On June 28th, 2025, officers were dispatched after a family intervention turned into a morning of pure chaos. >> Staying here, >> okay, >> for a while, >> and he is mad that we went in his room and took his uh beer cans away last night. And then we also moved to the car that he typically drives. Okay. because it's owned by my dad and he's driven it intoxicated before. >> He just tried to twist my fingers. >> He's being abusive. >> Step step over to this side real quick. Excuse me. >> Can you just step over here real quick? >> I'm going to get a chair and I'll be happy to. >> Awesome. Thank you. >> I know why you're here. Probably because of her. That's fine. >> Somebody called. What's your name? >> J. >> Okay. What's your name? >> Jason. >> Jason. Give me one second. Okay. Give me one second. All right. I'm going to wait for another officer and we're going to talk to everybody. to find out what's going on here. Okay. >> I'm going to sit right. >> There's no reason for this. >> Her She's the one I called. I know. I'm not stupid. >> Okay. >> Yeah, I did. Because you told both mom, dad, and myself that you were going to end us and we were dead. >> No, did not say that. >> He actually took a bat and >> I was I took a bat, but I didn't even touch you with that. >> As far as physically, everybody okay? >> He I don't I'm having trouble breathing by the >> Are you paramedics? No, I do. >> Okay. What was your name again? I'm sorry. >> Jason. >> Jason, come here. Talk to me over here. Come here. >> I was here a couple years ago talking to you guys. It's been a while since I've been here. Uh, but >> you got a bit of my brother Matt. >> Maybe. Okay. I don't know. I was here though. What? Uh, >> maybe you probably were. >> What was What's going on today? >> I got up this morning. >> Mhm. It was 10:30ish. >> Okay. But >> I didn't sleep that good the the night before. >> Okay. >> And I saw them come to my room. I didn't see them physically come in my room and there was a door open. So I'm like, why are you coming in my room? >> Okay. >> I mean >> this morning. >> Sometime this morning. I don't know what time that was, >> right? >> I'm like, what did you come in my room for? There's no reason for to come in my room. I'm sleeping. And I'm like, when they didn't they said nothing about her, >> okay, >> we didn't do that anything like that, >> but whatever. Um, >> I'm like, what if what if I was doing something you didn't want to see? Whatever, right? I mean, I got you. I mean, >> personal space, right? >> Yes. Okay. All right. >> And they they both Oh, no. He didn't do that. Just But >> you were you in the room? >> I was in the room. >> Okay. You were in the room. Okay. Did they were they like checking on you, make sure you're okay? Like >> No, they didn't wake me up or I was sleeping. >> So they they invaded your personal space. What happened after that? >> So I went see my dad. Why did you come by my room for >> It was your dad and your sister here >> and my sister was Well, he said my sister went in there too. >> Caller's a female sitting down. Okay. >> And then I I I didn't try force. I I I took told my sister, "You're going to come in my come with me to go talk to my dad." And so, why did you come in my room when I was sleeping? >> So, you want to talk to your dad? Okay. >> And she she she didn't want to come in there. >> So, I just grabbed her by her. >> No, no, no, no. I grabbed her by her shirt. >> You do it without touching it. Okay. >> That's fine. >> And she she wouldn't come. So, I'm like, "What?" Well, I just want to know why did you come in my room without >> Okay. >> my permission. Okay. >> And she denied it. So I'm like, "Okay, fine. Whatever." >> Okay. >> That's it. >> That's it. >> Okay. So, you grabbed it by the shirt. Is that what you're saying? >> Yeah. >> Cuz uh she said that he grabbed it by the wrist. And I didn't hear your dad what he was saying, but that you grabbed the dad by the wrist also. >> Did that sound about right or no? >> I grabbed him by I I told him, "Here, come on." I see. He's like, "Don't touch me. Don't touch." I said, "I'm not going to touch you. Just grab my hand so I can help you get up and we're going to talk about this." And he didn't want to. All right. >> So, what's the solution going to be here? >> Solution is I'm not going to do anything. I just want to sit lay in my room and watch TV. That's all I want to do. >> All right. That's right. We We Your brother was having some issues with his family a while back. Is that your >> He's going through a divorce, but >> Yeah. Okay. That's your brother that that we hopefully that we talked to. >> And And your sister's staying here right now, too? >> Yes. >> Okay. Um where's your mom? >> She's in here, too. >> Okay. Is she okay? >> She's side. >> Okay. >> All right. All right. Just sit tight. So, he's going to talk to them, get a an account of what's they got going on, and then we'll figure it out. Okay. >> That's all I >> All right. So, so just stay here with me till he's done talking to them. >> So, I'm the one that called. Um, he is intoxicated. My parents have a deal with him where he's not speaking. some sort of agreement that he could be um evicted evicted sorry property. >> He is mad because my dad and I this morning took the truck that he drives which is in my dad's name um and parked it elsewhere because he drives from his drunker. >> Um so he's mad. >> These are the cans he drinks. >> That's what I collected um today. He's mad that I wanted in his room. I know where he keeps it and I I basically just wanted proof for my parents cuz they're going through this eviction procedure. Um so he's mad that I went in his room without his permission, which I can understand. >> Yeah. >> But at the same time, um did not warrant him grabbing me by my shirt and back and shoving me down the hallway. And then he also took a baseball bat to my dad. >> Like threatened him with it. >> Yeah. Or he didn't obviously hit you, right? >> What? >> He didn't hit you obviously. He just >> No, he took a bat though and he was threatening me. >> He didn't hit He did hit me. >> He did hit me. >> And I'm sorry, but I've been through this with him a few times. >> Every time he drinks, it gets violent. >> And I I told myself I would never deal with this again cuz I wasn't in an abusive relationship with someone in the past. And so I don't care at this point. I don't even care that that's my brother. >> And then so when he shoved you, did you fall to the ground or you just kind of >> hit the wall? >> He fell into a wall. Okay. And this occurred by his bedroom like after you confronted him? >> My bedroom. He was in my room. I was I'm packing cuz I'm going out of town. And >> so he was upset that you found his stash of empty cans and then that's when it escalated. >> And the car being gone. >> Okay. >> He came out here to smoke and realized his truck wasn't here. >> Did he push you from behind or in your chest? >> He from behind. He grabbed, you know, got his shirt right here and then started shoving me and pulling me from my room down the hallway to where my dad my parents were dad my where my dad was. >> What was his reasoning for that? What was he trying to drag you over there for? >> Because he was mad and he that his car is not here and that his alcohol here like there was one that had some in it and I poured out. Um, so he he's saying like, you know, you shouldn't have been in my room, which okay, fine. You know, but >> this is a different set of circumstances. It's not just >> this is a special set of >> and like I said, like I I was abused, so I'm not going to put up with the man touching me. >> Okay. Um, well, the thing is is I see signs. You know, you have some redness on your neck. you know, obviously you're um you know, what he did was uh basically domestic battery, you know, other than salulting nature where he physically, you know, um so I'm going to have to arrest him. Um he's going to go out to the county and he can come back here for minimum of 3 days and then after that >> I'll be gone. you could decide what you guys want to do, whether you get order protection, you know, things of that nature, uh to keep them away. Um or, you know, um yeah, so you basically have 3 days to figure out what what what's next after everything is just settled and you know, talk to your parents and and then uh see what's next. Okay, so that's what's going to happen and then uh should be good. Okay, so real quick, what happened? I I told him what happened. So I don't know why. >> She's got a better Did you grab uh Did you grab her by the shirt and push her and like did >> I grab her I grabbed her extra. I'm not going to lie. Because I wanted her to talk to me and my dad why they came in my room while I was sleeping. >> That was it. That's all I >> Yeah, but you know that's a domestic, right? >> It's a domestic battery basically. You can't grab people by the shirt and push them and drag them with you. I understand that, but there's been many times both of them >> have done that to me and I've never called the cops. So, >> well, unfortunately, you know, we're here and uh I have to place you under arrest. Okay. So, turn around. >> I'm not going under. I am not. >> Do you have anything in your pockets? >> No, I don't. >> Okay. >> Can I talk to my dad? >> No. Why? Cuz you're under arrest. There's nothing happening, but that's fine. I know trust you can't [Music] grab me. results. >> So, I can't bring any rice at all. >> He needs alcohol treatment. I would actually uh he went for 30 days and he came home after a couple weeks and started drinking again. And uh he needs to go back for some kind of alcohol treatment. >> Yeah. Well, hopefully, you know, unfortunately no one could force it unless he wants it. So, the only way we could do it >> is take it to Yeah. So, was he going to he's going to go out to the county and and then um obviously he'll have to not drink there, but uh depends, you know, what happens after. Yeah. Like you said, a judge could order him to go to get some treatment. And um if you guys have to write up a report, I would highly recommend you ask a judge to that he needs to have alcohol treatment. >> Yeah. I'll I'll note it, you know, that he's obviously this is why it started, you know, was over his alcohol. You know, >> it's he's you know, truthfully, when he's not drinking, he's the nicest guy in the world, but when he's drinking alcohol, he turns into this evil guy. >> Yeah. >> What do you think?
