welcome back to the DUI Channel we are in the city of Paynesville Ohio where on New Year's Day 2023 at 3:40 a.m. an Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper observed a white 2009 Honda Civic traveling out of the lane of travel while heading westbound on State Route 2 The Trooper eventually activated his emergency lights and pulled the vehicle over on the Richmond Street overpass once the car came to a stop the trooper exited his Patrol vehicle and approached the suspect as his investigation begins morning how you doing good where you headed to just heading on D or Dro it off okay all right do you for me the results of the evidentiary breath test yielded 2000 G ethanol per 210 L of breath two days later the suspect Clayton was charged with driving in marked lanes and two counts of operating vehicle under the influence of alcohol or OVI on January 31st 2023 30 days after the arrest the defendant pleaded guilty to one count of OVI with the remaining charges dismissed including a $650 fine he was ordered to pay a total of $971 this amount has been paid in full Clayton was further sentenced to 180 days in jail with 177 days suspended 6 months of probation a license suspension of 6 months ordered to attend a driver Intervention Program for 3 Days jail credit submit to a drug and alcohol evaluation and ordered to install Uber or lift on his phone
