On December 31st, 2025, a husband called 911 on his terrified wife, but the plan quickly backfired. As police investigated, his story began falling apart, revealing a much darker situation. >> How's it going? >> Hi, we're police, >> Rosie. So, tell you a full story right up front. My daughter and I were playing Lego Star Wars and my fiance was telling me about like the Erica Kirk stuff and then apparently I was getting teachery and she didn't like that so she started yelling at me and then uh I was like okay. So like I was like >> your fiance in here? >> Yeah, she's in the bedroom crying with her kids right now. >> You mind if I talk to her? >> Of course. Oh here's the past that >> 8 minutes. You're acting different on camera. >> There's nothing going on. >> But she started screaming at me and then I I approached her while she was in the rocking chair and I I I I stood her up not too aggressively and I was going to like hug her and she punched me in the face and then things got pretty aggressive from there. >> Okay. What happened to your neck? Um, she punched me and was scratching at me. Um, she got up a couple time. She got up a couple times and was trying to >> trying to scratch me, attack me. What? She thought I was trying to attack her when I was standing her up. It's just up here. There's a little bit of red on my chest and stuff, >> but not too much. Um, >> look at me. >> But I was like mostly trying to calm our kids down cuz after the main altercation. Um, where we were trying to push and shove each other. I'm not going to lie. I was pushing and shoving her down too after she punched me. I was trying to get her on the ground. Um, trying to get everything done. We both lost our glasses. And then our kids were crying. So I had them in our bedroom and I was getting dressed and then they were begging me not to leave. So I was not going to leave. And while I was holding them, she came in and shoved me while I was holding them into the, you know, dresser area. So, I got some scratches on my back from falling into the >> Is there anything else on your back? >> There's just one scratch or two scratches on my back. Never mind. >> Okay. >> But, uh, and then after that, >> I lost like all my adrenaline at that moment and I was like, this is crazy. Um, and then so I picked up my phone and started filming. I was like, "This has to stop." >> Um, >> so this started, you guys are playing Lego Star Wars. >> My my daughter and I were playing Lego Star. Yeah. And she was telling me about um the Erica Kirk stuff. Her Charlie Kirk stuff >> and or can someone uh so I was talking about like the I was just talking with her and she was didn't like how I was being teachery in my voice. >> Okay. So, she started getting irritated with me and I was like, "All right, I'm sorry. I'll just like not talk and then she was like steel manning that position of like, oh, now I'll just it's just going to be me not talking." >> So then her started getting like kind of irritated me, sniffy and yelling at me. And then I after eventually I was like, "Haley, like stop." So I went over there and I grabbed her like under by her like right here and I like stood up out of the the rocking chair and she swung at me and that's when started like the initial like shoving back and forth something. >> So she swung at you, hit you in the face. >> Yeah. Knocked my glasses off. >> Close fist. Open fist. >> It felt like I think it was closed fist. >> Close fist. And then what happened? >> And then I I shoved her to the ground >> uh to stop her chair. Huh? >> On the chair or ground? No, we we were turned at this part. It we were between the Christmas tree and uh the counter >> and I shoved her to the ground and then she stood up and she had started attacking me again. >> Um both hands coming at me and I think that's when the scratches occurred but I'm not too sure when they came. Okay. >> Um when I don't know if they came when she was shoving me in the closet when I had the fridge in my hands or when there was up here. No, that's that. >> And how did the scratch on your back happen again? >> When I was in the closet, I was holding both the kids cuz they were both crying after like that initial. So, I was holding them. They didn't want me to leave. Um, so I was holding them trying to like be there with them and she came and then she shoved me really hard into the into the corner of the closet and there's like wire shelving. So, like I just rushed up against like one of those little nubs. >> Okay. So then the kids together. >> Yeah. >> So then I I put them down and like I said, I I pushed her off to the side and I went and grabbed my phone. >> So just make sure you >> whatever. Went to stand her up. What do you mean sit her up? She punched you close to the right or left hand. >> See, there you go. Being physical with you. >> It was her right. Right. >> So, close response. Then you push her down. >> Yeah. >> And then she gets back [laughter] up and goes for you again. And then was she trying to choke you or was she trying to push you away? >> Just both hands on me and she was swatting at me and stuff. Same thing. I I started swinging back at her and pushing her back. She's saying that he's wrangled her and there's clear marks on her neck. She said she said she didn't hit him, but that's because she picked he grabbed her by the rose and lifted her up and say she hit him like she pushed she he pushed her into the closet and held like put his hand around her neck voice. She said that initially for about a minute and then again she was saying that same story but he did that to him and he's got marks on his back. He's got marks on his neck on his chest as well. So >> you don't talk to her. Here's the Yeah, >> and those are that's red marks there. >> So, it's right next to her ear right there. >> So, you can see that. >> Let me go talk to her. >> Okay. >> How's it going, sir? >> I heard you got some marks on you. Is that right? >> Yeah. I got there and I got some on my back too. >> On your back? Is it just there in your back? >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Okay. >> Yeah. Here. Uh what is the uh this mark on your back from? >> Um when I was in the closet, my back >> still looking. >> I was holding both our children and she came in and shoved me and I we had like those wire shelves in the closet. >> Okay. >> So like my back scratched up against one of them. >> And how'd that happen? Um, that one happened like while the adrenaline was going. I think she was coming at me and at the face. I don't know if it was when she scratched me or punched me or was like trying to grab me, but it was like in there. We were we were pushing each other back for a second. I was trying to restrain her the whole at first in the whole situation and hands were going everywhere. >> What is uh what's this? >> I have tennis elbow. >> Okay. >> So, it's just >> You mind just taking off real quick? Just want to make sure. >> Okay, you can put back on. >> Uh, I don't know if the other officer asked. Um, obviously you got the recording here. Uh, I'm sure you showed them. Uh, any reason you didn't call us and took the video? >> Well, at first the the adrenaline was just so high and this is this has never happened between us before. We've argued not like, you know, like this is no. And uh, so kind of for my own safety, my own protection. Um, I know that everyone kind of sides with the woman. And in this situation, I I got swung at first when I was trying to diffuse the situation and I was getting screamed at when I was completely calm. And after a while, I just felt like after I got shoved when I was holding both of our kids, I just kind of felt like for my own protection and safety, I just need to film. Um even if cuz she was screaming for the cops to come, so I figured you guys were going to show up. And uh so I spent the time trying to look for her glasses so she would have them when you guys got here. >> Sure. Um, kind of like what you told the or I know you already talked to those guys. You mind just telling us uh what happened, how it all started. >> Yeah. So, my daughter and I were playing League of Star Wars on the couch. >> Mhm. >> Um, she was sitting on the rocking chair. Um, she had just eaten was eating and watching uh or painted. I don't know what she was on, but she was talking about Candace Owen some stuff like that. And so I was like kind of talking back and forth with her about it, but she didn't like my she didn't like how I was being like teetering to your daughter, >> like a no no to her, >> like a knowit all about stuff. >> Um, and uh, so she kind of got a little irritated by like me being tea tree >> and so then she started like yelling at me a little bit and I was like like this isn't about like why is it getting so elevated? And so I started challenging her. >> Tell me about what the the podcast or whatever you're talking about. >> No, me being teachery with my like >> teacher. What do you mean? >> Like when she brings up a subject, I kind of like >> say things in a word a way apparently that are teachery. Like she was like talking about Candace Owens and Alex Jones and I was saying uh >> I'm trying to remember. I'm sorry. >> You're trying to be educational to her. kind of like not educational but like kind of walk her down a thinking path like my thinking path like where I'm like this is where I think of my position and then she's like I don't like when you do that I'm like you guys disagree politically is >> no no no not at all we actually align politically. Um, I was just telling her like my thought process and she doesn't like when I do that because I I don't know when we talk I kind of just walk her through my thought processes. >> That's just how I talk like in a debate or a conversation. And so I was like, "All right, my bad. I just want to talk." >> And she was like, "No, it's going to lead to me not talking." So then it was like >> it got elevated like sniffy back and forth. I was like, "Why is it getting like this?" So, I went over to the rocking chair and I like stood her up so I to like hug her and be like, "This is ridiculous. Like, calm down. We're good." And when I stood her up, she punched me. And then I I I wrestled to her ground immediately. So, I'm going to refuse the situation. And like I just I was like, "What the hell?" So then like hands got loose and we're slinging and I was like trying to swing her like keep them uh spread out and then we spread back stood back up and I I slapped her again. I slapped her not again on our way to the ground again. Um cuz I thought you Oh, I barely put more on that. Like so you you stand her back up, right? >> No. So >> cuz you you had her down, right? She said you didn't want her to hit you. >> Yeah, we were on the ground >> and then you stand back up, right? I get up and I'm off of her, but she stands up pretty much with me. >> Mhm. >> And she's like at me and so I'm like on her way to the ground. I do slap her and we go back to the ground. And that's when I realized like, oh no. >> Like oh no. >> But you your slap is more of uh are you saying that you when you went to slap it was more of like I'm going to push put you back down because you're getting back up in my face and >> it was like a face connect and we're both going to the ground. >> Okay. It was like everything was diffused. And so when I when we hit the ground that time, I immediately knew like it was too far. >> Okay. >> And so I got up and went to the like the closet, I was like, I'm just going to leave. I'm we're going to like separate. We're going to diffuse the whole energy right now. Like that was the farthest thing that ever been taken. We're going to take the night, you know? And uh so I was in the closet getting dressed and my daughter was freaking out. She didn't want me to leave. So I was holding her. My son came in, he was crying. So, I was standing up holding them and then that's when she came in around the corner and she had shoved me in the corner of the closet. >> Yeah. >> When did you get this? >> I think it was in the first altercation. Okay. >> Cuz after the closet there wasn't any altercation. >> Mhm. >> So, she pushed you in the closet and then what happened? >> And then I set our kids down and I had pushed her back. >> Okay. >> Into the corner of the closet. And I had at that point I had I had pushed her again like out of the closet under the bed and I had just left the room and that's when I grabbed my phone and started filming. >> And then this is this is >> right after that >> where I was like trying to get away from didn't do my best to be honest. >> No, I'm trying to find your glasses for you. >> Oh my god. After you hit them off, I [ __ ] You LITERALLY [ __ ] GLIMPSEED ME THREE TIMES. >> I didn't punch you. I never punched you. You showed me. YOU LIFTED ME UP ON MY [ __ ] NECK. YOU THREW ME ON THE GROUND TWICE. The [ __ ] >> I pushed you against the wall after you pushed me. Your children. >> [ __ ] you. Congratulations. Congratulations. >> On what? >> I didn't try to There's nothing I'm trying to win here. This is A VERY >> YOU ARE SO [ __ ] UP. YOU ARE SO [ __ ] UP. >> I'M SO [ __ ] UP in my head. >> I didn't do anything. Sometimes you just got to go. Get out of there, man. >> I know. I should have been This is my kid. >> Sometimes like we get to the point in the fight where nobody's going to agree that we're right. >> Yeah. >> Just go take a walk. Go get a hotel. Go get our friends, neighbors, cousins, whatever. Get out of here. >> So it doesn't get to this point where we're here. >> Yeah, I know. And I was I was going to go to my home. >> People can argue. Look, arguing is okay. When we get to where it's physical, that makes it a different story, right? You got to make sure we don't get that far. >> Absolutely. I agree. >> Now, at any point, did you um She said you pushed her back after she pushed you into the closet. >> Did you ever put your hands around her neck? >> Did you have into the closet? >> Yeah. When I came out, I was in her neck. >> Okay. >> And about how long? Like so after you push her, is it just a push and then you leave or is it you push and kind of holding her in place? >> You know, I realize I'm messing up and that's when I'm like ah and like and then that's when I'm hands off like >> and that then that was the end. No more physical. >> No more physical after that. >> Got no cuz at that point I was already freaking out. This is just like two minutes trying to find glasses before you guys show up. But you can rewind the beginning if you need to. >> Will you throw me that Steelers jacket right there, please? >> Uh, this one right here. >> Yeah, please. Really? >> Yeah. >> Yep. >> Let me just make sure there's nothing inside of it. Don't want any >> knives, guns, hand grenades, uh, >> anything crazy. Yeah, >> just want to add these in there as well. There's two inside breast pockets for one. >> Here you go. >> Cuz I was watching the screen. >> Okay. >> This is before you guys even started interacting. >> Yeah. This got physical, >> right? This is that was the last thing that happened before I walked over to the rock. >> Gotcha. >> Like the Christmas tree, not you. >> Yeah. At the ground. >> Okay. You are insane. You are insane. >> You threw me on the [ __ ] ground. You hit me multiple times. >> No. No. You >> punched me in the face. >> I did not. I DID. >> I SLAPPED your face away. >> You got me. You me. You held me up on my [ __ ] THROW AND YOU BURNED ME TO THE GROUNDCE. >> NO. >> TWICE. >> NO. >> YES, you did. [crying] Look at me. Yes, you did. >> Why? >> Oh [ __ ] You did that. >> I was frustrated because you won't talk to me like you're a teacher. >> You're screaming at me because you just >> I lost hearing in my [ __ ] ear for like 5 minutes. [ __ ] you. The [ __ ] Why? Why? >> You're insane. Get out. >> Get out. Get your [ __ ] and get out. >> Get your [ __ ] and get out. >> Do not come back. >> No. I p No. >> Get your [ __ ] and get out. >> Don't you [ __ ] worry. You get your [ __ ] and get out now. >> I UNDERSTAND. BUT >> NO. YEAH, YOU UNDERSTAND. >> YOU ARE TRAUMATIZING YOUR kids right now. >> There is no sympathy. >> I'm not asking for sympathy. No, you need >> Look at your kids. Look at yourself in the mirror. >> You [ __ ] [ __ ] Get your [ __ ] out. Get your [ __ ] out. >> [ __ ] you. What you did? Look at my [ __ ] Are you kidding me? Are you [ __ ] You're right. >> Yeah, I'm sure. I'm sure. [ __ ] you. [ __ ] you. Yeah. Save yourself while you can. This is where she shot me and our children while I was holding my children. >> This is where he shoved me to the [ __ ] ground CUZ HE WOULDN'T GET OUT OF MY HOUSE AFTER hitting me and throwing me to the ground already. >> I literally stop this [ __ ] >> I'm still calm. >> I still >> I'm still calm. No, >> I'm stroking last night. >> Oh, you're still main [ __ ] person for the >> No, you [clears throat] [ __ ] STOP RIGHT NOW. YOU [ __ ] stop this [ __ ] right now. >> I'm a police. You're taking >> I'm on the [ __ ] leave. I'm the taking. >> It's right here. >> GOD, I CAN'T SEE. >> You're not calling 911. >> I can't [ __ ] see. Why not? We were talking about 911 conversation. So that's why 91 [ __ ] >> injury there. You punch me in my face. >> You beat me up. YOU KNOW I DIDN'T KNOW I did it. >> No, I didn't. No, I [ __ ] didn't. >> [ __ ] you. >> Get the [ __ ] out. >> No. I'm trying to find glasses for you. >> Oh my god. You literally [ __ ] punched me. >> I didn't punch you. I never punched you. >> YOU CHOKED ME. YOU LIFTED ME UP ON MY [ __ ] NECK. YOU THREW ME ON THE GROUND TWICE. OH, [ __ ] I pushed you against the wall. >> You guys okay to stay up here? I'm going to >> try to make contact with the neighbors downstairs. >> [ __ ] you. Congratulations. >> How long have you guys been together? >> Um, so when we had my daughter, we got together about 5 years ago and we were on on and off for until about a year and a half ago. So a year and a half we were started going real strong and we moved in just about basically a year ago and uh so yeah about a year and a half consistently. >> This the first time anything like this has ever happened? >> Yeah, absolutely. I can't help. We argued nothing ever like this. And I thought I got back before I left. [clears throat] Sometimes job gets us this way and that just means, hey, if you're smart, just cut it out, right? >> Yeah. Absolutely. >> Sometimes it's what it takes. It was just so weird. I never like those feelings that like when it happened I just never I never been to come over like that. It was it was so when you guys were in that closet was when you got pushed into that the whatever the shelves was it more like pushing your back like like this or was it like this? >> Yeah, it was a [ __ ] Okay. So, were you guys like the faces arguing when that happened? >> No, I I was consoling my kids and she just came around the corner and just popped out and did it. >> You just didn't say a word. Just went right up to you and pushed you. >> Yeah, she was she was like just screaming. She wasn't like screaming words. She was just like moan screaming, I guess. And she came around the corner and just give a good shot. >> Okay. And then you went and choked her. I'm going to push up against the wall. You only did it with two hands or one hand? >> It was two hands. >> Two hands around her neck. >> It wasn't around her neck. Yeah. >> Okay. All right. Yeah. >> All right, man. So, tonight you're going to be under arrest for much violence. We'll work on ahead and put your palms together like you're praying. Thank you. Not too tight. >> You said you got shoes on the side, right? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> These are white. >> No, these ones right next to the door >> right here. Yep. >> You have the right to remain silent.
