As events unfold and communication breaks down, the encounter becomes more difficult, requiring police involvement. >> He's seen me. He's got to get out of here. >> Okay. Take a breath. Take a breath. What What is going on? >> He's >> Where is he? >> I don't know. >> Like, where where are you even planning on going? Away. >> Away. Like where? How far? >> As far as I can get. >> Are you still like You said you were in walking distance. Where are you? Like where at? >> I was at the laundromat. >> Where are you going now? >> Did I escape the cops? [laughter] >> He's at the laundromat right now. >> He said he was. >> What is car does he drive? a blue Honda Civic. >> What is his name? >> Kaylee. He is transgender, so he was born biologically a female. >> Okay. >> I was hearing him on the phone. They said they're I don't think the subject actually fled. They were behind the mat. And as soon as I saw me, I think they fled. >> Right now, >> he what? >> I'm on the phone with his best friend. He also blocked her, too. I have text messages of him telling me that he was like, "I found a good bridge. Almost 100% death rate." I'm like, "Please stop. I'm sorry, but no, there's no other way out of this." I said, "Yes, there is." Mom, >> did Kayleie live here? >> Yeah. >> Is there any identifying information here? I I >> We have a piece of mail. >> Yeah, I'll look at that. >> All right. >> I have his mail right here. >> Okay. >> And then he he sent me this, which basically to me came off as like a suicide note. Yeah, he sent me a text message to he's sorry for everything. He has like p he has mental illness past before like we tried to call the ambulance on him before he got admitted for like a week I think it was >> okay so what here's a mailbag what h happened today what >> okay so I have to get a backstory cuz what happened yesterday so I don't like he was living here cuz after he got out of the mental hospital he he fell out with his dad basically >> okay >> and then he moved in here and you know he was taking his pills and everything and then he he was doing good. He got back into work and everything and then he stopped and you know our relationship got rocky. It got toxic a little bit you know and we were trying to work through things you know cooperate you know cuz this is a small house you know trying to fit another person in here. It was a little difficult but it's a process you know we were going through it cuz we care about him. We don't want him to be homeless and like and you know we were I thought we were doing good. But I really did. Like I knew we had our ups and downs, but I didn't know it's like this. And then he was talking about going to go move in with his mom. And then we were talking about it and everything. It would just cause arguments. And then we got in this argument. I cuz I was going to go get shower. I tried to brush off the situation cuz I'm just going to be like, "You know what? Whatever you do, you need to do is best for you. I'm done arguing over it." >> So I went to go get the shower and I was just like And he's like, "Well, I thought you would say more." And you know, we just got this big argument. He's like, "I don't think this is going to work." And I'm like, "What? What? What? What do you mean?" Like, you know, out of nowhere. and he just rushes up the stairs, grabs all his stuff, leaves, goes to his mom's house, and then just texting me that he regrets it and everything. And then >> is it his mom house today or yesterday? >> Uh, well, he went there last night, dropped his stuff off, and then he went and stayed the night at uh Katie's house, which is his best friend that I was on the phone with. >> Yes. >> And um >> Does Katie know anything? >> Yes, I've been Katie is the second person I went to because like that's his like comfort person. He goes to her for a lot of stuff. So, I wanted to see if she knew what was going on. And so like she's also like she was trying to help me find him >> and uh cuz today we we hung out and we talked and everything and he was like okay I think I want to move back in here because like at his at his mom's house it it just it wouldn't fit him there. I'm like okay you know just come back bring your stuff like nobody's mad at you. >> Yes. >> And he's just he's like you know my mom's going to be disappointed at me. I can't do her disappointment. Like I can't do this. I need to be punished for what I've done. Like I've ruined everything already. Everything's too late for me to fix. like I like my life is no longer like livable. Like I I don't know like all this stuff and it's just like I don't know. >> Do you do you know where dad lives? >> His dad's house is on his dad's name is Steven. I'm trying to see if I have it in my >> Do you know Steven's last name? >> Okay. I'll see if he's in the system. I'll go over there. >> Okay. >> If anyone does find him, can you please not tell him that I called? >> Of course. Yeah. >> Thank you. Cuz I don't He's going to hate me. He's not going to hate you. We just want to get him help. >> Yeah, Sierra, he's just >> We just want to get him help. >> All right, let me go check this stuff. Okay. >> Did you witness any of this? >> Yeah. Like I said, I got a text message. Well, I text him and told him, you know, he could come back here and that he was welcome. >> Yeah. >> And that's why I got the text message um that to tell her he was sorry for everything. Yeah. And then uh I text him and asked him where he was at and he said, "Why should I tell you? You'll just call the cops." >> Well, yeah. Worry about your safety. You're not >> Yeah. >> And he he I know I'm not I'm not 100% sure if he's prescribed with bipolar, but I know last time he went to the mental hospital. That's what they said that they thought he had. >> All right. Well, we'll look for him, see what See if we can find anything, and we'll keep you posted. What's going on? All right. You have any questions for me? >> We hear from him. Should we call you guys? >> Yes. >> All right. >> Immediately. Yes, >> we will. >> Sounds good. >> Thank you very much. >> All right. >> And hopefully we can find them. >> Okay. >> Y >> no problem. >> Hello, Sergeant Rising. Does uh anybody have like location services sharing with her? >> He started sharing them all with me the second he left his mom's. and he and his best friend like he blocked everybody. >> Yeah, I checked mine and he blocked me. >> We have like 360 with him and I have two groups with him and he's both of them. They're not No. >> When when was that shut off or turned off? What time? When was the last location that was showing? >> Last time he was at Telegraph Road was an hour ago. But he had came here after like on his way from there. >> A West and Telegraph. >> Yeah. He had said something about Cleveland, but I don't he doesn't have enough I don't even think he has enough gas for that or oil cuz his oil is about to go out. >> Is there like any Oh, like bridges or anything like that that were specific or >> he goes to this you know that one lane that one lane bridge. It's the green one. I can't I can't remember what it's called but >> not Gore. >> Yes. By Gore. Yes. Yes. That one. He goes there a lot. But I don't know >> I don't know if that's >> 364. Especially cuz it's night. >> Yeah, he's he he always gets scared to go down there at night. But >> can you call uh Erie County and have him check Dean Road Bridge? >> But I don't know if the type of mindset he's in if you know if he's not even scared at all. >> Yeah. No, that's >> I mean like the whole like we cuz we go down to Gore orphanage uh a few times. >> Anything like that CR will help them cuz you never know. >> When was last time you guys tried calling him? >> Uh last time >> when I was here? >> Yeah. >> Did it go to voicemail or did it ring? >> Oh, they were talking. We can try calling him again. >> Yeah, go and call him again, but don't let him know that we're here. >> Hello. >> Where are you? >> Did the cops come to your house? >> No. >> Okay. >> Where are you? >> Are you lying to me? >> No. >> Put that on your nephews. >> I can't do that. >> Okay. >> Nothing. Just tell me where you're at. I'll put it on my nephews. >> No, you're just saying that. >> No, I promise. Like, it's only me, Natalie, and my mom here. >> Yeah, Natalie's not allowed to do our jobs. >> What? >> Yeah, it's just her mom. Yeah, >> I'm near, but I'm not. >> Can you turn life 360 back on, please? For wise, so you can send the cops down to come get me. >> No, just so I know where you're at. >> I will come to your house if I see a cop. >> All right. >> So now they're going to me. >> No, they're not. >> Have somebody else call the station. We'll go down the street >> so you guys can relay info. >> Call the police department >> on a different on a different phone. >> No, >> to have them call another phone to the station to relay in 364. >> They got him back on the phone. He's coming back to the apartment. We're moving to call or he's going to call you. So, one of them called him back. He answered the phone. He's like, "Did the cops show up to my h your house?" And he was like, "No." So, she was asking to turn the uh life 360 back on. And he's like, "So you can tell the cops where I'm at?" >> So she was going to try to talk him into coming back to her house, but he was going to take off if they saw any cops around. So I had the I was asking the other person to call the station on their phone to kind of give us updates or anything like that while we moved our cars so they weren't parked in front of the apartment.
