go in the other room. >> I don't There is no other room. >> That's what I just don't want you to have. >> Would you like to see if I pay for it? Are you >> No, I'm not distrusting. Ask me because what happened here? Cuz when they took the blood for me and they go like this and they're like, "Oh, what happened?" I'm like, >> "Well, apparently I I punched myself that looks like somebody punches yourself." >> Um, I'm not saying that, but what happened for you to receive it? >> What happened? >> He likes to go like I can't touch you. >> Oh, sorry. No, I'm sorry. >> He's fine. He's fine. No, I see the guns right there. So, just >> Oh, no. There's a lot. There's like hundreds [clears throat] >> in reference to it. Okay. Like I said, >> I don't I don't touch those. >> Like I said, >> hundreds. >> Um, so he grabs onto your arms. Did this happen today? Did it happen yesterday? >> Happens all the time. Did it happen today? >> It wasn't today. Today? No, today. He threw me. This is what happened today about an hour before he got here. >> What happened? Well, I see some redness to your back. But what happened? >> He just picked me up and grabbed me and threw me. Like that's what he does. He likes >> When did this happen? while he was on the phone with you guys. >> So, while he was on the phone with us, >> doesn't matter. I'm not I'm not doing that. >> Well, that's why >> cuz I mean, what do you mean to do like strip? Because there's a whole bunch more. >> No, that's if you're a whole bunch more. >> So, did this happen over here? Did it happen in your bedroom? >> Did that happen in the hallway? The these I don't know where all these happen. They always happen everywhere. >> Okay. So, there's a common practice of you're saying him grabbing on to you. >> Oh, when he grabbed this this he threw me against these. >> One second. my tables. >> Okay. Okay. And are do you need an ambulance? >> No. >> Do you want any medical services? >> Are you willing to fill out a complaint of domestic do you want him arrested for domestic battery? >> I just want my phone. >> Okay. >> I want my money. I want my phone. >> He [snorts] knows I won't do anything. That's why I'm one of those among those women. >> I'm trying to help you. That's why I'm not saying I want to help you and [snorts] I want to help you get separated for something like this. >> I just started a new job last week. I just want my money and I just want to get out of here. >> Cheryl, we can help you with that. But that's what Can I just got to ask a few other questions? Okay. >> Can I let my dog? >> Yeah, completely fine. Yeah, he can come in. So, he's a super nice inter reference to Cheryl. I just want to ask you one more time. Would you be willing to allow our evidence unit to come out here and take photos of the bruises or anything that you have? No. Are you willing to file a complaint of domestic battery? No. Okay. That's what And you said today while he was calling he grabbed on to you and >> you seen it already. >> Well, I'm asking you is that how it occurred? >> He He always does. >> And where did that? You said in the hallway that occurred >> and you hit some tables. >> He was walking towards the basement saying he was going to look for my phone. Where the hell is my phone? Just give me my phone. I said if you don't want to give me my phone, fine. You're not getting your keys. So I grabbed his keys and I started walking and then he threw me. >> Where at? >> Right there. >> Okay. >> So >> Okay. He threw you. I have his keys actually. I'm gonna put him in his room. I don't want to be part of >> So you aren't willing to fill out a complaint in me? >> Why? >> You aren't willing to sign complaints or anything like that. >> Okay. >> If I do I'm never going to see a penny. I I want my money. I just want >> So that's what I just got. >> I'm scared to >> I'm sorry that you're scared. That's all I'm trying to help you. So you're just trying to get a ride somewhere and you want to leave? >> I have nowhere to go. >> That's what you don't understand. I just want my money so I can get my own place and get the hell out of here. If >> he doesn't give me my money, I I can't go anywhere and my phone. Now I don't have my phone and I can't go to work without my phone because the phone I have to use my GPS to get >> cuz he said I'm just going to tell you the last thing he told me. I'm not saying I believe him. I got to take both people's accounts is that he went to bed around 7:30. That's the last he saw you on the phone and then he >> does it look like he was better around 7:30. >> He sits on the couch and eats like fat man. That's what he does. >> Okay. So, Cheryl, I just want to confirm um you aren't willing to fill out a complaint of domestic battery form in regards to the incident that happened today. And [clears throat] >> be honest, I don't want to do anything in front of you because you're making me feel really ugly in front of you right now. >> Okay. So, you aren't willing to fill out any I just want to confirm cuz I want to give you the options cuz if you want to sign a complaint domestic battery, I can do that. >> You're making me feel really disgusting. I don't want to do anything. >> Okay. You don't want any pictures of the bruises or markings on you? >> What am I supposed to do? drop naked in front of you so you could take all of them. Wait till you see all the rest of them. >> I didn't see all of them. I didn't say that. But you showed me a little redness on your back. >> Redness on there. Little redness. But listen, I saw the redness on the back. Then I saw some bruising on your arms. >> This is not bruis This is not some bruising. Do you see this? >> Yes, I see. >> Do you see that? >> This is not some bruising. This is not some bruising. This is brutal. It's evil. Okay, just hold tight. Okay, that's what I just got to talk to one of my partners real quick so quick I can get this figured out. >> I just need you to stand right here. Okay, >> just can I >> Well, that's what if you haven't found your phone, you say he doesn't have it. That's what >> I thought you were calling it. >> Okay. Um, you know, she's not willing to go with anything, but she did tell me that a couple hours ago. She's got a mark. He's claiming nothing happened. >> I mean, >> yeah. >> Probably talked to Sergeant wants to do. I'll probably tell you make a judgment call. >> Yeah. >> You just hang out with her. >> Where'd you rescue her from story? >> We're just trying to figure it out, Cheryl. I'm trying to take everyone into account and be nice to everyone. Okay, that's what Cheryl, real quick. So, I know it's kind of been back and forth just trying to get the whole account of everything that occurred. I know you're alleging that past batteries have occurred and you're the victim of abuse. Can you explain exactly what happened tonight? You advised got physical between you. >> Yeah, he he likes to do that. >> That happened tonight. >> And that's what you're saying. He threw you down over there. >> Yeah. >> Did at any point did you raise that black flashlight at him? >> That That's supposed to be funny. >> I'm asking >> cuz you know what he raises at me? Those things. >> Okay. You're >> So you think that's funny? I wouldn't touch those. >> Okay. That's what >> So a flashlight is supposed to be scary. So, you're scared of him pointing firearms at you? >> He's the one that taught me how to shoot. I shoot better than him. >> So, did he point a firearm at you tonight? >> No, he would never do that. >> He just likes to use his uh arms that are three times as high. >> So, he's never pointed a firearm at you? >> No. >> Okay. I thought you were allergic that he sounded scar. >> Okay. So, he's never used a firearm to threaten you? >> No. >> Just this size. >> Have you seen his arm? >> I'd be more scared of his arm than a gun. Yeah, he's a great guy. Hey, no worries. That's what So, you never raised up a flashlight at him or anything like that? >> I picked up the flashlight to look for my phone. >> Okay. Did you ever move is what I I'm sorry. No worries. >> That's what I said. I don't swear in front of him. >> I'm sorry. We hear a lot worse on a daily basis. >> I know, but it's weird like that. >> So, you did have the flashlight at one place. >> I picked it up. I didn't move like not like I'm going to hit him. >> Okay. >> I I've never hit him with anything. >> Okay. >> Slapped him. Nothing like that tonight. Does it look like I stacked him? >> Yeah, we just got to ask. >> I'm not. >> Does it look like he's been hurting? [clears throat] >> Does it look like he's been hurt? >> I don't touch him. The man's scary as >> Are you willing to have our uh CSI unit come out and take photos of your injuries? >> No. Okay. Do you want to fill out a complaint domestic violence form? Okay. He's alleging [clears throat] that you fell down in here today. Is that what happened or No. >> Were you thrown? I need to figure it out. how it got. >> Oh, this looks like this. >> So, you're alleging he grabbed you tonight and threw you down over there and he hit your back off there and you got some redness on your >> my redness. You call it redness, man. >> Did you not see the other bruises? >> I only saw the one that's right next to your straight. >> You want to see all of them? >> I don't want to see all of them, but I see some redness right there. >> I'm not making you show me. >> This is not funny. This is not >> called me doing this to myself. Okay. All right. Hold tight. >> I don't need anybody to take pictures, anything. I just want my phone. >> Hang out. Hang out with >> the male provided false statements about what had happened and accused her of being an alcoholic. >> So, I take these very seriously. I take each person's account completely thorough and through. Okay. So, basically, I took your account. You're alleging that in the past, you know, it has got physical against you. She's thrown batteries at you. She's caused you bruises on your arms. But these are all in the past and you have no visible bruises today. You do not want to file a complaint of domestic battery. She's alleging, you know, in the past that you grabbed on to her, that's why she has the bruises. I know you said she has alcoholism. You alleged at first it was just verbal and then it kind of turned to physical. She told me off the bat that, you know, you've been, like I said, she's not pressing charges against you, but we have visible evidence that um a battery was occurred. You said you did grab onto her. She's got some marks, but she is not being cooperative, and everything will be detailed in the report. Okay. Unfortunately, per the state of Illinois, someone's got injuries we have to make an error. We told you it was us, not her. If you're unhappy with that and want to still blame her, that's on you. >> Tighten all good now. That's what they should be. Proper fit. I can fit my fingers in there. That's what you good, Michael. >> I understand it's frustrating, but there's stuff we got. >> East 30 has 95. >> Not I'm liable. That's I got to search it. But that's why I have to search a person. Search all your pockets. Okay. >> [sighs] >> While officers were taking the male into custody, he intentionally threw himself to the ground, prompting officers to request an ambulance. >> Okay. I guess put it in his face. >> Yeah, we can. I'll >> So I just >> I did not press on him and he's going to hate me. I didn't do anything. >> I already told him that. >> I didn't press any charges on him. He's going to hate me. He just got a job. He's been laid off for 4 months. Now he's going to lose it because of me. I didn't call you guys. >> Cheryl, >> I'm having everything that you told me is going to be documented. Okay. That's what that you don't want to sign complaints, that you aren't willing to cooperate, and that you don't want any photos taken of your injuries. That's what I can only ask you, you know, to do those things. I, as a victim, we want to give you all those. I want him to go to jail. >> Well, that's why he has to. According to the Illinois state law, he has to go. >> If we have probable cause that a domestic battery occurred, we have to make the arrest. >> There's no domestic battery. He didn't do anything. He can't go to jail. He just got a job. He's been laid off. Now he's going to be gone for Yeah. Get him out of there because he can't go to jail. >> Well, that's what the decision's already been made. Okay. >> What am I supposed to do? >> What do you mean? What am I supposed to do? >> So that's what I can offer you social services. >> I don't have social services. I don't want social services. We both just start to do jobs. >> Well, that's what we haven't been able to find your phone. >> He doesn't have it. The only >> supposed to do anything. I >> I don't know. >> How am I supposed to know if he's okay? >> But that's what I I can't advise you that. But that's what he is being arrested for domestic battery. [laughter] >> I know you don't, but it's all going to be documented exactly that you don't want him to be arrested. Okay. [snorts] Which would you guys prefer? Front or on to the side? >> Not to the car. >> Okay. >> No. >> Which house we got to go to? >> Hey, we're done. You want to come out here? >> All right. We're going to stand you up and then we'll adjust your cuffs. Okay. Bring your one knee in. >> We need you to get your feet under you a little bit. Pick you up. Ready? >> All right. Ready? One, two, three. >> All right. Like all your hands. >> One in cuz we're going to have one following no matter what. >> Okay. use 25. Who's the sergeant on tonight? What unit number? Who's the E sergeant? What unit number? 10465 from east 25 pre FD is requesting one in the back lane.
