on May 1st 2023 a deputy on routine
Patrol noticed an approaching vehicle
with its high beams illuminated in
Warrens Wisconsin the deputy was
temporarily blinded by the bright lights
causing him to pull over to the roadside
as the vehicle passed it became evident
that it had no front or rear license
plates and emitted a noticeably loud
exhaust
as the deputy attempted to close the
distance if here the vehicle had
accelerated rapidly indicating an effort
to avoid law enforcement
after finally catching up the deputy
initiated a traffic stop only to have
the vehicle briefly slow down before
promptly fleeing the scene
the driver was later identified as a 28
year old male named Nicholas
been climbing
I guess Western 18 break your stuff
and get spikes up
70 miles an hour westbound one October
all conditions are good the traffic is
simple silicon acceleration speeds 48. I
like to hit him up here
35 dog

Nicholas persisted in fleeing for
several miles employing various
deceptive Maneuvers to confuse the
deputy
[Music]
foreign
[Music]
[Music]
the deputy then positioned his vehicle
prepared to carry out a pit maneuver
pending the Sergeant's approval however
no response was received giving Nicholas
numerous opportunities to keep evading
that works
skinny white male Drive looks like the
glasses
oh you need to make a call here buddy
70 traffic
non-existent road conditions are good
still Southbound on the road
and 35 to 33. I would assume when I get

stationed ahead equipped with spike

channel so that way they don't Spike me

I see a trooper I'm gonna back off a
little bit despite Nicholas's attempt to
evade the spike strips he was
unsuccessful
thank you
looks like you might drive over the
spikes here standby
[Music]
they're all good spikes good spikes
looks like driver front hit driver

vehicle due to Flat tires and crashed in
a ditch subsequently he immediately
fought on foot

[Music]
get on the [ __ ] Brown
stay on the [ __ ] ground I'm down I'm
down I got him at taser points
do not [ __ ] move do you understand me
I'm gonna hit you again
I roll onto your stomach
[Applause]
you just wait you understand me please
I got probes in them hands behind your
back
okay we'll get it on your Channel
s off
nice that was fun
all right I'm Deputy after the sheriff's
office so I'm just trying to stop you
okay hey what's your name something
first what's your name I want to explain
something hold on what's your name
first someone explained my high beams
were not on I know that was your intent
to stop me from a hiding it's because
you don't have any plates you could see
my front plate with my high beams on you
don't have any points I know but you had
to turn around yeah and you don't have
any rear plates I think you're going 62
on Dove 62. yep so you have an idea
inside the car nick uh I believe I do
yeah all right is that your car yeah
okay it's not registered while you're
running
while you're running I've got so much
[ __ ] going on my head is well this is
really dumb spread your feet I agree sir
do you need an ambulance for the taser
probes do you want me to pull them out
myself or you want to have an ambulance
but
pull them out go ahead just pick it up
all right okay it's all right I can
handle a lot of pain
all right ready yep doesn't even hurt
another one up here okay
rip this one okay go ahead just pull
anything else on you no sir anything
this QuickBooks to ever hurt me nope all
right you've been arrested before yes
sir I've got a little bit of a record
I'll admit all right anything in your
underwear no sir what's all this blood
from for me from the uh Fallen it's
all right I'm just gonna finish
searching you okay stay right there no
pockets on the pants thank you yeah do
you have a license
not available
I would like to sit somewhere warm at
least no I get that but we got things we
got to do all right I understand you
guys keep these probably evidence
related or something all right anything
while you're gonna start the car uh
there shouldn't be no unless somebody
put something in there but it's cool
here anyways
you wanna oh it's [ __ ] full of water
God damn it I was gonna say I was gonna
grab my dog yeah I was about to say if
you want to run them just yeah I can
either run them for the vehicle or I was
gonna see if it gets anything I was
honest I was on him from when he left
here so he didn't I don't think he threw
anything all tobacco pipe there's
propane cylinder in the back
random electronics and bits but nothing
that should be illegal if there's any
marijuana it's usually a distillate I
get it from a site called vivimo
v-i-v-i-m-u they actually sell like
legalized so but I haven't been in the
car for a while but Sunnyvale to turn
that off too just for the sake of the
grass we don't start a fire it's uh
we're pretty swampy down there I know it
is it's into the exhaust and it has a
misfire so one cylinder runs really hot
so I just worry I would rather not have
that also yeah and then have to deal
with that and my right knee too is
pretty good that's where all that's
coming from
to trip up on the pavement or whatever
yeah from the taser
oh it hurt a lot more to be honest
if I got enough adrenaline going on
follow that and they do have a high pain
tolerance in my mother both my mother
like
she ended up having ovarian cyst
a little bit bigger than a softball
where she finally found out
whoever you want to put them in your car
for now yeah thanks
right there you got me now let me I'll
give you some plastic bags or something
for when you're sitting
what happened to your hands up in the
fall
uh I mean it was enough to rip open the
pants here so
if you want some sit on it
my grandma's got cancer she had a stroke
that going through so much [ __ ] that
I guess somebody could basically made a
false events to copy I'm still trying to
fight that and they want to have me
probation over it stand right there and
face the door
yeah he said he's gonna write it thanks
for the spike dude yeah for sure
hold on okay
please try to keep as much stuff on the
paper bag as possible I would greatly
appreciate it yeah
a canine unit was later dispatched to
conduct a free air sniff on his vehicle
leading to a positive alert it was also
discovered Nicholas had an active
misdemeanor warrant for his arrest
furthermore he had a revoked driver's
license due to an alcohol offense you
know you got so many spots here I would
I don't even think Usain Bolt would be
able to get out of you guys just because
you know it's
so many of you where'd the taser hit you
at um there is still one up in the top
left otherwise it's like Center back is
that in your is that can you feel it
yeah he tried pulling it was not coming
out I think it's also Bound in because
this is a sherpa line so it's really
heavy no yeah I was like yeah if it's in
the closer in your skin but I think it's
kind of intertwined with both really
yeah no I get it
being taste isn't fun oh isn't as bad as
I thought if you have been shocked by
120 as well and I'd say it's on part I'm
not a fan of electricity I'd say yeah I
would uh I mean don't want to do it but
what's your name Sir Nicholas Nicholas
how old are you Nicholas 28 28 years old
all right I'll be older enough to do
this but
this is why my eggs are so scrambled I
don't know what I'm thinking yeah that's
all right we're just gonna sit here and
have a conversation no big deal oh yeah
I appreciate the uh honesty cooperation
just uh yeah I don't know what I was
thinking man honestly it was one of
those Scrabble next moments I got so
much going on
there shouldn't be I mean if it is in
there it is from like years ago have you
gave anyone rides recently in your car
that uses anything no
no it's been sentenced since like
November and even before then I was
really only taking it once a month so
what's your cooperation yeah that's a
great medical history and cardiac
problems
diabetes hypertension my thing is you
know my sight my head being scrambled
that's about only things going on right
now I'm pretty wearing a seat belt
I was yes that is one of my biggest
things I don't care probably I'd ever
get in my life I will always throw my
seatbelt because
if not for me for somebody else because
if say I hit something and my car
started to roll back into the road well
if I did in my face
I've been through so much all my life
pain at this point doesn't matter much I
just feel like you had more today or
what I I've got a grandmother who's got
cancer and then she had a stroke on her
hair tape
you know we're dealing with States going
through her stuff my uncle's stuff and
passed away before my grandsons
decision came out before I thought I was
making it and then by the time I
realized what I'm doing I'm like [ __ ]
well the words of advice for the future
would you have that old [ __ ] on it just
stop yeah
no matter no matter when you realize it
the gas station perhaps we've all we've
all been through a lot of [ __ ] we all
make mistakes we learn from them right
so I literally set up spikes no I don't
think so you know just to pull across
Austin or assault on Excelsior
I would have been up here with Hefner if
there wasn't a train standing still in
Whiteville there's a train stop
and stuff you guys down there yeah yeah
hey just hold on take a step over here
quick we gotta change cuffs here oh yeah
yeah here's a little on the uh outside
here but I guess I don't know what
you're talking about the blood here oh
okay on the car yeah it's on the outside
though so at least it's not as big of a
pain for you and we're not worried about
it you know compared to being on the
seats or something that's more of a plan
come up here
find the bars sorry you just have my
extra scrap
is that too tight nope that's fine
should I stay in the bags
uh reach over here
it's all good I learned to slide my foot
forward a little bit there's room there
we go he was later interviewed and said
he had a bunch of stuff going on
including caring for his grandmother as
the reason he fled he admitted that he
had planned to pull over but for some
reason fled he also stated the warrant
was another motive
I don't know
everyone stand this cool boxes against
the wall
following the 16-mile pursuit Nicholas
was charged with felony vehicle fleeing
eluding an officer misdemeanor counts of
resisting obstructing an officer
operating while revoked and Bale jumping
he also received several citations
totaling over eight hundred dollars
eventually he was granted release on a
one thousand dollar cash Bond
scrambled eggs moments I got so much
going on inside my head being scrambled
that's about only things going on right
now
decision came out before I thought I was
making it yeah
