official under diplomatic immunity protections the embassy confirmed that officer Simpson is currently suspended with pay for 12 weeks pending an internal investigation however in a statement released on March 24th 2025 the embassy made it clear that if officer Simpson ever steps foot on their soil again he will face an automatic 30-year sentence for slapping a member of their royal family be sure
