On January 30th, 2025, watch what happens when a young woman speaks with deputies about ongoing issues involving someone from her past, and the conversation quickly turns serious. So, this is my niece. She's the one that's having all of the issues. She's never done this before, so I'm just here for support. Okay. Yeah. Um I have an ex that just keeps calling and harassing me, and I just want to I want to I want to make him leave me alone. Just leave me alone. Okay. So, she broke up with this kid over a year ago. So, he's constantly calling, texting. He has like some kind of app on his phone where he can call him like multiple times a Mhm. And so, she's blocked all the numbers, blocked the numbers, blocked the numbers, and then he finds another way to do it. We think that he maybe he might have a tracker on her truck. I don't know. Can you guys check that? Because he's like, "I know where you live now." Like, how do you know where she lives? Like, he's saying he's going to show up there. I I mean, it's kind of scary her. And he's like He just got a CPO. And he's So, it's like And he's saying We don't know. Um actually, do you guys want to come back here so it's a little bit quieter so Just so that way there's no distractions or anything. Sure. So, I guess we wouldn't really have necessarily a way to check. Um we we have a canine that is able to detect like electronics and stuff, but with it being a vehicle, there's so much so many different electronics in our vehicle that Um We know it's not an AirPod cuz she would get a thing. >> I was looking cuz I kept getting a thing for an AirTag for a while, but it wouldn't connect to it. But, I know you have to like click the AirTag in order for it to connect to your your iPhone from what I understand. I've never messed with it. But, ever since I left, it would pop up on my phone, but I didn't know if it was from him or not. But, at one point he said he had trackers in the garbage, and he was like, "Oh, I just don't want you to think I'm putting this on your truck." And then, a couple months later we broke up and then this is still going on and he says he knows where I live. He's I like left there a year ago and moved there within a month and a half. He would have no idea where I live. Just the repetitive making of social medias in order to stalk my social media accounts, text messaging, voicemails. Like one day on the 20th he called me like 30 times in a row and I declined them all and it any time I do answer is to tell me to leave me alone. Like we broke up a year ago. This is kind of ridiculous. And he just says like leave me alone. Stop. I don't want to be with you. It's been just stop and he just won't. >> And he says stuff about him dealing with addiction and stuff with his CPL and his mental state. I just don't feel [clears throat] safe with him knowing my location at all. Right. Okay. Has he like said, like besides saying you know he knows where you live but like has he been able to like give you like a location where you're at before? He says I don't know your exact look up the place. Quick key 40 security. Look at the voicemail to see his exact wording. Let me know or whatever. I was like that's unreasonable. So you guys broke up about a year ago? Yeah. It was a year ago. December of 2023. And then do you have your ID with you? And he like sends [snorts] my um he sends packages to like my work as well as sends me my boss's LinkedIn profile to say that I'm doing absurd things or like last night when he said that cuz I I made a repost on TikTok and he was like you want guys that are going to come and confess their love to you at your doorstep. I'm on my way and I'm like no that was not for you. That was not for you at all. Please do not show up. He was like no I know it was for me. I'm on my way. I'm like no you're no you're not. So I had a like a a little freak out but this is why it came to that. Yeah what what is his first name? And then are you able to I don't know if you've deleted any of them yet. Are you able to take screenshots of like the text messages and all the calls and all that? Well, there's like a a screen recording. Is that okay or does it need to be screenshot? That works. Might work. They're all him. It might work better if you Are you able to take screenshots of them? Yeah. Could you like call him and say, "Look, Yeah. you need to leave her alone." So, I Well, I was going to tell him Um actually, before you even She's spent the night at my house tonight. That's what I'm worried about. Like if you call him and then he's going to retaliate. I already know this cuz he retaliates every time. We He's called me and I said, "Look, you guys broke up. It's been a year, dude. Leave her alone, you know?" And he like his now ex-girlfriend is contacting me saying like telling me her experiences and stuff and it correlates really well to like what I went through and she is getting nervous herself and I just don't want to be in her position position where she's not doing anything about it. Right. I'm like I'm moving and everything and I want like if it continues on I'm going to have to change my number and I won't be able to have like social media and things. I just don't want to have to do that. Right. One question I do want to ask before I get to my other questions. At least right now at this point in time, are you kind of just wanting it documented or are you wanting to like press charges for like harassment or something like that? I told her. I was like, "The first thing is you've been dealing with this for a year. You need to have it documented. You need to tell the police so they know that this is going on." And then maybe they can tell him stop. Hopefully he will stop and then your next steps are the PPO, right? And or complain again and PPO. Like until because you don't she doesn't feel safe being at her own place. Right. So, I'll No matter No matter what, I'm going to be typing up the report for this for you specifically for the documentation. I would still suggest filing for a PPO even though you know this is this is the first time you know of it being documented. I would still at least file for the PPO. At least try and get the the process started. I can't promise you know that they'll I guess I don't know the word accept the PPO right now or like put it into place. Right. I'm going to process everything. But you know, with with you know, with all the document like screenshots, all that plus the report, they they might Right. put it into place. But so I'm definitely going to try to call him. I'm going to tell him you know, he needs to leave you alone because if it keeps happening and you call back Central 5415 in the area of North >> submitting charges for harassment. Um He specifically said that he's going to say like obscene things to my bosses. Mhm. Things to her. Like making me look very very bad. Some of the things he's going to say aren't very ethical. And I would never do. Are you able to tell me like specifically what he said he would tell your bosses? He would say that I would get high on the job. Just to confirm, you you told him to stop before, correct? I'm assuming I'm assuming like multiple times. Okay. >> Yes. We even called his mom and told his mom, could you please tell him to stop? Uh yes, I have text messages to his mother as well. I've even called her and was like, you it's over. Tell the boy. Mhm. Come on now. Like this is ridiculous. And she's just as delusional. Oh, he just thinks that she's the one. She's not. Mhm. You know, she's not. Are you able to get screenshots of you telling him to stop as well? >> all in the text messages. >> in the text messages as well as I can screenshot the other text messages to his mother. Okay. Yeah. Okay. So on the back is the report number. My handwriting's just crap. So it's a it's an SO for sheriff's office. A lot of people think it's a 50. Um but that's the report number and then all the screenshots, pretty much anything you feel like would be necessary or helpful just towards the documentation like you know you telling him to stop you know just the repeated phone calls text messages anything you feel like is related or needs to be documented. Has he made like any besides like you know telling you that he knows where you live and threatening to you know talk to your bosses and stuff like that. Ev- everything helps especially multiple people being able to see and kind of confirm I guess not only his state of mind but just how he acts you know him not stopping after being told and It's pretty wild like she used to put him on speaker phone and he would go crazy. She would be crying and I would just hang up. It's not easy. Just hang up. He can't hurt you just hang up and he'll call right back and I'll just hang up. I'm like you don't have to he doesn't have to let you feel like he's this is not this is totally inappropriate. No. Mhm. Um and when he was making like the phone calls and stuff was he like I guess yelling and like Yes he sounded irritable he sounded he sounded like drunk or under the influence of something. Just crazy the screaming and you don't understand >> Or he was with his ex-girlfriend and fell off a ladder and called me and told me to come help him cuz he fell off a ladder. So I told him to leave me alone and call his mother. Yeah. He's just relentless. It's been so long. It's been a year. Like Jesus get over it. Um how are those two bags? Um, but yeah, I would uh definitely at least start the process for a PPO at least. Try and file for it now. Um, now obviously you know if he continues, I'm I'm going to try to call him. If I can't, >> [clears throat] >> obviously I'm going to try to leave him a voicemail. If he calls you back again, um, yeah. Um, obviously tell him you know that you know you made a report like you need to stop. I just want to I I want to make it very clear that I want to be as peaceful as possible and that [clears throat] this is because of his actions, not mine. I've done everything I could to try to just leave it alone and it's been after a year. Right. And it it's to me even that's unacceptable. If it doesn't work out the first time and it obviously continues happening, call us back um so we can you know keep the documentation coming. Try again, you know, refile for the PPO. The way the court likes it, they like as much proof and documentation as possible. Um, and then in the future too like if he continues calling back, same thing just you know, take screenshots. That's kind of like a You Or you come back and file a So it it really depends. Like if let's say if I'm off work, like we have long weekends like having Friday, Saturday, Sunday off. If it were to happen like on a Friday, I wouldn't get back to work on a Monday and I wouldn't want that time in between you know for something to happen and so I would as much as I would rather take it myself just cuz I kind of know what's going on, it would be in your guys' best interest to just yeah, to come back and make another report so something's documented I guess like right away. >> Right away.
