They do not have the documents ready for you right now. And that's the end of it. That's it. Cool. Okay. What? What was it? >> Cuz they don't have an address or a place to send it to. >> Can you give her one? >> Why? They already told me. I have to leave. Just come outside. >> I don't No, I I don't want No, I >> We're going to wait outside and she's going to print it up while we're here. I thought she just said wait outside. Go wait the [ __ ] outside and she'll print it for you. >> Yes, daddy. >> Wait. >> Are you going to wait for the documents or not? Hello. >> Oh my god. >> [snorts] >> you all right? >> No, I just want to wait. Listen, >> can you listen for one second? She said it was going to take a few minutes, but the way you were acting, they didn't want to do it while you were here. So, now that we're here, they'll do it while we wait outside with you. Okay. >> I don't >> They don't You know what? Do you have a job? Thank you, officer. I will wait right here. >> Oh my god. >> But suddenly, miraculously, that urgently disappears as Karina exits the parking lot. When you came back, >> I'm [snorts] just waiting for the paper that they said that they were just about to bring out. >> Yeah. And then you left. So, we thought you left. >> No, I left to go for a walk so I can calm down. I didn't leave. But you told me to come back in here when everything was done. Can you just sit just sit down and we'll get your documents here in a minute? >> Wait. I'll go for another walk again and wait. Okay. No, no, don't go for a walk. Just stay here. I don't need you walking around everywhere. I need to find where you're at so we can just give you the documents. I'm sure it'll be just another >> Come back when the documents are done and I can go for a walk until then. I don't understand why it's a problem for me to just step outside and go for a walk. >> Okay. Can you just step outside and just wait there? Cuz once they get the documents, we can just hand it to you. I can't be here all day while you're going on a walk. >> You don't have to be here all day. I can come back in a few minutes when the paperwork is done. I don't understand why that's a problem. Okay. Can you just stay here for a one minute and then we'll get you your documents. Okay. >> I don't understand why. >> You're making a bigger You're making a bigger issue. >> I'm not trying to make an issue. I'm not trying to make a problem. I'm just Why can't I go for a walk until this is done? Why do I have to >> How much longer until the documents are ready? >> Okay. >> So, can I go for a walk until it's done? >> No. Stay here or we're going to be trespassing you from here. I can give you a call first and then when they're done, I can call you and we can come here together if you want. >> Just stay here for a minute. >> I don't want to do that. I just want to leave so that way I can go and finish what I had to do today. >> They're working on it [music] >> and they're taking a long time. So, I can't go for a walk cuz I have to go fill out an application and an interview right now. >> Okay. You You left. Okay. We saw you leave. I hung out here for another 5 minutes. That's not my fault. >> And that Okay, that's fine. So, I went to go and take care of, but I had to take care of it and I came back so that way I can get the paper. >> You can let us know what you're doing just so we know, hey, you're coming back cuz I was about to leave and then they were going to have to call me back out here again. I'm trying to get a hold of this. >> Bring your other hand. >> You don't have to grab my hand. You know, I have to shove my arm like that. That's unnecessary force. Ow. >> He literally just grabbed my hair, ran my head to the side, and then grabbed my arm to the side for no reason. >> 93. Slow everyone else down. She's in custody. >> She's in custody. >> Oh, yeah. [snorts] The >> double locked. >> The threat. >> The threat is attained. >> We're on the >> Good for you guys. I just wanted to go to my house. >> No. What you wanted to do was grab me from behind when I was leaving. >> From behind? >> Going to jail. >> What do you mean from behind? >> 1 2 3. >> Nope. That's right. From behind. >> I would like an officer with a with a with a license. >> I did not try to grab him from behind. We're not doing it >> any body cam. What the do you guys mean? >> She's got nothing on her. >> I have nothing on me. He got overturned by me being a big girl. >> She's good. Yeah, >> that's fine. >> Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. She's not double locked. Let her double lock. >> I need badge numbers of each of you. Badge numbers for Richard. >> Badge numbers. Name numbers. >> Hey, listen. >> I don't give a what you were doing to me is un >> unreal. Resisting you, man. >> What you were doing to me right now is unreal. I don't give a who you are or what you look like. What you were doing to me right now is not okay. >> We're trying to check for you for >> I'm trying to go to my house which is behind me. I have no weapons. I asked him if I could park in my >> Let's go. Stop. >> Oh, I asked if I I could park in my spot. >> Sit down. That's it. It's over. It's over. Just sit down. >> I'm fine. I'm fine. >> Sit down, guys. >> Sit. Please just sit down. All right. It's over. That's it. >> It's over. You're going You're going to sit down. I know. I'm going to jail. Sit down. My dog needs to be taken out. >> Sit down >> because he attacked me. I'm going to jail. >> You will get another charge with your feet. >> Tell me why I'm going to jail right now. >> Why? >> For battery once. >> What did I do to him? >> Ma'am, I did nothing to him. >> I did nothing to him. >> You were all going to jail for battery. >> Maybe. Maybe later. >> I'm going to sue you all. Moments later, one officer fills us in on what allegedly happened. >> Copy that, sir. Thank you. You're going back to one. >> Yeah. I uh still rolling. It's a parking violation. >> She's going on. >> She was the one that called about >> She's the one that called. She lives here. >> She says, "Uh, I leave at 10:00 in the morning. These people are parking here." I said, "Ma'am, that's not the patrons from Vixens. You know, the spot is here now." She start getting real close. I said, "Listen, stop. I can smell alcohol on your breath, okay? You're going to leave the car there cuz you don't want to go to jail." She says, "Take me to jail." I said, "No, I'm leaving. Have a nice night." Go to get in my car. She grabbed me from behind. So, I had to push her up against the sign. She keeps reaching like in her pocket and then it's like jerking her arms away. I had to take her down to the damn ground and then I was in a stalemate. I couldn't move her on. >> I don't know what the hell. The officer continues telling his side of the story before Michelle makes another appearance. >> Hey, sorry. >> Oh, yeah. >> I didn't know if I had the crowd and I knocked my earpiece out of my ear. That's why I couldn't hear the bird. >> I um came here just like I am now. She's here talking about she's can't park here because she's blocked. I said, "No, it's not blocked." The guy from Vixens walks over. She's complaining that, >> okay, when I leave at 10 o'clock in the morning, I can't move because the victim's people are here. >> I've tried several times to tell her, "Ma'am, if it's 10:00 in the morning, it's not Vixon's employees." >> Right? >> And she's going on a tangent with this guy about when you asked permission before you moved in, I said this, and that. So, I told the victim's guy, I said, "Look, this has nothing to do with you. You can go, sir." So, I tell her, I said, "Ma'am, the spot is empty." She's going on about, "Well, what do I do when I can't get to work?" I said, "Look, it's okay. You can you the spot is empty now. You'll be able to get out." She's like, "No, no." She's losing her mind back there again. So, finally, she's real close. I said, "Listen, leave your vehicle there. I can smell the alcohol on your breath. You're interrupting me. We're done here. Okay? You're not blocked. We're done." She's like, "Arest me." I said, "I'm not going to arrest you. I'm leaving. I'm leaving. What's your name and your badge number?" I said, "I'm leaving. back away. I go to get in my car. She grabs me from behind. So I turn around, push her against that sign. She keeps reaching down by her bag. I grab her bag. I said, "Stop reaching. Stop reaching." And then she starts screaming, "Help me. Help me. Help me. Help me." I said, "Stop. Stop. Stop." She kept fighting. I had to take her down to the ground and just hold her there. And that's why that's why I was trying to say 10:13, but I was my earpiece wasn't hanging out of my ear. All the crowd started coming around. She's like, "Get your knee out of my back." I said, "It's not in your back. It's on the ground." >> Other guy was like, "Hey, he's not hurting you. Just stop." And she was just screaming bloody murder. Bloody murder. Help me. 911. All this other crap. So said, "Okay, you're going to jail." Yo. So that was the gist of it. I have no idea how that went from a parking violation to that. No injuries on me. >> That's what I'm obviously most concerned about. >> No, not none at all. Local. >> Uh, yeah. She lives here. >> She's still listed as but she said she lives here and that's why she parks here. So that went from zero to 100 >> when I told her we can you guys help me get out one way or the other. >> We're going to leave in a minute here, sir. Um, so yeah, I went from zero to 100 in like a second when I told her I was leaving. There's no parking violation, man. I'm leaving. And that's when she lost it. So, I just pinned her down because I didn't know if I had the crowd or not, and I was able to hold her back. And some of the people here were like, "He's not hurting you. Just put your hands behind your back." She's screaming for badge number and you and all this other she can go. >> Sure. I'm sorry. Give me the injuries on there's back and try to pull him back from the vault. >> Pretty loud. Is there any reason they jumped on this officer's back and try to pull him away after he told you he was done? >> When this officer when I This officer car. >> Yes. After all of that was done, he said he's leaving. Is there any reason he can come and grab him the way you did? >> No, I didn't grab him the way I did. Do you have a video? >> Sure that he does. >> Why are handcuffs in the front? >> I didn't put them in the front. >> No, they weren't in the front. >> She slipped them. >> Well, let's fix that. Take her off to jail. >> She's going to want to fight me. >> You have no words. >> All right. We're going to be taking you out of the car to put your handcuffs behind your back again. >> Okay. If you decide to resist again, it's going to work out poorly for you. I promise. >> See every single badge number, every single >> You'll have all They'll all be on your arrest every single turn around. >> That's fine. Every single name, every single badge number that's listed on this, >> the officer that said that I touched him also. >> Yeah, absolutely. While officers prepare to get Michelle on her way to jail, she shares some not so kind words for officers. >> Yeah, absolutely. Unhook. >> All right, ma'am. I know this handcuffs. >> Yes, sir. Absolutely. Completely understand. >> Right. >> Yeah. Let's go. >> I want you guys to understand that I'm taking this to the bulk of the wall. >> This was obviously like one kind of free pass for moving him up to the front. If you do that again, you're going to have an additional charge. Do not move your handcuffs to your phone again. >> Yes, sir. But >> I will like charge you till the full extend the law. Like, you guys, I did nothing wrong. >> If I can put you in jail, I'm going to put you in jail for the rest of your life. >> You're not going to be able to >> I hate you and I hope that you die. Like, you guys are the worst. I'm just trying to go home. >> Get put your foot in. >> What did I do wrong? >> Put your foot in the car. >> What did I do wrong? >> I'm not going to tell you again. Put your foot in the car. >> That's what I did wrong. Slam the door on my leg and break it. Seat belt on. >> Yeah. >> Do it. Lollipop. >> Can you turn your head? >> No. Can you? >> I don't know how. >> Thanks for looking out for us, guys. Really? Uh, instructing the justice on the society that it needs, huh? >> Putting the bad people away. >> I hope every single one of you guys gets cancer of the epidermis. I hope you guys too. >> Wow, she's fun. >> Next, Michelle arrives at the jail where she's not exactly calming down. Okay, ma'am. We're going to come out. Let me take off your seat belt and we're going to walk through that door that's open over there. Okay. Let go of the seat belt, man. Let go of the seat belt. >> I don't know who the you are. Where the I am. Officer Beerbar, Key West Police Department. >> I want recording of where I am. >> My body cam is >> No, I don't. I don't trust you. >> You're refusing to get out. >> I went >> You refusing to get out of the vehicle. >> Please record. >> Hey, sir. Refusing to exit. Can I have a CO come down, please? >> Thank you. Soon enough, correctional officers arrived to help Michelle out of the patrol car. >> She She's battery Elio all over the place. Now she's refusing to get out. Huh? >> Battery on. >> Battery on Leo. >> Yeah. And she's now refusing to get out of the vehicle. >> Okay, Miss Jackson. >> There you go. I want his name in his >> back. Make it worse. >> He pull me down. I want his name when you get inside, man. He's coming inside. >> He's the one who said >> I'm scared, dude. What do you want me to do? I'm scared. >> I'm okay with that. talking to my head the me and I don't know what's going on. [laughter] I'm a nice girl and this guy was just there for he was parked in my spot. No. No. I'm a >> No. >> I am a person who is like >> I'm I'm a minister to society in what way? >> I don't understand. >> Will you just kill me, please? What the is this? >> It doesn't make sense. >> It doesn't make any sense. The life as a human is >> definitely a single. Michelle was booked for battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest. She's expected back in court this winter. >> You do something to this like somebody who's been through AA for years. Yeah, I know. So, sir, >> I know so this past where the just going to walk up and let me in my room. Get the away. I'm so tired of everybodying. Just got away from you, you stupid motherucker. I swear. >> It's after 1000 p.m. at a hotel in Crystal Lake, Illinois, where one woman's temper is about to earn her a different accommodation for the night. >> There's not going to be any more yelling. >> No, just try to keep I just want to go to my room. I just >> negative. So now what I'm going to do is take my time and do this. The steps that I need to take. I'm not going to do this based off your demands. >> Right. >> You're not going to yell at me and tell me what >> I'm not yelling at you. I'm yelling at him. >> All right, I understand that. But there's steps. Police identify the woman seen here as 35-year-old Hannah Shepard, who's complaining about her hotel key card not working. >> He can simply go up and open the door for me. It's right up the stairs. It's right up the stairs. Right up. >> Okay, hold on one second. We're going to I'm going to wait. >> I'm doing everything I can to do everything. Are you crying? You look like you were crying. >> What? >> Are you crying? You look like you were crying. >> Me? No, I'm just tired. It's been a long day and I don't want to be yelled at. I don't either. >> And I don't want to deal with somebody who's treating somebody else like because their card's not working. >> Moments later, another officer arrives. >> I cannot hear what he's saying if you keep on yelling. >> Let him talk. >> Right. I'm sorry. You can talk to him quick. Just let him talk. >> No, I want to do with Sanders. Oh, >> the officer is probably a little more levelheaded than I am right now because again, I just raised my voice and I normally don't do that. >> The way you were talking to him and demanding and making all these demands doesn't work that way. So, right now, do me a favor, talk with her. I'm going to see you by the card. I'm going to see what happened and then we're going to go upstairs and get you in your room. >> Just get me in the room. >> Cannot. >> I'm not taking your demands. Can I talk to you here, please? I paid for the room, Sanders. >> Okay, you paid for a room, but you're sitting here acting like a >> not >> I didn't call the cops. >> Nope. Just step away. >> I got to sit here with you, but I'll keep quiet. >> Just get me in my room. I'm ready to go. >> That's what they're trying to do. >> And that's what they're going to do cuz he has no reason why not to let me in the >> But there's something there's some miscommunication or something. And that's what Sanders trying to do. >> Over and over and over again, >> right? He's trying to help you. Stay here. Yeah, people I stay up in the steps where the going to walk up and let me in my room. >> Why are you being mean? >> You have no idea. >> Hannah retreats to a stairwell where the stairs aren't the only thing escalating the situation. >> You need to figure out what's going on here. Excuse me. Stay in the hallway. >> Okay, I will just I I'm trying to do. That's what I >> talk to. This guy's a smarter than me. I understand, but there's steps and I got to talk to him and get that key card. So, please do me a favor. >> Let's all breathe. >> You need to breathe because she says you were moving. I come out freaking out. So, you need to do what she says. >> My room that I paid for. >> One officer gets Hannah a new key card to try and resolve this issue. Let's see how that goes. >> I said, "Please >> open my room, Sam. Open my room." >> No. >> Let's see if it works. >> You can do it. >> Let's see if it works. >> I said please. >> Don't leave. >> I said please and he gave it to me. Okay, then stand right here. >> I'll go up there with you. I'll go up there and make sure it works. But I I was calm. I was polite. And he gave it to me without even without any issue. >> You're in here demanding, ordering, yelling, cursing, screaming. That doesn't get you nowhere. >> All right. Ready? >> Yeah. Here, let me see. Go ahead. Okay. Okay. You Okay. >> Freaking out. >> Okay. Well, hold on. Wait. Wait. Wait. Hold on. Wait. Wait. Wait a minute. >> Wait a minute. Wait. Wait. It was backwards. All right. >> All right. Hold up. Hold up. >> There it is. >> It was backwards. Hannah, >> you heard that right. The key card was inserted backwards, preventing Hannah from entering a room. Problem solved. Not exactly. >> Hannah, are you okay? >> No. Come here. Come here. Come on. Come inside. Come on. Come inside. Come inside. Hannah, come on. Come on. Come inside. Come inside. Come sit down on the bed. [laughter] Here. Take the car. >> Hannah, please. Hannah. Hannah. Hannah. Hannah. >> Can you just help me? >> Come here. I will. Come here. Come here. Come here. Come here. Come here. Come on. Let's go inside your room. Come on. Come on. Come on. Hannah, please. Stop. Hannah. Don't do that. Don't do that. Don't do that. Don't do that. >> I've got tomorrow. >> See, Crystal, >> no. Don't come. >> No. No. No. No. Stop. Stop. There's no way. >> See, Chris Lake can tell me. You can only one that tell me. >> I tried. >> I don't want anybody else. >> Can we get fire on location, please? Our subject was just hitting her hitting herself with the side of the head. >> Stop. Hannah, stop. >> You're going You're I'm sorry. I got fire here. >> Police call medics to the scene after Hannah was seen hitting herself. In the meantime, one officer tries his best to reason with the 35-year-old. >> I am Spyro. Don't tell me. You told me to. >> I tried, but you're you're Listen. We have to take steps right now to calm yourself down. In order for it to happen, you have to do something about that. One [snorts] step at a time. First step is getting out of this hallway. >> All right. I want them to go away. >> No, my boss is here. He's going to make sure everything's okay. And she's here cuz she's my partner. >> I know, but you all these things. This is it. >> You have to move forward in a positive way. And this is not a positive way. The card was backwards. You're getting frustrated. You can't treat people like >> you're not treating anybody like the >> guy downstairs. You were just screaming at them. >> Listen, I hate them. I hate everybody. >> Okay. Can we go inside the hallway so it's more private for you? Can we go I'm sorry. I just >> You can't do that. Unfortunately, that's not your choice. >> Wait, your card. >> He's going to tell me what to do. >> Yes, he tells me what to do. >> I know. I don't want the card now. Just please, just please back up a little bit. Someone give me some air. My god. >> Can you open the window? >> I'm going to go stand by the fire, tell her things going on, custom history. >> The officer Hannah is referring to as Sanders leaves the room. And it soon becomes clear she has a let's just say thing for that officer. >> He's such a good guy. My knee's just like it up. I just I don't know. My knees. Okay. >> All right. Back up. Back up. >> I haven't moved. Hannah. >> No. And Sanders knows. He knows. He knows. He knows. I hope he's okay. That's all. That's the crying backwards. That's all it was. That's all it was. I just hope he's okay. I know his mom's in the bathroom. >> Oh, there he is. He's okay. >> Police say Hannah is familiar with the officer after he was involved in her DUI arrest just weeks before this incident. Now, as EMTs arrive, our hotel hothead is doing anything but cooling down. >> Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. >> I'm sorry. reports. >> All right, one of the paramedics. >> N [clears throat] Shut up. I'm not I'm not any closer to you, but I need to know what's going on so that I can leave. Okay. If you want me to go, I'll be happy to go. >> But I need to know what go. I just >> I'm not getting any closer. >> I hope it's okay. I do need to be me and >> Okay. Come sit right here. >> All right. What's your name, my dear? >> No. Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. They everybody should know my name by now. What's my name? What's my name? What's my name? What's my name? Back up. Back up. Back up. All right, you're getting closer to me. I'm not doing it. >> Hannah refuses to talk to medics, but officials think of one man our suspect might be a little more receptive to cuz she wants you. >> I don't know what I can. >> So, just can you can you relay to her that we can't leave unless she answers our questions, but she needs to be able to talk to us [laughter] or talk to us through. >> Okay. So, Hannah, I don't need to repeat all that. You want me here, okay? I want the best for you. We all do. So, please just answer their questions. And if you answer their questions, they'll leave. >> They'll leave. If you answer their questions, I can't. >> Okay. Well, then they can't. >> There's rule. Basically, what I'm getting now is you don't want to talk to me about your interaction with my officer. >> Why? >> Well, because that's my job to investigate the the use of force and what what what came to that. You know what I mean? I want to know why you and my officers had to fight. >> You what? I'm sorry. >> Okay. All right. Well, I'll just take that as you don't want to talk to me then. Okay. All right. Moments later, one officer heads into the store where we hear some more details on what led up to this incident. >> Thank you. >> You're welcome. >> Hi. Hi. Okay. Oh, they were just asking if you would >> get the uh >> Thank you. >> So, it sounds like you didn't get trespassing on her because she came in here. She was at the service desk and she was telling staff there that she was about to get jumped. So he came over and she said, "You're the one who's going to jump me." And started acting irate. So he told her she needed to leave. She was refusing to leave. That's when he called us. Gotcha. So he asked her to leave multiple times and she was refusing. >> Employees said Mary was telling staff she was going to get quote jumped before refusing to leave. A review of surveillance footage also allegedly showed a bystander who police believe was involved in the incident. And that man is right here. 91 still out here. He's associated. >> Yeah. So, he was about to jump on the ambo. He said kept saying, "Stop hitting her. Seconds later, officers approached the bystander. Let's see what he has to say. Okay. Cuz >> you got some ID, boss. >> Yeah. >> Hey, do you have any weapons on you? >> No. Bring your hands back behind your back. Y'all just stopped me for nothing. >> No, we didn't stop you. Not for nothing. Because we believe you were related to what's going on. >> I wasn't with her. >> That's why we stopped you. That's why we're trying to figure out what's going on. >> I wasn't with her. I promise I wasn't. I'm waiting for my family. I can call them right now. They about to pick me up in like another 20 minutes. I ain't had nothing to do with that situation. >> Okay. >> I swear to God I didn't. >> Y'all just stopped me because I was in front of the store. Why would I stay here if I did something with that? >> That's how you do it. >> Okay. >> So, what about Cinti? >> Any warrants out of Cy? >> I I'm from Cincy. >> Okay. So, we're verifying that right now. You think that's that's good? >> Are you on pro violation out of Sens? >> All right. Police discover why Jamar may have been hiding his identity when he admits to having an active warrant. Next, Jamar explains why he intervened. >> I want all y'all names. Follow. >> Okay. So, now let's circle back to the beginning where you saying you weren't with her. Obviously, you are. >> I want I'm waiting on my ride. I caught my ride right now. They about to pull up. I came over here. I caught the bus and I came over here. My wife about to pick me up. I ain't had none of I ain't come with them. >> All right. I could have went other ways about that. You ain't have to do that. No. I'm going report that. Jamar claims to have been standing up for Mary, an alleged stranger to him during the scuffle. But this good deed does not go unpunished. Before Jamar is taken to jail, officers find a nearby phone the 37year-old says belongs to him. But police are not convinced. >> What kind of phone is it? >> I just got that Obama phone when I got out the >> What's the home screen? You got it. >> Watch your head, man. All right. Jamar is caught in the crosshairs of the incident as he's whisked away to jail for that arrest warrant. Back with Mary, also seated in the back of a patrol car, she surprisingly has some kind words for the officer. >> Smile. >> She said it was pretty. >> Said what? >> I appreciate that. I really appreciate I we could have had this conversation, you know. She said it was pretty. >> All right. Let me show you anything. Right. >> Okay, cool.
