sometimes people have maybe just had a little bit too much to drink and it's early on in the evening and then the police have to take over and deal with drunkenness Rowdy Behavior antisocial behavior and and other more serious offenses that can happen so the floor sales staff are going to be working through the crowd looking out for people who are vulnerable who may be at risk offering them cned water to recover a little bit and carry on with their Night Out Flor sale staff of the girls you will often see walking around with a tray selling Jagger bombs and if they see somebody who is intoxicated or on the verge of becoming intoxicated they'll offer them a pint of water or get them a can of water quite often the sales staff are indeed a protective Factor they are the front line they're walking through the crowd and they can intervene active bystander training sexual harassment training they can spot the signs if they think someone is starting to look vulnerable if there's potentially other people in the bar that could take advantage of them the friends will point out like if they've had a bit too much they don't necessarily want to go home they just need a little bit of a break they need a little bit of water they need to rehydrate and we found that the girls had created a rapport with the customers so the customers were far more likely to listen to them when advised to drink water for their own safety if I was in a barn I know that they had all of this training I would feel a lot more comfortable knowing that if I was starting to get on the verge of being too drunk I could ask them for some water and they're also there to look after me they're branded with operation hydrates so then people know they're getting a safe sealed drink on that drink is also QR code the QR code directs them to other safety initiatives in the city such as the safety Hub such as Street friends and to to places that can get help if they do need something
