This man has just been brutally stabbed by a ruthless attacker, but just as the investigation begins, a shocking truth unravels, turning everything on its head. >> Back to Clancy, okay? Okay, with what? >> I don't know who's the lady that's living with him. She just moved in and he came over the other day and told me she was schizophrenic. And he wanted to get her out of the house. >> He is mad at me because I didn't give him sexual pleasure. >> The following footage you're about to see has never been seen before. >> 911, what is the address of the emergency? >> Um, yes. I came out to check on my neighbor. He didn't come out at 7:00 cuz he was thrown sudden brawl out. He's dead. He actually come out at 7:00. >> Okay, so it looks like he just passed away? >> No. He's He's bloody. It's coming out from his mouth. >> or outside the residence? >> He was covered with plastic. So, I think she did it. >> In the evening of March 8th, 2026, a frantic 911 call sends Charlotte County officers racing to Punta Gorda, Florida, but they're unaware that what awaits them is far more brutal and tangled than they could have imagined. >> Okay. Just stay over here. >> [snorts] >> He's gone. Still pulse? He's He's still warm. So, I don't know. We found no pulse, but he is warm. No, no rigor. Not yet. No, he's still warm. No, this is how we found him. >> Officers find the victim, 76-year-old Paul Dewayne Bradley, lying in a pool of blood with multiple stab wounds, and they're unable to understand who did this to him. As paramedics fight to save his life, and the dangerous suspect still on the loose, officers fan out across the area, desperately searching for clues. >> Where does it start, right there? Comes up here? >> All right, it started here and all the way up there. >> All right, just make sure we start documenting everything. >> I can see the patrol said that he was covered completely by the the plastic when she got here. >> Yeah. >> She removed it to see his face. Were you the first one on scene? >> Yeah, I removed it. Just I What are you doing over here if you don't mind me asking? >> So, um we had a community sale today, and we talked to each other on the street right there, and he said he he had to kick out this new girl that he brought in to help him around here. And I guess the sheriff was out here earlier today. So, he asked me to come by at 7:00 to see if she had left yet or not. >> Okay. >> Well, I So, I called at quarter till to let him know I was on my way. When I got here, the truck was gone. But, I seen that door open. >> He's around back right here. Yeah, just watch the blood. >> So, I seen the door open, so I stopped because it's never open. He's not here. So, I stopped, and then I noticed those two were open, so I'm like I took video. I'm like, "Paul, where are you?" I'm like, "Well, I'm going to check it out cuz the door is open." And then I seen his scooter back there as well, blood. >> Okay. And it's >> And then I'm like, "I'm going to call" >> there, guys. Watch out. >> And then I decided I'm going to follow the blood trail because I thought, "Oh, accident she took him to the hospital cuz his truck's missing. >> Mhm. >> So and that >> So his scooter is over here and he's over there laying in the >> He's got two scooters. That one probably quit cuz it looks like he got on the other one and come up this way. >> Yeah. >> And spun around and then got up in there >> But um >> Okay. >> One his truck's missing. Yeah. It's not here. Two, he was covered in plastic. >> Okay. >> The sheeting was over him. >> The plastic sheeting was? Okay. >> I pulled it back to to make sure it was him cuz I seen his foot but I had to make sure it was >> Okay. >> And that's >> Okay. >> That's >> We were out here earlier today for a dispute between this gentleman and his caregiver. They shifted with it. I don't know what exactly the report came of it. Um The neighbor who's friends with him came [snorts] by or was driving by. She lives down the street and saw that his garage door was open and his truck was gone. >> The sudden realization hits hard as officers realize police have already been to this address that morning after the victim and a woman living there were involved in a domestic dispute. As Paul is rushed to the hospital, officers begin connecting the events of that morning to the bloodshed unfolding now. But what they don't know is that their earlier visit holds a crucial piece of the puzzle and will raise more questions than answers. >> You Paul? >> Yeah. >> This caretaker, is she someone you hired or is it a friend or what's the >> going to hire and I try her met her down and uh I don't know if she called gay or something. >> Okay. >> And uh She recommended her cuz she was a nice girl, you know. >> Okay. >> And I said well, we'll give her a try. And uh after 3 days all I see was pulling. I said look, she ain't going to go nowhere but down. >> What do you mean pulling like what what is she doing? So I get that she's not like really taking care of you, but what else is she doing? >> Nothing. >> Nothing? So, she's just doing nothing? So, you So, you have her here to help you, but you're taking care of yourself basically. >> hours. >> Okay. >> And I had to send one of my caretakers with her to do some stuff, you know. >> Okay. >> So, that's all she's worth is two hours. >> Okay. >> But, she was a former chef and she makes me good meals, don't get me wrong. But, that's all she does. >> So, she's just cooking for you, that's all she's doing. >> Yeah. >> What do you want to happen today? Do you want her out of here? >> out of here. >> After speaking with Paul, officers turned to 48-year-old Shannon Rose Giblin, the woman involved in the dispute, but her account of the argument is about to change everything. >> So, your first name is Shannon? >> Shannon Rose Giblin. >> The reason I'm here and the reason he called me is he says that you're not really doing a good job taking care of him and helping him out. >> I have a whole log because I'm very wise woman. I have a log in my room of all the things that I've done and I'm going to tell you the truth, sir. >> Okay. >> He And the girl that got me this job knows this, too. You can talk to her about it. He is mad at me because I didn't give him sexual pleasure. >> So, you are cooking him meals? >> Of course I am. >> Do you cook him meals every day, every night, or what's going >> make him breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I just boiled eggs yesterday. And you can look in the fridge. This place is disgusting. You can look in my room, my bathroom, and in the kitchen. That kitchen was disgusting when I first got here and I completely organized it. >> So, what about other caretaking cuz he said like >> I make sure he gets his meds at 9:00 every morning. Make sure he gets his meds at 9:00 every night. Okay, I give him his his baths and his and his bath >> right now and he said that you weren't helping him take care of it. There's blood all over his chair. >> That must have just happened while I was sleeping. >> Um I'm just saying the blood did look a little old, like it had been a while. >> Well, there's a difference between lying and then also what I saw. That's what I'm I know >> He wants me out of here because I am not >> is you need to get out of here, okay? I'm not going to force you out the door, but it's clear that this isn't Okay, yeah, no, you're good. It's clear that this isn't working out. >> The officer had managed to send her away earlier that day, and now the question looms, was she really the suspect or was something more at play? At the moment, officers are left to piece together what had happened. Back at the crime scene, officers piece together scattered accounts of locals. One neighbor provides a clear and chilling narrative, shifting everything they thought they knew. >> Hey, ma'am, just stay back here for me, okay? >> But >> I've been helping him forever. I I'm the one who came and cleaned his house and took care of him and >> All right, stay back there for me, please. >> a heart attack a long >> Okay. Okay. All right, we'll be talking to you shortly, okay? But just stay back there for now cuz this is an active crime scene, okay? Okay. What's what? >> I don't know who's the lady that's living with him. She just moved in and he came over the other day and told me she was schizophrenic and he wanted to get her out of the house. >> Yeah, cuz see, that's what we were supposed to be here at 7:00 to help him make sure she goes and >> You, too? >> Um any any description you can, um you know, I I don't exactly know the type of questions that the detectives are going to ask, but uh >> Well, I never met her. >> Okay. >> I just saw her >> So I think it >> I knew there was some people kind of rotating through here cuz he had caretakers. >> Yeah. >> So >> Was she a caretaker or was she more of a companion, roommate? >> allowed her to live in his house. >> Okay. Was she staying here? >> Okay. Okay. >> She was staying here. >> I think she was >> Okay. >> Probably. >> And then he was having a panic attack when you guys came out here. >> I can't tell you how many times especially older older people get taken advantage of for that, you know. >> what I have. >> You know, there'll be somebody that's down on their luck and their heart's in the right place. They're trying to do the right thing and I'll help you, you help me and then they wind up getting taken advantage of. >> And we had this conversation. It's like Paul, you need to don't go on the cheap. You need to find somebody through somebody that has a background check that you can that you can do that and you you know, that's part of it, but you can't just put somebody down on their luck cuz you have no clue. >> No. No. Yeah. I wish I wish he would have listened to you. >> Just as the pieces of the puzzle finally begin to fall into place, they receive heartbreaking news. Paul is declared dead. Now, the case turns into a homicide and the killer still remains at large, bringing more urgency than ever. But then, one sudden call reveals a darker side of the suspect they never knew existed, turning the case on its head. >> Okay, so I'm I'm Shannon's sister and I wanted to tell the detectives that she has a history of harming herself and trying to blame other people. >> Oh, okay. >> She has She has actually gotten men locked up and bragged about it in the past. We Our family has been dealing with her psychosis for like 30 years for like 30 years. >> So, she does she self-harms but blames somebody else? >> Yes, and she She said you don't know a lot about the case. She literally stabbed some poor old veteran to death, I guess, yesterday. >> Mhm. >> Is what I'm I'm I'm I'm just going off what I've seen on the news and on Facebook. >> Mhm. >> Um so, as soon as a family member noticed the scratches, I was thinking to myself, "Oh my god, she's going to sit there and try to say it was self-defense and he did that to her. So, I'm literally calling to be like, y'all need to check tell the detectives, they need to check under her fingernails. >> Oh, okay. >> And they will probably find her own skin cells, I'm telling you. >> Okay. >> She is diabolical. You have no freaking clue. Um and another thing that they need to know is that I spoke to the boyfriend that just escaped from her. Like, he could have been the next victim, but his daughters were like, you need to get the hell out of there. Because he would wake up in the middle of the night, and she would be standing over him with a butcher knife and saying she was going to kill him. >> Where's that Where's ex-boyfriend? Or how long ago was that? >> This was literally he left um it was right around the end of January. He literally high-tailed it across the state of Florida to get away from her, cuz his daughter lives on the other coast. I know his name, and um I've met him maybe twice >> Yeah. >> over the years, but um I can give you his name. >> What's his name? >> And his name is Tom. >> Okay. >> Last name is Watson. He left for his own safety. He felt really bad for her because he knows that she's like really sick. >> Yeah. >> And so, he was still in contact with her. And um he's he was on the phone with her on Sunday before this happened. And she was telling him, and I know this is hearsay or it's you know, you guys can ask him all this yourself. She was telling him that she was going to kill the guy before she killed him. So, that's not It's saying in the news it's second-degree >> Tom told you this, or you >> I'm I'm sorry? >> Did Tom tell you all this? >> He did and I'm just saying because I think it's relevant that they need to talk to this guy, Tom. >> Okay. With Shannon Rose Giblin identified as the prime suspect, Charlotte County deputies track her to Sarasota County where she's found inside the victim's truck. Under questioning, she admits to stabbing Paul Bradley during a dispute and fleeing the scene in his vehicle. Shannon is charged with second-degree murder and grand theft of a motor vehicle. She is being held without bond and awaiting trial.
