On January 5th, 2025, a woman reportedly uncovered a disturbing secret about her husband through social media. What she discovered quickly turned a relationship dispute into a police investigation. >> Hey there. >> Hi. >> So, my husband is very um belligerent tonight. I have evidence. I don't know. He's been drinking >> and he's very mad at me and I'm afraid of him. Where's he at right now? >> I I think he's in the house somewhere. I think I can see >> anybody else in the house with him. >> No, just him. >> Just him. >> Okay. Where I think he is. >> Yeah. Yeah, you can. Where where do you think he's at? >> I think he's in my daughter's room, but no one knows here. Okay. Really? to the right. Yes, the bedroom to the right. >> Yes. >> Hey, Mr. Lundy. >> Yes. >> Hey, it's Officer Ever with the Brian Police Department. >> Hey, you going to talk to me? >> We just >> Yes. >> Hi, man. Hey, Mr. Lundy. Can you step out here and talk to me? >> Sure. >> Yes. What What's going on tonight? >> With what? >> Uh we we're called out here to to come check on you. >> I'm watching David Atenburgh. >> Okay. Nothing's happening tonight or anything between you and your wife or anything like that? >> She got upset with you about Snapchat, but no. >> Okay. >> Not that I'm aware of. No, ma'am. >> Okay. Do y'all have a like a verbal argument or anything like that? >> Not that I'm aware of. No. Okay. Nothing happened to make her want to call us to come out here or anything like that that you're aware of? >> We called a girl that she thought I was talking to that told me to pray about my relationship with my wife. And then she called her ex-husband who said, "Well, you did this months ago." And then she got mad at me. So, no. [music] >> Okay. >> Husband said, "You talked to me like months ago. Why are you doing this again?" [music] And I was like, "So, I came in here and sat and watched the show." >> Okay. Okay. So, she got upset about something about the Snapchat. Okay. >> I don't know. >> You separated yourself and came in here? >> Okay. Have you been drinking anything today? >> I have. Yes. >> Like a little bit, a lot, or >> Well, I mean, I'm talking to you. How much do you think I drank? I mean, come on. >> Everybody's tolerance is different, man. I agree. You know what I mean? I mean, you're at your house. I'm not I'm just trying to >> tight. It's not much, though. >> Nope. I got you. Nothing physical occurred. Nothing like that. >> Okay. >> This is silly. I can't believe she >> and I'm speaking on the other end too. Like she put her hands on you talk to her and no, we wouldn't do that to each other. So >> Okay, man. All right. >> I wouldn't be sitting here when you got here if there was a problem. >> I got you. Okay. Okay. Just called out here and trying to check on everything and see if >> you need to talk to me. I'm welcome to answer any questions. I I don't have a problem with that. >> Okay. >> I wouldn't be sitting in here if I thought there was a problem. No, ma'am. >> I got you. >> I was supposed to go back to Johnsboro today. I didn't. and I'm going to wait and go tomorrow that No. >> So, from what you're telling me, my >> she believed that I in some way was being unfaithful because I got a message about Snapchat. I gave her my phone all day. >> There's some message about Snapchat that came through. I don't have that app on my phone. Once that happened, she said, "Well, call this person that I think you've talked to." I called them on the phone. They told me to pray about it that I should talk to my wife. I said, "Okay, if you're going to do that, then call your ex-husband that you've talked to, [music] right?" >> She calls him, of course, he then says, "Well, you've done this within months. Why are you doing this again when you're calling me saying we're not together?" And then I came in here and shut the door and said, "I'm not doing this anymore." But this is absolutely ridiculous that you guys called out here. I'm sorry. >> Did anything physical take place? >> No, sir. >> Okay. Didn't break in a door to try to get to where she was at work, did you? >> No, sir. Okay. >> I mean, y'all saw I'm sitting here watching TV. >> I got you. >> There's no [music] argument or >> I mean, if y'all need anything else, I'll answer any questions you have or do anything that you feel is the best. But no, ma'am. Okay. >> Pain tight. We'll we'll figure it out. >> That's fine. Yes, ma'am. Where do you want me to be? >> I don't know if you want to stay right here. If you want to sit on the couch or whatever, >> whatever. Wherever you prefer. I'm >> This hallway's a little tight. You just want to come over and sit down. >> Yes, ma'am. >> If you just want to sit right there, that works for me, man. I appreciate you. >> Yes, sir. >> You have not had any conflict. This is crazy. >> Let's see. I don't I don't know till we get here. To >> be honest with you, she's probably drinking, which is why this is happening. But >> I got you. Think she's been drinking a little bit, too? She never does this unless she's upset or drinking. So, yes, probably. So, >> okay. >> I mean, this is a problem. This is >> this is my this is my business. >> I'm an attorney. Like, this is not right to do. >> I like my wife very much and this is messed up. >> Y'all got kids? >> No, ma'am. >> Y'all know >> she has six. I have two. But no, ma'am. Not together. >> I got you. This hurts my feelings very bad. >> All right. >> Where' the damage to the door come from? >> When? >> To the master bedroom door. >> The doors. I mean, there's so many doors damaged here from I don't know. >> I got you. >> Her ex-husband was here. The the frame to the door that goes into the garage. The frame always falls off. >> Yeah. >> I don't know. >> I got you. Well, mainly >> Does it look like we're having a problem? I mean, this is silly. >> It looks like y'all had some type of altercation today. >> Men? >> Huh? >> When? >> Sometime before we got called. >> I'm sitting here watching TV. This is >> Yeah. >> She asked me to call a woman that she thought I was talking to. I called that woman, put it on speaker phone. She told me to pray about it and talk to my wife so that we could stay together. I then said, "Fine, call your ex-husband who you've whatever has happened to that." He was like, "Look, you did this months ago. Why are you calling me?" And then I went in there, watched TV, and now you guys are here. I mean, this is crazy. >> I got you. >> I cannot believe this is happening. This was my whole entire business. And this is nuts. I will do whatever you guys want me to do. And if you guys decide that it's me, that fine. But I'm an attorney. I wouldn't do this kind of whatever you need to do. I will respect. I'm not going to in any way violate. I appreciate you guys coming. But I'm sitting there watching TV for goodness sakes. >> This is crazy. >> Well, if you'll hang tight right there, we're going to talk to your wife. Okay. >> I love him. I don't want to get him in trouble, but I'm afraid. So, this is from yesterday. >> And then this is from today. Um, >> can I show you something? >> Like I don't but like >> but I also >> I have all this bruising. >> So what how are you getting those? Like what is he? >> He that he threw a >> pack of Ritz crackers at me. >> This one right here. >> So tonight I called you guys because he pushed my head back and it sat my neck and I'm a nurse practitioner and I knew he could literally could have killed me. Where uh where were y'all at when this took place today? >> When it happened today, I was in my bed. I worked all day. >> Um >> I caught him lying about some texts and so he pushed my head back really hard and it >> and so I knew that that could literally kill me. >> Where where's the damage on the door that you were showing off your child? Right here. >> This is new. >> Okay. >> And also right here. This piece is that never this is new. >> Okay. >> Um >> so what what order did this stuff take place? Did it start with you on the bed or >> last night? Last night um he got really mad and that's when this stuff happened. >> Mhm. >> And thank you >> for the leg. Is that from today? >> That's from like two days ago I debated. >> So what about this right here? >> This is today. What did he do to make up? >> He grabbed me off the bed. I've never had him do this and told me he should kill me. >> Okay. >> So, I got afraid. I went to work. I came home. He was drunk. He's a recovered alcoholic and blah blah blah. So, I um approached him and he dragged me off the bed. Tonight I called you guys because he snapped my neck backwards and I thought I know >> when he did that like how did he >> um he grabbed my head and just >> so he like grabbed it and then >> my hair and Yes. >> backwards >> and that scared me. >> Okay. Okay. Do you know about like what time this took place? Give or take? >> Maybe an hour ago. >> Okay. So not too long. >> Not long. Yeah. >> Okay. And the little the red injury that I can see right there. Did he like grab you or how how did that >> um from >> He's dragged me off the bed several times which again is new. He dragged me off the bed and scrubbed me on the carpet. I think I have I think I have some more um >> I don't want him to get in trouble but I'm afraid. So I think um >> I mean has this been happening a lot or >> No, it's pretty recent. He has issues with his kids in Jonesboro, so he's really torn. >> Um It's been a long time since I've been out here. It's I think it was last year. >> Yeah. >> But I think it was more just to check on him was the situation. >> That was the first time I ever saw him drink. >> He's been in recovery for like 10 years and he got really drunk and I didn't I've never seen him drunk so I was afraid. >> So when you were on the bed, were you just like minding your own business watching TV? What was going on when he came in there? >> Yes. >> Okay. So he came in there, pushed your head back on the bed, >> and I felt my neck snapping. That really scared me. >> And he had drugged you off the bed. Is that what you said? >> He did. >> Or that was >> yesterday and the night before. And I just really tonight when he pushed my head back, it scared me because >> in that point, how did he get out of the room and you closed the door where this damage is? >> It's broken. >> Oh, it won't secure. >> No, not anymore. >> I don't think this one will either. I'm But I I couldn't. >> So, is this damage though from today is what I'm asking? Okay. So, what was occurring? Were you just trying to stay in the room? >> I came home and I questioned him about some text to a girl and um he was passed out drunk when I came home. >> I don't know if that was the vodka bottles, but like he told me I'm a [ __ ] bit I'm a [ __ ] all the liar, cheater, all these things. And he grabbed my head and pushed it back and my neck snapped >> and that scared me. >> Okay. All right. So he wouldn't be done. >> When you were in this room though, were you trying to stay away from him? >> Yes, absolutely. >> And I'm assuming he was trying to push his way in there for sure. >> Okay. How did you get separated when you called us? How did then he just he he said finally, I don't care what you think. I'm going to go in here and lay down. And but I knew how belligerent he had been, so I was afraid. Okay. >> It was going to happen again. So I went outside and I called you guys cuz I truly am afraid. >> Okay. >> And so Vinnie has been physical 2 days prior to this too. Yes. And today and yes. >> Okay. And you said this is something new that started. >> It's new. He wasn't like that. I can show you bruises on my legs. I don't know if you need to see that, but it is new for us. >> Okay. Okay. And for the most part, he's putting his hands on you. And I know you said the bruise down here is he threw a pack of crackers or something crackers that I have. >> Okay. It's not funny, but >> okay for him. >> Okay. >> I love him. I think he's coming. >> But you are >> I don't want to get him in trouble, but I'm afraid. >> Okay. You're in fear for your safety at this house or not. >> Okay. Well, let me touch base with Officer Charles and see where we're at. Um, no, none of the kids are here though. >> No, no kids. >> Okay, hang tight. Okay. I mean, so she's obviously got marks on her. There's only one that looks freshly red, the one up here. The others are a little bruised already. >> Mhm. >> Got that. I've got damage to a door. He don't have any injuries from what I can see on him. So, she just told me she's in fear for her safety tonight. Let's go. >> I mean, will you stand up for me? >> Yes. >> Go ahead and turn around. Chance while you're at my shoes on. >> Yes, sir. >> I'll let you grab them here in just a second. Okay. >> Where's your shoes? >> Right there. Yes, sir. >> What kind of shoes are they? >> I'm going to pull this [clears throat] just so I don't pinch you. Okay. Okay. Is that all right? There's your thumb. >> Uh-oh. Little bark in here. This is >> you slip them on or do you want them untied? Can't put them on. >> Okay, I'm going to help you out. All right. >> How am I getting arrested? >> I've got marks. I've got damage on the door. So, that's >> The door's been broken for 2 years. >> She's got She's got injuries on her. She's got marks on her. Okay. >> Gosh. I cannot believe this is unbelievable. >> I just got to go with >> my people need to be arrested. >> What did I do? >> You didn't ask me for anything on me. Thank I mean but [clears throat] >> I did ask you several times what happened today. >> You didn't ask me if there's any marks on me or something else. >> I looked at your arms and hands. >> Okay. Where do I need to go? >> Let's go out this way. >> All right. Thank you. I cannot [clears throat] >> I can't even walk in these, ma'am. Can I try to pull the >> Here, I got you. I'll help you out. >> This is unbelievable. >> Good on that one. >> Yes. Trust me, I'll be happy to get out of here and get the horse. This is crazy. >> There you go. I cannot believe somebody would do this to me about my job and >> we're going to go to this closest vehicle right here. >> Okay. Thank you, ma'am. >> You got anything in your pockets? Anything like that? I'm just going to patch you down real quick. Okay. >> Why does she not need to be in the same situation? So, probably I'm sitting there watching to you. >> I I asked you several times what occurred today and you said >> nothing happened. That's what I'm I Nothing happened. >> Hear me out. I have to go with the evidence presented to me. She told me what happened. She's got markings that match that and that's what I got to go by. Okay. >> How did I hurt this woman? I love my wife. >> I understand that. And I will put that all in the report. Everything that you told me, it'll be in the report as well. Okay. >> I'm going buckle you. Do >> you need a phone or your wallet or anything like that? >> Well, I left it with her all day because she thought that I had done something wrong. So, I left my phone with her all day. She came home and said there was some message on it that she didn't like and now I'm getting arrested. So, no, I guess not. I don't care if she has it. >> Okay. There's no You don't need your ID, wallet, anything like that with you. >> Okay. She'll go in there and get the pictures of her injuries, where they are based at. >> Yeah. >> I'll get all the forms. >> I'll have her do a written witness statement. >> I'll do a little screen, all that. I'll be in there. >> Okay. >> Hey. >> Um, so I'm going to take him for domestic third. Um, I do have to get photos of the your injuries if that's okay. >> After I do that, then Officer Childs is going to come in and he just has to read you off some documents.
