unless the suspect doesn't have a gun. But, that doesn't mean the K9 would just sit back if you try to attack, like in this case. Or like this guy. But, before getting to them, let's see what happened to the suspect who pulled a gun on a deputy and bit a K9's ear. Biting won't help you. Brandon Richter. On March 16th, 2021, K9 Corporal Brandon was tasked to locate the fugitive, Brandon Richter, who had several outstanding warrants. The K9 Corporal, along with his K9 partner Scout, managed to locate Brandon. Scout kept a firm hold of Brandon while the K9 Corporal tried to disarm him, but it quickly became clear apprehending Brandon wouldn't be easy. God damn it. But, at least he lived to face his charges, unlike this guy who thought stabbing the K9 would be his ticket to escape. Don't act foolish when odds are against you. Matvey Klimenko to On 12th April, 2023, SWAT team responded to a call made earlier to the cops about a possible kidnapping and burglary at a woman's house. The call was made by the woman's friend because the woman was being threatened with a knife by a man named Matvey. Once the woman's safety was assured, a bullhorn was used to get Matvey out of the house. He's running. He's running. The cops saw Matvey, who was attempting to escape. The cops pursued him, but the K9 Zeke was fast enough to catch up. What the cops didn't know was that Matvey still had the knife and was about to stab Zeke. With no other choice, officers gunned Matvey down, killing him on the spot. Matvey was a convicted felon and had several warrants for charges involving this woman. The next case shows a guy who injured a K9 and managed to escape, but wasn't lucky enough to stay free for long. Hurting a K9 will always end badly. Fernando Sanchez. On September 11th, 2017, a patrol car was in pursuit of a truck driven by Fernando Sanchez, who eventually rammed it into a security gate at the William J. KENNY POLICE FACILITY. IN THE MEANTIME, THE K9 officer released his K9 partner Reno to chase down Fernando. Reno wrestled with him, but Fernando fought back, and Reno came back to the officer injured. I WILL [ __ ] SHOOT FERNANDO WAS charged with robbery, attempted carjacking, and assault with a deadly weapon. Reno, on the other hand, has made a full recovery and is hopefully back on duty. On the 8th of April, 2023, Daytona Beach Police received a 911 call about a burglary at a local car dealership. I have a man on the lot just wearing shorts and a tennis jacket. I just found him in the car. He's about 10 ft behind my car. And you found him in the car? Right now. I found him in the vehicle right now. He's right behind my car. Okay, yep. Richard was charged with burglary of a conveyance, battery on a law enforcement officer, and resisting officer with violence. He was released on June 21st after posting $12,000 in bail. Let's hope Richard reconsiders his life choices and makes better decisions.
