imagine conducting a routine traffic stop with no clue of what the driver might be carrying turns out they're delivering several kilos of drugs want to talk about what's in the car sir I just swapped car that is not my car I have a black Ford truck or perhaps even more but if you think that's shocking officers have even found explosives during stops like in this case explain to me what that device is in the back of your car that looks like a bomb uh I didn't my boyfriend made that okay sit there's a [ __ ] bomb in the back of that car but before we dive into the explosives case let's first see how the cops managed to find several kilos of drugs and how it all went down keep your docs up to date on the 30th of April 2019 Orlando Police Officer patino and his partner made a traffic stop for speeding what they didn't expect was that this would be anything but ordinary after asking for the car's paperwork and license they discovered the car's tags had expired last year and the driver's license had seven suspensions even though the driver claimed the car wasn't his officer patino had already grown suspicious of something else I'm going be honest with you all right yes sir make be honest with me SM old of marijuana coming from within the vehicle all right so let me finish though there anything in the vehicle to know about no my my brother smoke and I was just around him the driver thought a cover up would fool the cops but he underestimat their experience I really don't want to step out man cuz then that mean I'm I'm that means I'm going to search you no no stop okay uh I work with Florida sight Services I'm just coming from work [Music] have a seat on that black bumper with nothing on the driver the cops decided to search the vehicle while the other officer searched officer patino had a little chat with the driver who was panicking like he had stolen the Mona Lisa painting I don't do nothing man I a plan on getting P I'm just coming homew and I know I wasn't speeding so why am I being P what's the problem car you know what I mean I'm just wondering why you pulling me over I got you that's all I'm wanted ain't no big deal but I'm just while they chatted the other cops suddenly arrested the driver out of the blue if you fight don't beat the [ __ ] out of you turn around oh Jesus Jesus 4 kilos no uh I wonder he's so nervous I'm why he's so nervous [Music] dude the officer found several kilos of cocaine sitting in plain sight on the passenger seat visible to anyone who would just glance inside the driver's lack of subtlety was commendable [Music] the exact hall four kilos of cocaine enough to land him in jail for a long time but this isn't even the most absurd case on our list the next case shows why casually traveling with a bomb isn't the most genius thing to do a new meaning of casually transporting Mariah Davis and zann Bennett bomb inside car on January 24th 2022 an officer pulled over Mariah Davis was suspected of stealing $300 worth of Legos from Walmart hi hey did you got your license insurance on you so the reason we stopped you is today Walmart called in there did you suspect of possibly ringing up some items Mark did I ring up items huh you said did I ring up items yeah Mark yeah huh so I bought it you bought items yeah okay Officer Johnson along with another officer began questioning Mariah who was trying to keep her cool what were you doing to Walmart now yeah buying okay cuz we're going to call it you stole Legos earlier did he get your ID yeah he got it okay you ever been arrested before yeah for what receiving um still in property cuz I was driving someone else's car despite her attempts to cooperate and give straight answers the officer's attention was quickly drawn to the Legos in the back seat will you roll down your back window for me thank you what is all that all right go ahead and hop out real quick but the Legos weren't the only thing he found there was something far more alarming arming a device that looked like a bomb with no explanation for that Mariah knew she had gotten herself in hot water you're going to be detained right now okay do you have anything illegal in the car there's um a b there's bars in my purse some xanx bars you're not prescribed okay you have any guns in the car no any other drugs I don't think so okay explain to me what that device is in the back of your car that looks like a bomb uh I my boyfriend made that okay sit tight there a [ __ ] bomb in the back of that car like bunch of fireworks trapped together with like metal and [ __ ] wrapped around can you start a supervisor out here looks like there's some sort of explosive device in the back of the car that someone has built it's got like four big ass fireworks and there's like big old screws and [ __ ] all within that and then it's wrapped got like a bunch of stuff wrapped around it Ian I don't think it's going to go off the officers could only hope to get back to their homes in one piece in the mean time the cops called a supervisor to handle the situation she just all she said is that uh her boyfriend made it oh yeah um so we probably want to figure out who boyfriend meanwhile Mariah was arrested and she she called Zayn who arrived on foot but his audacity to ask for the possession of the car was almost comical uh my girlfriend had it on her okay I have a picture of my ID yes I have a picture of my ID down where'd you come from I just just came around came walk car wash my friend had brought me up here where' your friend go oh he still parked at the car wash where's your vehicle hey so you're not on but I'm going to detain you real quick cuz we got some things we got to talk about though Zayn wasn't immediately arrested his detainment was enough to make him spill the truth it's a whole bunch of little fireworks that are tied like in tape oh I mean like like okay so it's like a stick Zayn explained what the device was made of and how he created it but the reason he gave for making it was truly out of left field yeah he he said he's just out doing he was going to do some redneck stuff today and he was going to take it out and blow up some watermelons with it he said it's a couple of fireworks tied together you have to light up like a normal Firework and he said I just wanted to see what the stuff I taped to it on the outside would do if I lit it by a watermelon all the screws and everything yeah I said I said were you trying to use it as a weapon were you going to you know go do anything today he goes no I was just going to blow up some watermelons I said okay and he goes That's why I left it in the car cuz we were going to go and then we didn't go so I was like all right cool so he doesn't even seem really nervous my evening the bomb squad arrived and determined the device was safe after dismantling it they found it was made of fireworks Fish Hooks metal screws and rivets for his Innovative creation Zayn was charged with illegally manufacturing and explosive device while Mariah was charged with Petty Larsen but where we have guys like him we also have drivers like the one in the next case just trying to survive cooperation will benefit you always driver carrying $1 million worth of marijuana on the 10th of February 2022 a siblings County Sheriff pulled over a white van in New Mexico that was swerving between lanes suspecting that the driver might be under the influence the officer decided to have a chat with the road okay yeah I'm sorry about that no worries man it happens I just want to make sure you're safe to drive I'm just going to give you a warning okay all right sorry about that how you doing today I'm doing well where you headed I'm headed back home where's home uh Texas nice where you coming from uh right there uh Flagstaff black staff M who takes you out there uh I was just going to see a friend or two you rented the vehicle oh no my friend Donnie did Donnie Donnie osario okay yeah the conversation was friendly and as the officer ran the paperwork it seemed that the driver was going to be released with just a warning but luck wasn't on his side I'm going to check the some numbers on the vehicle make sure it matches his documentation here Qui step out on my tire then we'll come back in here Qui okay man so one more thing before I finish this up okay when I made initial contact with you now that I checked the B on the vehicle I got the order of marijuana coming from the vehicle okay Mexico is a recreational State you can have up to 2 ounces of marijuana how much marijana do you have in the vehicle uh probably like okay be okay let me tell you something okay be honest with me you didn't get stopped by the regular place okay you got stopped by inter addiction unit okay yeah and I know you're smuggling marijuana yeah okay I know the back of that van right there is full of marijuana all those bags right there yes I can smell it's strong mhm okay I've been doing this for a while yeah I'm I'm very aware okay how much one do you have it's probably about uh I don't know exactly but I know it's over 100 lb over 100 lb yeah okay do you give me consent to search your vehicle yeah okay even though the driver remained Cooperative he knew he was in deep trouble so now he decided to come clean so where are you coming from man I'm coming from California California okay and are you just a driver or did you pick up this marijuana for someone else are you getting paid for no I'm just a driver you're just a driver yeah okay who you who you working for uh guy on this on this paper right here you on that paper right there yeah how much you getting paid to to haul this marijuana uh it's a pretty FR round like maybe like 7 8,000 7 or 8,000 yeah okay so you're picking up from Cali and where you taking it I'm taking it to Whata call it Washington DC Washington okay all right so you're getting paid to so you're basically you're the MU doing okay how long have you been working for this uh drug Trade Organization not too long like two months two months is it a big or organization uh no no it's not it's just small time people small time people yeah nothing like nothing huge no cocaine nothing like that but this guy's the main yeah he yeah okay all right man so what I'm going to do is I'm going to we're going to get out I I have to put cuffs on you okay I want to put cuffs on you I'm just going to have you stand uh sit right there on that brick for me okay and then I'll search the vehicle and then we'll go from from there whatever I locate okay the officer began searching the vehicle and found something unexpected backup was called along with the K9 as they conducted a thorough search of the vehicle the officer asked a few more questions how much you think all that's worth like uh 100K 100K it's a lot of money you have 100K hell no no how much is this your first trip or how many times have you made this trip probably like two times two times the second time it's my first time actually knowing like what's going on how much you get paid your last two trips uh just like 6,000 so I'm really not really worth it as you can tell is it all weed or is there yeah it's just all weed coke and [ __ ] in there n it's all weed for sure my suggestion to you is not to smuggle marijuana anymore cuz you're not very good at it yeah I'm not you know what that amount is in that's weird right what the amount of weed you have how much how much 10 to 20 years no I don't need that I'm a good kid I'm just trying to make a little money on the side not a drug dealer can you do 10 to 20 years no sir how old are you I'm only 25 you have kids no I do not I guess you can have kids when you're 35 no that's I might have a little sperm column by then you know when you're in jail you're going to jack off a lot well or you going to pack some fudge none of that I'm not I'm I don't know what have youever been arrested before uh yeah one time before uh what you call Pi in Texas Texas what's pi public intoxication no felonies no I I would uh looking to getting a different type of job but yeah I'm a I'm actually a CDL truck driver and I should what the hell man you may getting money driving trucks I know bro that's why I'm I feel so stupid right now you guys just made me realize how stupid I am and while you said it I did it well I mean it cuz what I say I mean so how how are your bosses are they pretty linked up in some bad [ __ ] or is it just I don't know that deep honestly to be honest I don't know if it's that deep I've only deal with the marijuana do you have your boss's phone number uh yeah let me get that from you the driver was released on the side of the road pending a federal prosecution review after all the information he provided was documented what the driver wasn't able to notice was that the marijuana he was transporting wasn't worth 100 Grand but over $1 million well good luck with your boss the agents will be in contact with you you might be having the marshals kicking on your door to take you to prison so you serious I'm serious man it's a lot of weed oh so it's like that oh it's like that man I told you I can't I can't arrest you right now but the agents will uh get all your documentations together and they might be kicking in your door with a warrant so just keep an eye on the mail for paperwork let's hope he didn't get into much trouble unfortunately we can't say the same for the guys in the next case don't be a crybaby driver and passenger suspended license roaming with concealed gun in May 2022 a Chevy pickup with three people inside was pulled over because the driver's license was suspended and she knew it but this traffic stop was about to become much more than just a suspended license your license would you the cop requested other license related documentation but the rear passengers seem to be in a hurry you Boss shut the door shut the door my my wallet's right here okay first of all don't open the door and try and get out of a car when you're stopped I'm sorry I got pts I'm just trying to like be chill this kid don't ever try and open a door and get out of while I'm did he drop anything on the ground over there what are you dropping I didn't I was trying to get out why don't you hop out cuz I see that knife right here all hop out I was trying listen just hop out just hop out don't reach for the knife or anything like that okay stand right here for me I'm going to pat you down cuz you're acting all weird no I'm not give me your hands from here the situation escalated from 0 to 100 pretty quick give me the key I don't understand what is happening right now like what is going on I'm going to pat you down because you already saw that knife that you tried to reach for there I didn't try to reach for knife man it's on the floor it's not even mine drop what's in your hand right now mine it's not even mine [ __ ] bro come on bro put have any weapons on you absolutely not sir I've done nothing okay I've done nothing right the cops had called back up and all eyes were on the crybaby you made the wrong choice today bud he was trying to pull that out of his pants no I wasn't sir I promised you I was trying to get out of the car the entire time cuz you kept reaching then you tried to grab the knife listen you tried to grab the knife and then when I trying to pat you down then you try to run listen okay I'm not going to listen to anything there's nothing to hear told you you're just being detained right now okay doesn't mean you're charged with anything as long as you cooperate anything like that I apologize to my friend be honest about what's going on and everything like that okay all right the crybaby was shoved into the cop car ready to shed the rest of his tears Behind Bars meanwhile the driver was still trying to talk her way out of the mess but that didn't end well either no I didn't even know my license was suspended hey remember the day we were on the phone with you we called you bought this truck and we told you license was no good so like two weeks ago yep obviously you didn't get it fixed two from two weeks ago to today right I'm usually not the one that's driving right well today you were right so you can sent to my vehic no you you got marijuana and Plain View right here but that's not mine it's in your vehicle and I'm supposed to know when somebody else gets in my vehicle and doesn't say anything you're responsible for everything that's inside your vehicle as the driver you are responsible yes for every anyone and anything that goes inside your vehicle you're responsible for their safety and you're responsible for your own in the end the driver was also arrested and charged with driving on a suspended license and possession of paraphernalia while the crybaby faced charges of resisting arrest with violence carrying a concealed weapon and possession of paraphernalia
