video on March 23 2023 officers with the Houston Police Department were dispatched to a reported kidnapping in Harris County a third party had reported seeing a woman trying to escape from a red sedan before being grabbed by a male attacked then forced to get back in the car officers were able to use security footage to identify the suspect and tracked him to a local gas station show me your hands show me your hands can you step out for me yeah I got it I was waiting for my my truck to be towed what did I do you're just being detained right now right for what time we'll let you know in just a second USP all right you have any weapons on you man no I got my again throw it right there right there that's the gun two or six shooters okay all right you don't have anything else on you right I count of kidnapping and one misdemeanor count of assault on a family member if convicted he could face up to 10 years behind bars foreign yes do you need a bag or anything uh I can use one I got one again [Applause] truck is five forwards at 8 400 on the Windows we're going to pass on the street side of the head it looks like it may be closer yeah there's a pistol here I don't know if you want me to touch it but it's not the looks I don't know okay I'm pretty sure so if we get a new charge it's even that's even better okay well what was the deal with them sorry I was trying to call you guys so earlier today around 8 30 in the morning some women third party saw him he was pretty much being Eric Drucker into the car okay and then that's how we started with the case uh it's like a strip singer okay but uh anyways and so we ran with the the witness took a picture of the place we ran with a plate and it was long story short a couple days ago or they they got evicted right around the corner yeah but whatever if you guys don't mind letting him see if he's a felon or whatever yeah and try to get charges in there and we'll do it all okay you can step off from me you're not going to jail today okay okay it's about they're probably gonna take pictures of you that's normal I love you too press charges let's go this way I'm going to release these for you okay I need you to remain calm okay never mind this is Tiny no problem I don't think I could maybe we can fit some stuff in here unless you have a bigger one yeah I want to leave your ring and the point and everything I was going to get rid of the screws on the socket all that stuff just uh some of that stuff might not be allowed out right because if it's like sharp they may throw it away okay I keep dropping that fuse you nice because I've been in County Jail 20 times well I'm not saying with the other guys I'm saying with the staff there they don't know they don't mess around so don't be going in there like oh yeah or about that pistol she gave me that gun you tell her to find out I did some sir I do you want to search him real quick okay go ahead just lean up against here then I got his cell phone and his uh a bag of coin and keys and stuff like that I'll give you charge your phone I'm gonna call you please try to get me out of stolen pistol charts it's in a glove and then that phone I love you I'm gonna call you want to go huh we just got a little bit of scene we're investigating that's all right if somebody was dead you think you could get this close man we'd have 10 top and all kinds of stuff excuse me
