Traffic ticket or something in it.</b> <b>This car.</b> <b>Does that look familiar?</b> <b>So a white Nissan Altima?</b> <b>I've been in a couple of cars like that.</b> <b>OK.</b> <b>All right.</b> <b>All right, so this incident happened</b> <b>while you were driving that car.</b> <b>Can you think of any incidents that you've had?</b> <b>I had no incidents in that car.</b> <b>Oh, OK.</b> <b>Like, no Nissans and nothing like that.</b> <b>I got stopped in different cars, but I can't remember that.</b> <b>Well, West Palm actually stopped you in that car</b> <b>15 minutes before this incident happened?</b> <b>Yeah.</b> <b>You got-- I think they just gave you a verbal warning,</b> <b>because remember the sticker?</b> <b>The sticker on the car?</b> <b>The sticker on the tag didn't match the tag.</b> <b>You remember that stuff?</b> <b>I don't recall.</b> <b>Oh, okay.</b> <b>All right, there's video of it, of you in the car being stopped</b> <b>by the police about Village and Palm Beach Lakes,</b> <b>right in that area.</b> <b>You called the owner of the car on the phone,</b> <b>and you let the officer talk to the owner of the car</b> <b>to discuss the sticker.</b> <b>She said, it's not my car.</b> <b>My sister, Courtney's car.</b> <b>Is that at all?</b> <b>You don't remember that night at all?</b> <b>All right.</b> <b>Well, an incident happened shortly after,</b> <b>and the person that got--</b> <b>somebody got shot, OK?</b> <b>They said you fought with him.</b> <b>He said I shot him?</b> <b>Um hmm</b> <b>No, that ain't accurate da.</b> <b>No fights or nothing with anybody?</b> <b>No, that ain't accurate.</b> <b>Can I see your hands?</b> <b>In addition to the victim, an eyewitness</b> <b>identified the man as the shooter.</b> <b>Ultimately, the man was charged with attempted first-degree</b> <b>murder with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm</b> <b>by a convicted felon.</b> <b>These-- the scars here, those--</b> <b>Yeah, I don't think--</b> <b>They've been there?</b> <b>That's from '06</b> <b>That's when I was in prison.</b> <b>So no recent injuries on your hands or anything?</b> <b>No. Not recently.</b> <b>Not knuckles?</b> <b>I mean, no scraps from fighting anybody, nothing like that.</b> <b>OK.</b> <b>All right.</b> <b>Well they've identified you.</b> <b>All right.</b> <b>They had it down to name, phone number, everything.</b> <b>So what I'm trying to do is to find out</b> <b>if they're just making this up or if you were involved</b> <b>in an incident and you had to defend yourself,</b> <b>was somebody's trying to rob ya?</b> <b>I mean, anything.</b> <b>Anything of that make any sense.</b> <b>I wanna call my lawyer about this</b> <b>cuz that aint</b> <b>I need to-- yeah, I need to talk to my lawyer about this.</b> <b>OK.</b> <b>All right.</b> <b>I got you.</b> <b>For the first arrest shown in this video,</b> <b>the man pleaded guilty to resisting an officer,</b> <b>possession of her__, and possession</b> <b>of mari___. In the shooting case,</b> <b>he pleaded guilty to a lesser charge,</b> <b>aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.</b> <b>The man received a combined sentence</b> <b>of five years in prison for both cases,</b> <b>with credit for 147 days already served. </b> <b>The man was released from prison </b> <b>in Novembe 2023,</b> <b>and was arrested again soon after.</b> <b>When he was pulled over </b> <b>for running a stop sign,</b> <b>he took off, nearly hitting</b> <b>an officer with his vehicle.</b> <b>He later pleaded guilty to fleeing the</b> <b>police and was</b> <b>sentenced to 366 days in prison.</b> <b>sentenced to 366 days in prison.</b> <b>The man remains behind bars, with a</b> <b>release date set for September 25, 2025.</b> <b>While Cop Cam Max isn't optimistic about</b> <b>what comes next, </b> <b>we can only hope no more</b> <b>innocent people are shot </b> <b>or killed because of him.</b> <b>Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe</b> <b>to Cop Cam Max.
