their brilliant hiding spot turns into an all you can sniff buffet for the dog your stomach keep on going out stop moving stop moving your hands behind here are several times when cops used canines to sniff out criminals the first case involves a man who thought he could evade the cops but ended up in a very painful arrest up hands up hey put your hands up hands up the I won go the on February 23rd 2024 San Diego cops engaged in a car chase with a suspect who bolted after getting busted he probably thought he could pull a fast one and make a clean getaway but he didn't count on one thing a k9 arrest and obstruction of justice still on the topic of dumb criminals who ran straight into the bite of a Kine here's Martin a man who was met with a brutal encounter with a canine after getting court for arson what's your Polie K I come out your hands up the dog the used FS bus on March 24th 2013 officers were dispatched to a residence after receiving arson complaints about a man who was burning a Christmas tree in his backyard when officers got to the location they immediately pulled out a can9 ironically named pyro the suspect named Martin was non-compliant even after much persuasion leaving the cops with no other choice and off to 7055 or 7125 55 hey is this an arson [Applause] wait come on it's an arson right felony come on the window he's got something a water bottle canine was still in front of him the officers decided Martin might need another round of dogged persuasion to get the message face down on your stomach on your stomach on your stomach stop fighting thousands of dollars worth of reconstructive surgery after going to jail the next case is quite different and it involves the cops using a canine to catch a dumb burglar in the middle of the crime to were called to the scene of an ongoing burglary as they approached the location the situation was tense but they had a secret weapon by their side a highly trained canine ready to bring down the case of a canine who saved the life of an old lady with dementia all right just hang on okay cuz we're going to carry you over to the helicopter all right three yep yep yep yep yep yep watch that bottom on May 15th 2022 officers were dispatched in response to a report of a missing and endangered woman the woman who was in her 60s and suffered from demeure had left her house the day before and had not been seen since then the officers wasted no time and used all their resources to look for her including Aviation units and a trained K9 the K9 applied skill and precision and soon it led to something that made the search team pick up their Pace just get up under hold on to your water okay hey we're going to try to carry it to the other side of the fence okay what's what's your name again all right just hang on okay cuz we're going to carry you over to the helicopter all right all right we're going to go on three all right one two three step sorry take just break just SEC you want me to get that are you able to SP up at all two three yep the woman's state was awful but the officers tried their best to get her the help she needed givey you want to get her feet and I'll get this to the hospital where she received the care she needed before being reunited with her family thanks to the incredible instincts and training of the K9 a life was saved proving once again why dogs are invaluable members of the team moving on to an utterly dumb burglar who thought it was a bright idea to hide from a k9 stand still get on the stand get on the floor on a fateful day police were called to Dobby's garden center after reports of a burglary in program he was caught on CCTV stealing charity tins from the tills and filling the trollies with goods from the shop the suspect thought he could hide but officers had other plans as they Unleashed a k9 to sniff him out he couldn't fathom what was coming to him place off some of the dog stand still place off some of the dog stand still was sentenced to one year in prison the final case takes us to duth where yet another dumb suspect tried to run from arrest only to be greeted by a can9 get on the the keep on going stop moving stop moving your hands behind your back on June 8th 2022 a neighboring agency alerted duth officers about a suspect they had been chasing who had fled into duth the police department quickly began their search through camera monitors until they spotted the exact vehicle on Peach Tree Industrial Boulevard but before officers could catch up the suspect ditched the car and took off on foot thinking he could outsmart them with no time to waste the officers released their K9 what happened next was about to make things go from bad to worse for the suspect hey there's a guy straight in front of us with no shirt on hiding in the woods show me your hands galz let me see your hands he's running St we got one running out of the woods near the neighborhood open the door know the girl the dog it's going be his fank mail no shirt black pants on the ground the go hey let me see your hand let me your hand come out of that car let me see your hand under crawl out I'll the car now do it now out do not county jail with no further incident
