She was described as short, wearing a blue jacket and pants. Upon arrival, officers spotted a woman matching the description near taco heaters and approached her. Waving her arms and claiming she was just picking up garbage. She had more excuses than a kid caught with undone homework. The knife nowhere in sight. But her denial was sharper than any blade. She flopped to the ground like a fish out of water, turning the pavement into her own chaotic stage. A whole squad of officers wrestled to cuff her while she tried to spit and bite like a cornered animal. Props to the cops for handling this mess. If I were in their place, it would have definitely been my last day on the job. Yep. Get some weight on my leg. There you go. >> Stop. No. You stop. Heat. follow. >> Ashley was a onewoman wrecking crew, thrashing as officers tried to secure her to the stretcher. They kept it careful, belts loose, but she wasn't having any of it. The scene was total pandemonium. Her own defiance stacking up injuries like trophies. Maybe next time, a deep breath and a little cooperation could have kept her from turning a bad situation into a full-on disaster. The female was charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
