department faced a $400,000 lawsuit listing counts of battery assault with a deadly weapon infliction of emotional distress and gross negligence however the outcome of the lawsuit is unknown but what's more in the shadow is the reason why this 35-year-old man had to end up in a k9's Jaws as soon as he woke up do nothing but still get bitten Jason Wyrick on the morning of April 4th 2020 police raided Jason wyrick's home without any warrant or probable cause the situation that could be handled professionally and peacefully was deliberately escalated into a serious incident I'm a minor I lawsuit Jason's case gained a lot of sympathy and support which led the Wyrick family to win the case and $1.35 million too however Jason wants the K9 Deputy fired instead of being paid for injuries that left him with severe injuries cops are the part of a larger Authority and have a duty to perform to protect with any means possible in dire circumstances however in some situations carrying out the same protocols is not the best way to tackle that situation even though lawsuits are filed and cases are made on them the occurrence of such events has become common regardless and that is concerning we can only hope the future will be better than this
