During my 29 years as a police officer in Florida, I've seen that most 911 callers are in actually in need of help. This one wanted to pull a prank and it went real bad real fast. >> Screaming at his house. Possibly a scam call. I will not answer any questions. Possible female caller. >> Okay, you can see it's 11:25 at night on December 12th of '23 and it's very dense traffic. >> Bravo 576, how many units going in? >> At this time we have four or so gathering information from the call taker. Caller did not sound frantic, possible female voice call. >> Bravo 521, I'm 23, there's nothing going on here. This is most likely a swatting call. >> Police connect. >> You guys are good. Probably a knock. >> What did he say? >> I'm going to just want to start checking the roadway for any casings. >> He said we should be good if this is nothing, but I'm still going to stay in the area because we don't know. >> Bravo 214, I believe it's an elderly couple that lives here. I've had contact here before. I'm going to go up and make contact at the front. We're good, guys. We're good. >> [sighs] >> All right, did you hear that >> [snorts] >> like that? It's not anger, it's like in a way it's relief, obviously, but you're your adrenaline spikes to like 100% when you're flying there. You don't know if it's real or not. Yeah, the radio says it's fake. Um, you probably have a pretty good indication that it's fake, but you don't know. When things settle, you're just like, like it's it's a release of adrenaline, but in the process you have lived two lives. You know, you've aged a year just in that process alone. >> Bravo 214, did the caller sound elderly? >> They called through the Bakersfield trunk line, so we're trying to call back and see if they have a record of that phone number. >> What's the >> So, when they call through the trunk trunkline, it's generally the non-emergency line, so it's not like a 911 call where all the information pops up and it populates. >> What's that? >> Couldn't tell you. >> So, it came through the trunkline? >> told you. >> What does that mean? >> No idea. Probably a dispatch term. But, the fact that it came in non-emergency tells me that it's most likely a swatting call. >> That's basically all I mean. The trunkline is like it's a main number and it gets routed to somewhere. It's like a tree trunk. >> No. No, okay. >> I mean, you know, whoever that guy is, I will teach him. >> Is there Did you hear someone shooting? >> I don't know if I didn't see anything. >> You didn't see anything? >> I didn't see anything. >> All right, we should be good. >> That poor old man. >> Couple questions for you. I understand that you're obviously scared for your safety given the number of times that you've called in today. Tonight, we have received over 10 phone calls related to a man actively firing a firearm in the city of Brookfield. Is that consistent with what you say you're observing? >> Yeah. >> Okay, we have gone to the area where you have claimed this has been happening three times tonight. >> Yeah. >> Yep, you've seen us there? >> Yeah. >> Okay, at this point, ma'am. >> He He has a camera. >> Okay, I would be I would love to see the video footage if that's something that you could provide for us cuz we have been unable to locate him. Can I send an officer to look at that with you? >> No, we want him to be to be stopped. >> If you want him to be stopped, why wouldn't you cooperate with that camera footage? >> to happen moving forward? We're going to be conducting an investigation for swatting. Are you familiar with that term? >> I hope I hope so. I hope that you guys are going to take him and his property in the custody and >> Not him. >> investigate his whole property. I swear to God. >> Well, I understand that >> And our children are are in risk. >> Sure. Unfortunately, we can't do anything because we don't have a complainant in this investigation. >> Well, we're worried about our kids. >> Yep, you've said that a couple times, ma'am. If you were so worried about your kids, I think you'd be willing to talk to an officer about it. >> Are you kidding me? Do you really Do you really want to Really? >> Yep. We're going to pull the phone records from the phone company. We'll write the subpoena. Once we get your phone number, we're actively going to investigate you for felony swatting. >> What felony swatting? >> So, swatting is when an individual calls in a complaint that elicits an emergency response that could qualify as a tactical team to come out. Which happened twice. Well, you sound somewhat intoxicated. Are you Have you had any drinks tonight, ma'am? >> Are you crazy? >> Uh no, ma'am. I'm trying to conduct this investigation for you. >> Are you crazy person? >> Nope. >> I'm as crazy as you are sober. >> She sounds familiar. Who's the girl that Moan got in a foot pursuit with and tackled? This was like 3 years ago up in Oh, I think I'm still on. >> I love it. This is I love it. This is your local cop. This is local cops knowing their area so good and remembering the calls and knowing the repeat kind of callers, the the chronic callers. I love it. >> Um we're going to end this. He's going to pay us $50 an hour. >> Oh, that's good for you. >> Yeah, sure is. >> All right. Anything else, ma'am? >> Nope. Have a great day. >> You too. Thank you. Bye. >> name is Ashley Corbin. I remember her. >> That's who I think it is. I think it's Ashley. Hello. >> Hello, Ashley. >> This is Ashley? >> Yeah. No. >> [laughter] >> Yes. No. No. This is not Ashley. This is anybody but Ashley. >> This is Sergeant Gribble with the Brookfield Police Department. You called us? >> Who is Ashley? >> I thought this was Ashley. >> Um Why would Why would you think that? >> Okay. Well, Ashley, right now we are going to finish this investigation for swatting. So, like I said before, you can either keep calling and each one will refer out as a different charge, or you can stop calling and we can move forward from here. >> Guess what? My name is Lizzie. You can stop calling me Ash, please. Thank you. >> Okay. You should probably slow down on the drinking tonight, ma'am. >> Fire and guns. >> Hello? >> Hello. >> Hi, is this 262? >> Yes. >> It is? >> Hello, what's going on? You're you're Ashley, correct? What's Can you kind of tell me what's going on? I'm playing catch up here. >> What? >> What's going on? >> What do you mean? What's going on? >> You I just understand Brookfield wants to talk to you, County wants to talk to you. >> What? >> You live here? >> My mom. >> Did you know officers were coming to talk to you? >> No. >> You were just You were just waiting out here for us? >> No, my mom. >> [laughter] >> Absolutely. >> Can we get my mom? >> I'm sorry. Come on, Prince. Sorry. Whoa. Whoa. >> [laughter] >> Okay, we got a train, America, and now we have a little Frenchie on the loose because we have an intoxicated Ashley who is holding an empty leash. >> Prince, no, no, no. Prince. >> 45 contact with her, there's no problems. Are they coming out here or they just want us to take her to County on the warrant? >> Prince, we got treats. Come on, get treats. Prince. Get treats. Prince. >> Prince doesn't want anything to do with Ashley. Not even a treat. The dog doesn't even want a treat. Look, my dog is here. He wants a treat. >> let's go, bud. >> Hey, come on. We're going to go see Grammy. Are you serious? >> Listens pretty well. >> Grammy. >> Except for >> Prince. We're going to go see Grammy. Princey. >> Is this door open or locked? She's trying to get the dog to go to Grandma's. She lives here. But the dog does not want to go on a leash. >> Prince. >> It's 99 for What's going on? >> Princey. >> She's been nice. I talked to her briefly and it was confusing. >> Chris! This is not funny. >> Maybe we're not losing the dog. Officers have resorted to whistling to see if that works to to get Prince to return, whatever his name is or her name. This is a circus. This is a nightmare. Like even they said like I was confused when I walked up here and now we've got all of this going on. >> Hey Hey bro, it's all you. >> I'm scared. >> It's not funny. >> We're not We're not laughing at your dog. >> Stop. All right, that's it. Chris, goodbye. I'm going to I'm leaving. I'll see you later. >> Go in peace. That's why I'm like go in peace. >> See you later. See you later. >> Will he go without a leash? >> You know what? I'll be back. See you later. Bye. >> Like the dog is going to >> [laughter] >> She's saying, "See you later. I'm leaving." You know, like the dog is going to go, "No, wait. Wait, I don't have my key swipe. Hold on. I I got to come with you." >> Stop. >> Thank you, sir. Thank you. All right, let's go over to your mom's. >> Thank you. Thank you. Hey John, how you doing? >> Thanks, Ron. >> Thank you. Hello. >> [laughter] >> John, this is so cute. So funny. >> Poor dog. >> No. >> No, okay. I'm sorry. >> Okay, apparently Prince is a he. >> Ashley, so Brookfield wants to talk to you, so we're >> So, I'm not going to talk to anybody without my attorney present? [clears throat] >> Very well. I will uh pass along to Brookfield and we'll see what they say. You're right. >> Naughty ass dog. This is why I don't have kids. I'm just I'm just going to put him in my >> I don't know if that's Let me know in the comments if that's the only reason she doesn't have kids. >> or in my in my mom's apartment. And then where where do you guys want me to go? >> Well, go Go on back upstairs. >> attorney? >> We'll get your attorney, sure. We'll pick up your attorney >> [laughter] >> They are mocking her at this point. Yeah, sure. We'll pick up your attorney at on the way. We need a van. Maybe we can get an Uber and we can all just go in one car. They were on the wrong floor. Let me know if this is the neighbor from hell. Let me know in the comments. >> Chris! Chris! >> Prince. What? >> Prince! Prince, get out of here. >> [laughter] >> Get out of here. Now, get out of I'm sorry. >> All right, this is Officer Becorps with the Waukesha Police Department. Um >> Thank you. >> Are you able to connect me with the Brookfield officer that >> Look at the look on her face. Like she's the one that's confused. Prince at this point looks exhausted. >> What's your name again? >> Ashley Corbin. >> Ashley Corbin? >> Holy >> In the city of Waukesha. Thank you very much. >> Prince! Yeah, let's go back, Granny. Go back, Granny. >> Granny. Where's Granny? No, this is Granny's >> Ashley, you're going to come with us. >> What? >> You're going to come with us. >> You weren't allowed to come in here, though. >> Yeah, you're going to come with us. >> Oh, I am? Oh, okay. Then I will. >> Well, like what's up? >> do show. >> I'm not. Well, I will. >> You're in police custody. You're in police custody right now. Yes. >> That's fine. >> Well, I don't try to get us out of the apartment when you're under arrest. >> Why am I in police custody? >> Well, you have a warrant, first of all. Second of all, Brookfield has criminal charges against you. >> Why? >> It sounds like you've been calling in fake police calls. Swatting, as they say. >> Okay, so the other officer has to go explain it to Granny and Prince that Prince is going to be a an overnight guest now. >> Come on. Okay. >> Who did you decide what? >> I did I did the officer. >> Oh, nice. >> So, in a relationship with an officer, so. >> Very cool. >> So, no, I'm not uh doing a a swatting thing with a Brookfield like they think me. >> I wouldn't joke about that. >> That's That is a serious joke. Ken is a psycho. >> I don't know who Ken is. >> The The guy. >> We honestly don't know much of what's going on. We were told you to come pick you up that you have a warrant and Brookfield wants to talk has called and said >> a Brookfield I date a Brookfield officer, okay? My my man is uh an officer, okay? >> [laughter] >> He is very skeptical of this. He's he's running the numbers right now. Very skeptical of this and he's like, "If this is true, I don't know who to believe here, but I don't think he's in good standing if it if it's actually true." You know what I mean? Like he's just he's trying to figure this out. >> I'm going to say it because I don't want to incriminate >> single time. >> I'm not going to say anything, but let me tell you something. The man Oh, I'm I'm sorry. >> You're okay. >> I was going to the basement. I was pushing base. You need to go? >> No, no, you're you're good. I'm sorry. >> Thank you, ma'am. >> Thank you. >> You're good. >> I don't know. I am rude. >> [laughter] >> The officer had to tell her about the etiquette of the elevator. That was kind of rude. >> I'm a surgeon, so like I'm very particular. I like I I do stuff like very particular. Like I do brain surgery. >> I Okay, let's take it outside. >> So it's very particular. >> So does that mean you can be in all of the people? >> I don't deal with people. She was sentenced to a year and six months of confinement followed by an additional year and six months of extended supervision. Look, if you like this video, watch the next one.
