people were saying I mean from from the 100 mile marker they were calling about a red yes and so when you pulled in here you made a VAR I'm not going to do that you're not going to do what not going and you are now lawfully detained so please step out of the vehicle that as the deputies attempt to reason with her the woman becomes increasingly resistant and refuses to comply with their instructions despite their efforts to deescalate the situation she remains defiant and questions their Authority so we've given you several lawful orders for you to step out of the car you're refusing those orders and I'm telling you to get out of the car right now she's telling me to get out of the car right now like for what because I'm conducting a DUI investigation that's why DUI yes seriously deputies make the decision to place a spit mask over Deborah's head a measure taken to prevent her from spitting at them or causing harm despite efforts to work with Deborah the situation spiraled out of control resulting in her being charged with DUI and resisting arrest following her arrest she pled no contest to the charges and was sentenced to probation along with a suspended license and fines on June 9th 2022 a Hinsdale police officer was in the process of serving an arrest warrant for a domestic violence allegation the suspect 45-year-old Shawn Malarkey was accused of hitting her ex-husband with a car the officer approached the suspect's vehicle vehicle instructing her to step out despite repeated requests the suspect remained inside the car prompting the officer to insist on her compliance hey step out of the car right now get out of the car excuse me step out of the car right now get your hands off you better take your hands off of me right now excuse me get out of the car right now no the situation escalated as the police officer tried to to serve an arrest warrant to the suspect Shawn Malarkey despite multiple requests to step out of the car Malarkey refused claiming her attorney had filed a motion to quash the warrant tensions Rose as Malarkey accused the officer of hitting her and insisted on staying in the vehicle the officer warned of consequences if she made any aggressive moves eventually the officer took action to remove Malarkey from the car emphasizing the need for cooperation and the legal implications of her actions did somebody say that suspect who responded defiantly tensions remained high as the suspect continued to argue and resist the officer's commands a mother in front of hering children but you are somehow he asked you pretty politely to get out he didn't no he didn't were you there the suspect became increasingly frantic and began making false accusations about how the officers had mistreated her despite the officer's attempts to deescalate the situation the suspect persisted in her accusations and threats claiming that her attorney would file charges against them the officers maintained their composure and continued to try to resolve the situation peacefully urging the suspect to listen to their verbal commands you saw my emergency lights before you even got the hey I didn't tell you get out of the car stop kicking us I'm going to kick you right in the as the situation intensified one officer called for agol a restraint device indicating that the suspect was attempting to bite them the suspect then made sarcastic remarks questioning the officer's actions and accusing them of aggression meanwhile another officer radioed in to report that they were transporting a female suspect to the station in response the suspect referred to as Michelle made a casual remark about her watch suggesting a nonchalant attitude despite the circumstances step out where's my watch I have your watch the officers informed Michelle that her watch was with another officer and assured her that it would be taken care of however Michelle seemed skeptical emphasizing that she didn't take anything for granted when asked to exit the car she expressed reluctance mentioning that her hands and feet were tied together making it difficult for her to move that's great can you hop out the car now I don't know you want together and my hands she reminded the officers of her past acts of kindness including serving them food she attempted to manipulate the situation by appealing to their sense of guilt expressing her endangering the health or life of a child as well as misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest these charges stemmed from her third DUI offense with a child passenger and her combative behavior during the arrest additionally she received a citation for transp ation or possession of open alcohol punishable by a fine of up to $1,000 subsequently further charges were filed against her for violation of a bail bond and additional counts of resisting or obstructing an officer while the court case for domestic battery was dropped her legal proceedings in DuPage County remain ongoing indicating the gravity of the charges against her the incident unfolded in Edmund Oklahoma just outside of Oklahoma City on January 2nd around 6:00 in the morning a maintenance employee for a local school was warming up his truck when a woman suddenly hopped inside and drove off multiple officers quickly responded and began pursuing the stolen vehicle body camera footage captured the intense Chase as The Woman Led police through the streets eventually she drove into a dance studio parking lot where officers attempted to apprehend her despite their commands she refused to comply even going as far as to lie down on her stomach seemingly indifferent to the situation as the pursuit unfolded officers provided realtime updates over the radio detailing the movements of the stolen truck dash camera footage captured the tense moments as the woman maneuvered the vehicle erratically ultimately pulling into a parking lot and then onto a lawn without hesitation she accelerated crashing directly into a squad car the impact was clearly audible on the body camera footage of the officer whose vehicle was struck as the officers approached they repeatedly commanded the woman to show her her hands and exit the truck instead she defiantly refused even shouting for the officers to shoot her ignoring their orders to get on her stomach she provocatively lifted her shirt further escalating the already volatile Force body camera footage depicted the intense moments as both officers repeatedly demanded the woman to show her hands and exit the vehicle simultaneously dash camera footage captured the woman's provocative action of exposing herself in response both officers discharged their stun guns the situation quickly turned into a struggle as the officers attempted to restrain the woman and place her in handcuffs despite their efforts the suspect resisted and uttered disturbing statements including a suggestion that they would have to kill her before trailing off followed by repeated calls to kill them put your hands behind your back I got you got her after a struggle officers managed to get the woman who now identified herself as Stephanie in handcuffs they assured her that she hadn't been shot just tazed but she continued to resist during a pat down Stephanie insisted she had a gun shot wound even though officers reiterated that she had only been tased despite their attempts to calm her down and provide assistance she remained agitated claiming that she had been shot in the past and had reported it to the police uh we did taser let's roll her to her side what's your namey what's examined by paramedics during this time officers asked for her date of birth but she seemed uncooperative meanwhile other officers at the scene discussed the events that led to the suspect hitting one
