Separate security camera video of the van after the break-in shows them about a mile away in a parking lot. Pictures show flames and smoke coming from inside the van as the suspects attempted to use a blowtorrch to open it. And seconds later, we get a glimpse of the item Andrew allegedly threw before running from police, a pair of wireless headphones. Back with the suspected bandits. Officers decide to separate the pair before questioning. I'm going to talk to you. Okay. >> I have my glasses on blind. So, if you want to switch them out, it's just these. >> Yep. All right. Officers aren't exactly buying Danielle's story and continue asking questions. >> What? >> I just didn't know why. >> I don't know. >> You were in there earlier though. >> But I didn't touch anything. >> Yeah, but you were with them. >> Sir, I wasn't with him in the store. That's what I'm going to tell you. >> So, the cameras are going to lie. >> I wasn't in the store with them at all. >> Okay. Why are you guys together then? A guy comes out with with stuff that he know he don't have money for. >> He didn't come out with >> He did. He did. >> Yes, he did. >> Well, he tried. >> He tried. I have early. Is there any way you can >> I'm sorry for being rude to you. >> You're fine. >> Okay. So, listen to me. Is it Danielle? >> Yeah. >> Ju just just be honest with me because it might just be if we just get him. >> Okay. >> And I you might be helpful. So, what has been going on? Where have you guys been going to? because we talked to them. They have a a communication with a lot of different different Best Buys >> and they have been tracking you guys for months. >> I don't Okay. >> I don't know what >> So, what is all the stuff in the back of the the the rental car? >> The back? >> Yeah. That that curig thing. Is that yours? >> Mine. >> Okay. Did you pay for it? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Do you have a receipt for it? >> No. >> Okay. So, am I not going to ask another agency that has that same one stolen and they're going to tell me that it's not stolen? >> You sure about that? Because they have records of all those all the serial numbers on those things are all tracked. >> Okay. >> Okay. So, do you what did you which card did you pay for it with? >> Paid it with cash. >> Pay with cash. Okay. >> But it was a while ago. >> Okay. How long ago? >> Like probably 3 weeks ago. And it's not >> it best spot. Where's it from? >> Uh like a Marshall Marshall. >> As for that product the officer is talking about. >> This right here. >> It's a espresso. >> Is there a batch label on it? >> Is that has Is that one of your guys'? >> No, that's not I was checking for a batch label. Big retailers have like a giant sticker that's on it that comes from truck. It'll tell you what location it came from and what store it went through. >> No, that's just UPC. >> What's this right here? an espresso machine that generally retails for over $500. As Danielle's story starts to unravel, she decides it's time to fess up. >> Were you here two weeks ago? >> Me? >> Mhm. >> Two weeks ago? >> Yeah. >> Sure about it? >> No, I wouldn't. >> Okay. 2213 to 2212 talk round one. >> Hey, uh, make sure you take pictures of that so you can bring it out here and show her. Is that what you're going to stick to? You weren't here two weeks ago. >> I don't I don't >> When's the last time you were in that store? >> A month ago. >> Okay. Did you take anything? >> I took anything? >> Yeah. Just be honest. Cuz I'm about He's about to bring it and show you on his cell phone. There's video of it. Now's the time to be honest. Thank you. What did you take? What did you take? You don't remember? Okay. Did you take it home? Did you take the items home? >> Was he with you when you took those stuff last time? >> Yeah. >> Danielle admits to some fault, but back with Andrew, the 36-year-old is singing a different tune. >> What's going on? >> All right. She's going jail, too. >> For what? >> Retail theft. Ow. >> She ain't steal. >> Yeah, she did. >> What do you mean? Yes, she did. >> Two weeks ago. >> Two weeks ago. >> Yeah, they have her on video two weeks ago. She already meant to it. >> She made it to it. >> Yeah, she already made it to it. Step out for a second. >> Yeah. Step out. Right. Okay. two weeks ago. When you talk about two weeks ago, I'm asking you a question. >> Yo, I told you she's going for two weeks ago. She stole two weeks ago about a month ago. >> When I don't remember on video, >> nobody got on video, >> huh? >> Nobody got nobody on video here. >> She already made to it. >> She just did. She >> She's ready to change, man. You're not. >> Jeez. What? >> That dude's a lost cause. >> Huh? >> He hates police. He's not going to tell you anything. >> Meanwhile, a search of the suspect's car uncovered various drugs and paraphernalia, including fentinol. With Andrew remaining tight lipped, officers question Danielle one more time. >> Do you use drugs? >> Yes. >> Okay. What kind of drugs do you use? >> Heroin. >> All right. And what about him? >> Xanax. >> Heroin and Xanax. Have you used any today? >> Yes. >> Now listen, we're going to have a female search you. Anything on your person right now? >> No. Nothing on. Is there any in the vehicle? >> No. >> There's a there's a guy asked me >> gentleman asked me. >> What's that? Bill. >> No. No. No, >> the gentleman asked me if there was anything. >> Okay. So, in the passenger door, there's a baggie with a white powdery substance. What is that >> in the passenger door in the front of the vehicle? >> Powdery substance. >> Yeah, it's like a white powdery substance. >> It's supposed to be like um Molly, but it's nothing. It's like some chime. >> Is that yours? His? >> It's not mine. >> But on video, you are in concert stealing the merchandise. Like, is this the first time you ever done something like this? Okay. Did he pressure you to do this? I was like, I'm going to be honest with you. You two are suspects in numerous Best Buy burglaries throughout the entire state of Florida on video at numerous stores. So, to sit here and tell me that this is the first time you've done it, >> I didn't say I didn't answer you. >> Okay. I'm just letting you know you're on video for numerous different agencies. You're suspects and they have charges on both. You just didn't know who you were. >> Why are you going around the state of Florida stealing stuff from all these best buys? >> You know that's that's a a big problem, right? >> Like are you are you stealing for your drug habit or what? >> Okay, so you steal to fund your drug habit. Where do you guys even live? >> We don't have a presence. >> So, you got you're just you go back and forth. >> Do you have any ties to this county? >> Or did you just happen to see a Best Buy on like your GPS and you came here? >> Now, we're we're going to tear your car apart. There's no other drugs in that car. >> Not that I know. I don't know. I can't answer anybody else. >> How many different Best Buies do you think you stole from? They said there's at least six different ones. >> Six? >> I believe they said six. Yes. >> Six test. >> How many How many do you think it was then? >> I have no idea. I don't >> a couple. >> I don't do this every I don't do this often. I don't do this really ever. So, say six is kind of crazy cuz I don't believe. >> So, you didn't know what he was intending to do today? You You weren't with him in the store pointing out stuff and he came back to the car cuz on video the stuff he pointed out he stole, which is why I'm asking. >> I pointed stuff out. Yeah. >> I don't understand what that means. >> So when that was today's that was today's tip, right? >> Yes. >> On video you point out merchandise like on a Honda shelf, >> right? You come back out the store. You go. It's okay. You go into the vehicle. The stuff that you pointed out. >> So how would I point at stuff? I don't know. >> So this is a finger. This is pointing. You use this finger to point out a product that he stole. >> I use my finger. That's what pointing means. Yes. >> Okay. He doesn't have a cell phone, so how the hell would that work? >> What are you talking about? A cell phone. Well, >> he wasn't with me in the store. >> We have you on video. They both inside the store. You're pointing at items on the shelf. >> Are you talking about today? >> Yes. >> I didn't go in there with him. >> So, how could I be pointing out stuff? Danielle comes sort of clean to the officers, but further investigation of that car soon reveals two, let's just say, suspicious discoveries. >> Is this like a list of stuff that was? >> These are all things that that I think they sell on online. She's got Target. >> She's got another >> Burlington Hobby Lobby. We're going to take sees this. >> They got They got stuff here, too. 97. >> Yeah, we're we're going to take this as evidence. >> You heard that right. Officers found two notebooks filled with various notes about products in stores. Let's see what Danielle has to say about those. >> Some of these dates are back to March 22. I'm just going to ask you ask what this is for you. So, what's all this you have written down on these ledge? Like a ledger. >> Oh, >> you have store names, products, prices. >> What are you talking about? >> Burlington, Hobby Lobby, Target. things I want. >> And then you have that says sold pending. Are you are you putting stuff online to sell that you steal? >> No. >> So if I were to send your picture out to every department in the entire state for Hobby Lobby, Burlington, and Targets, you're not going to be a suspect in any any stores. I saw it. It says you sent out. What? How do you How do you obtain this stuff to sell? >> Is this your notebook? >> No, >> this isn't your notebook in your car. The Hello Kitty, like the bag you're on camera carrying. Hello Kitty. These Hello Kitty notebooks aren't yours. >> Oh, those are really old. I mean, some of the dates are 3:25, 2024, which is not that old. Is this not your handwriting? >> That's my handwriting. >> That is >> That's my handwriting. Those are my books. Stuff like >> like you're looking at stuff that really has nothing. >> So, well, let me let me explain it to you. >> Like, there's like nothing in there. Like, I don't understand. Like, you're going through my like personal like >> Well, we we can search your vehicle. >> No, I don't care. You can look at anything. It's just things I want at Hobby Lobby. I mean, you can go to every Hobby Lobby and see if I still want anything. No. No. >> Okay. So, >> yeah. >> But it's nice to see cuz after she went to the bathroom, the other lady went in there. Very happy. >> Where was it? Or what was it? >> Here you are. Just taking >> no. So, you got a prepackaged pack, walked into the aisle, opened up your waistband, and slipped it into your waistband. So, where's that product? >> I slipped into my waistband. >> You did. I watched it on camera. It wasn't that. >> It's a prepackaged product that came out of the cooler that was right next to it. You went around the corner, you hid behind the display, and you slipped it into your waistband right under your shirt. >> I didn't slip anything in my waistband. Only thing I had was a fish. >> I just washed it on camera. So, >> I didn't slip anything in my waist. >> You sure it's not fish that she slipped in? That's pre cuz that is I just washed it. No, it's not this package. It's the seal package that they have inside the cooler. So, what happened to that? >> I don't have nothing but the fish. That's all I have. You take the car. I don't have nothing. Only thing I got was the fish. >> All right. You paid for all these items? >> I did. Let me see them real quick. >> You already looked inside. Okay, never mind. Nothing in there, >> huh? >> Nothing in there? >> Nope. >> Did you find anything? >> I got the other fish. >> Oh, you did? >> Yeah, we have two two things of fish. So, the other one is a sealed >> Publix branded bag of frozen fish. That was >> That's what we saw on the film. >> Yep. >> On the video. >> So, that's in the car. >> That's what we're missing right now. >> I was going to have fish. >> So, Amber's on the way. >> Okay. Amber. I know Amber. >> Amber arrives to perform searches on both of the female suspects. >> So, per camera footage. >> Per camera footage. >> Yeah. >> The skinnier one. the senior one in the pink, >> went up to the fish container or fish cooler, grabbed a labeled package of frozen fish, and when she went around into the aisle, she took it, put it inside her waistband, put her shirt over it, and kept on walking. But she deviated to the bathroom. And then the thicker lady, she swapped with her. And they talked for a minute, she went to the bathroom, was only in there for a minute, came back out. The other lady walked in, assuming picked up the product and walked back out. And then that's when we talked to them. So I don't think that they've had time to drop anything. >> So we're just I'm searching both of them just to make sure there's nothing on them. >> Correct. >> Okay. >> Do you think there's anything else? >> I saw them take the package. I just don't know where the package is. No, I'm investigator Stanley. Okay. So, um I'm going to patch you all down. Okay. >> Okay. I'll start with you first. We have >> on you. Okay. All right. So, can I take these for a second? Okay. >> Here you go. >> Thank you. >> We've already verified the purchase of these, so I'm going to put them in the car. Okay. >> Okay. Okay. Just going to hit you. All right. All right. And do you have anything that's going to stick to your pants >> on you? I'm going to put this right here. >> Okay, >> there you go. The fish tail ended with two of the three suspects being arrested. Although we don't know the identities of the suspects, we do know they were charged with shoplifting. The stolen merchandise total to about $80. No further information could be found about the outcome of this case at the time of this recording. >> Hi, Amber. >> How are you? >> I'm good. How are you? >> I'm good. I haven't seen you in a minute. >> Yeah, I've been here. >> So have I. >> I just had a burglary call. >> I do see that we have a call for service from the alarm company. Are you the owner of the business? >> Uh I'm the manager. I clicked on the cameras and I got a description of the person. So, I was just going to give you guys that. It looks like a like late teens to mid20s Hispanic male. Um, like long enough hair that I can see it like not buzzcut. He has like I can't tell if it's like camo, but it's like a prank like sweatuit on. >> Now, City of Columbus police officers respond to the burglary alarm location when they notice multiple animals in the parking lot. >> There's about 20 exotic birds, a couple bunnies, and a couple dogs running around the parking lot right now. I I'm hitting it by fly away. >> You can see [ __ ] bit me hard. Sure did. All right. So, question is is so he came out cuz he's leaking pretty good in there. Did he hit up there? Well, he had to have hit up roosters cuz that's how the rock got bloody >> and we never got an alarm from here. Right. >> Right. >> So, he hit this place first, then hit Roosters cuz that's where the rock came from. >> Yeah, but he's bleeding a lot more here. >> But he could have wrapped it up in time. The suspect is no longer on the premise, so officers investigate the scene for clues until a lead comes into the call center. >> 911, what is the location of the emergency? >> I'm by the big lot that connects to the Planet Fitness by the Silver Horn Center on Robert's Road. >> What's going on there? >> Uh, so have you heard about the guy who broke into Petland? >> Yes. >> Uh, I'm looking right at him. So >> all the employees at Power Ford were inside the building. They heard a car alarm, ran outside, >> seen him break into one of the employees for 4Runners. >> Okay. >> He was inside pulling stuff out. >> The employee ran over there. Hey, get out of my truck. He turns around and basically said, "Get out of here." He's like, "You're my truck." So he reaches down with a red tire iron and hits old boy across the face. The the power for employee. He's got a pretty good gash here on his head. So, the power Ford employee like backs out. That guy hits multiple other vehicles with the tire iron. I I don't know. I'm going to go over there now, but I don't know if they got 275 as well. So he gets in his truck, drives over here through looks like through maybe the dirt or part of the dirt into the bank, goes through the parking lot, runs over the motorcycle that's in the parking lot, backs out, and then pulls into the building, crashes through the building, goes all the way up almost to this back wall where the desks is. >> Jeez. Okay. >> Backs out, goes all the way back in again multiple times. Um, so everybody that's in there, I don't know if Louie IDed any of those people, but I mean some of them were writing statements, but I mean there was tons of people in the building building and they all had to run out of way cuz he was trying to back and forth. I can't run. >> So I'm going to run over to power forward. >> Officers head back to the crash site where we get a glimpse at the extent of the damage. >> I guess I'm going to look inside. >> Yeah. You hit the desk. >> I structurally >> because I need to watch this video. >> If they were right there and they had to run. >> Was his intent to hit them though or did he just grab it through and then stopped and then backed out? >> That's the question. You know what I mean? >> That's the job. >> Yeah. >> Oh man, >> he hit them for >> So he didn't just stop. He hit the desk where they were at. >> Okay, we have these victims. I I need to I don't have anything. I know probably >> other people did 27, but I don't know who what everyone has. >> I know the commander got a bunch of 49, but I don't know what who was sitting. >> I'm going to double check everything. >> Yeah, why don't you just now that he's at hospital, you guys just slow down and and let's identify who is sitting here. >> Just hi. We can come in and >> Yeah. Who is in here? >> Police find a few key witnesses and head to an office area where investigators get their side of the story. So, when he first drove through, uh, did he go all the way through to this, uh, back desk? At >> the first time, >> I I think I probably had the best view because I saw when he first he went to the side corner of the gate and then he reversed in and that first parking space, he he reversed, hit the lip of the curb or the back. It was like he was backing in the park. >> Uhhuh. >> Yeah. Yeah. And then he forded his engine and he hopped back curb and then he he put in drive and hit over the curb and rounded the first set of doors first >> with the with his tailgate >> with his truck like in front of the front >> front. Yeah. Cuz he were reversing the parking space uh reversed and spun out a little bit and then he drove forward and hopped the curb and hit the first set of frames, the first door frame. >> Gotcha. And then he reversed out again and that's why I went to my manager's office to get her and then she he rammed it again and made it through the second time. That's by the time he hit the second time these guys were already out into the office. >> He penetrated clearly and then he reversed the third time and went all the way to the tower lines and hit it and that's where he stopped and then we got me and my manager got through when he was reversing the third time into the area. Okay. >> We're on the second floor of the bank to tell you first first um went in. You guys ran away from this desk. >> Yes. By the when he was inside the second time. So like the second time he ran in, he went all the way into the centers. >> That's where we all ran away and then we found out after the fact that he ran a third time through the tellers to the teller in the back. So when you guys were here, >> yeah, the third time when he was coming through, he can't cuz he was speeding up to but he was spinning out in the lobby. Um we're me and my manager were trying to run through the side exit cuz we have to do the mag tag thing and um he went through and and he was flooring towards us, but we got through and then he got out of his truck cuz we have like two mag uh strip door locks. Um we went through the first one and he somehow got out of his truck and got into the first one and then two managers confronted the mate there and before we got into the second area of safety but um he he was saying call the FBI there's terrorists cuz he got out of his truck when we were still after the third time he ran he's following us >> and he was like call the FBI there's terrorists here just spreading all kinds of nonsense like that and then he he followed us and then after that that was pretty much it. >> Yeah. Steven was booked for multiple charges, including aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, burglary, criminal damage to property, robbery, leaving the scene of an accident, resisting arrest, and more. Court records show he later pleaded not guilty to the charges. At last check, Steven is expected to undergo a competency hearing this fall. Red, is it is it that what's >> that they're looking at? According to store owner, around 4 am Saturday, the boxwearing bandit entered the Miami Gardens I Repair tech store and stole 19 iPhones and $8,000 in cash. But when I, you know, there was a laugh on my face when I saw the recording video of my surveillance. >> The robber then appears to accidentally swat the box off of his head, revealing his face before quickly putting it back on and leaving the store. I was able to recognize the the guide and then were able to take a picture of from another day of surveillance and I went around the businesses in the plaza and tell me this is the guy if you see him just give me a call. A wouldbe robbery doesn't go quite as planned when a suspect storms into a nail salon demanding money, but no one reacts to his threats. >> Where's the money? >> Security video shows what happened on July 2nd in Atlanta, Georgia, when a suspect walked into the Nail First Salon. The man calls for everyone to get down and hand over all their money. >> Everybody get down. Give me all your money. It's got the pockets. Give me all your money. >> But instead of giving up their valuables, customers and employees don't react at all. The salon's owner even answers a phone call rather than interact with the suspect. >> Hello. One woman does react though. Video shows her stand up and put her hands out. The suspect then snatches up her cell phone. >> Give me the money. Where's the money? >> Everybody give me everything. >> As the woman steps outside, the suspect screams for the others to hand over their money. >> Where's the money? But the customers still refuse to react or give up their belongings. Defeated, the suspect appears stunned before turning around and walking out of the shop. >> Video shows the suspect pass by the woman whose phone was just stolen before she re-enters the salon. Officials say the suspect drove off in a silver colored sedan. Right now, authorities are still searching for him. Yep. Driver, with your left hand, open the door on the outside. All the passengers, keep your hands out of the window so we can see your hands. Now exit the vehicle while facing away from me. Driver, no driver. Face away. Exit the vehicle. Keep your hands where I can see them. Now walk back to the sound of my voice. Keep walking. Keep walking. Stop. With your left hand, grab the the collar, the top collar of your shirt. Lift it up where I can see your waistband. Lift it up. Turn around in a circle. Face away from me. All right. Keep walking. Keep walking. Walk to your right. Nope. Walk to your right. Keep walking. You got it, Cory. Listen to what he has to say. All right, passenger. Open the vehicle outside of the car. Keep your hands up. Face away from me. Walk back to the sound of my voice. Keep walking. Grab the collar of your shirt. Stop. Grab the collar your shirt. I want to see your waistband. All right. Turn around in a circle. All right. Just stay where you are. Put him in the car. All right. Come back. Keep coming. Keep coming. Go to the right. You got him, Cory. Call him back. >> All right, rear passenger. >> Step out of the vehicle. >> Keep your hands where I can see them. Step out. Face away. Walk back to the sound of my voice. Lift your collar of your shirt. Stop. Stop. Lift the collar of your shirt. Yep. Lift the collar of your shirt. Lift it all the way so I can see your waistband. All right. Turn around. Turn. Nope. Keep your shirt up. Keep your shirt up. Face. Turn around. Okay. Face away from me. All right. You ready for another one, Cory? All right. Walk facing away from me. Walk to your right. Nope. Walk to your right. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. All right. If there's anybody else in the vehicle, you need to step out. >> Ready. >> Step out. Search you real quick. Okay. Clear. Copy for that. It's stuck. That's why they left it. >> Yeah, they couldn't get it out. >> That's the >> So, where did this one was stolen? >> That's the patron from the car this morning. So, that's going to be it. >> They stole this and it had been reported. >> Okay, that's what I was wondering. >> He just shaved his face more. >> Ryan, my man, >> how you doing? Not not so hot. So, we have the house. Uh, can we put him inside? >> Is anybody else inside, bro? >> No. >> No. Your dad's on his way here. Your mom's not too happy. Um, if we could just >> uh Where's your car at? >> Um, it's a flat. You see that spare tire right there? >> Yeah. >> I was going to go fix it. >> I got a flight yesterday. >> No kidding. No wonder you're all over the city. >> You're a Door Dasher. I was right. >> Yeah, you were right. Dang, you're right. We'll just put him in one of your guys' cars. I'll go interview him in two seconds. going to take it right down this land and go towards that white copy. Can we use res? >> I have Yeah. >> Uh, we haven't confirmed it yet. I do have a copy of it though. >> Well, I looked I was like, "Nah, it doesn't look like him." >> Way to go, Josh. >> Way to go. Way to go, Josh. >> We're good clearing it with three of us. >> Yeah. Does the dog mean? >> Dog the cat. >> Oh, whatever. >> I'm just trying to keep it inside. >> Attention the residents. This is the Albuquerque Police Department. If you're inside, come to the sound of my voice. Come to the sound of my voice now with your hands free and clear. Do it now. Attention the residence. Alphabet Police Department. This is a search warrant. We need you to come to the sound of my boys and do it now. He said so. He was weird and said, "Dad was upstairs sleeping." I was like, "Did dad leave earlier?" He's like, "No, dad's sick." >> No, he's at the doctor. I just talked him off. >> Okay. So, you ready? >> Yeah. >> Okay. APD search war. He was upstairs. I got it. >> Zach, I'm going to hold here. You want to clear that door behind me? >> What's that? >> Clear that door behind him. >> Okay, I'm going left. You want to take right? >> Hi, Kitty. >> Yeah, I don't see nothing. There's right now >> police department take the small clear. >> Oh, look at here. Some Pokemon cards done with this weird garage must be converted into a room. this apartment here. Can't get around the truck, but these look clear. We're coming to you, baby. >> Come on, Sarge. We're ready. I'm >> good. I'm a squeeze. >> I'm a squeeze. The thigh squeeze off to the right to the right. It's locked. Is it? >> Yeah, that's locked. >> That's locked. >> Police department. >> Police. So, all the doors are locked. >> Police department. Anybody in there? Wonder if dad will have keys. If not, we're going to have to force entry. I guess >> you told me. You can stay up here with the doors. Um, honestly, I don't think anybody else is here. Mom's like, "Nobody shouldn't be in the house." >> He was here earlier with the girl. So, >> yeah. >> Oh, look. If we get something small, we just poke in there. >> Oh, it's one of those. >> Oh, so that's locked from the inside then. >> So, all we got to do is >> That's kind of weird. Is there anything in there? >> Yeah. Just Just hold up here, Shane, until the dad gets here and I can try to get a key. >> We'll just have him come up and I'll lock him. >> Dude's up here with me, too. That way we don't have to damage them. >> Police say they were able to find some of the goods and now they go talk to the suspect, Brian Bettis. >> You said my dad's on his way, right? >> He has the keys though. >> Yes. The only Pokemon that are in my room are the ones that are mine. >> Well, let me let me talk to you first. Okay. I got to read you your rights. So, I'm Detective Tom with the b the burglar unit. Okay. Um, anything you say Toma >> Toma? >> Yeah. It's spelled like Thomas with no S. So, uh, you have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in court. And you have the right to an attorney. If you can't afford one, one will be appointed to you. Okay. You have the right to have the attorney present during questioning and to stop my question any time to get an attorney. Having your rights in mind, do you wish to speak to me? >> Yes, I'll speak to you. >> Okay. So, explain to me what happened. >> So, I don't know. I've seen some stuff on news. I called a lawyer, got to talking to him, he told me to turn myself in, but I said I wanted to wait till after Christmas. >> Mhm. >> And I seen the news and someone said that the before I even got on the news, people were posting on Instagram saying it was me. So, >> I don't know what evidence you guys got on me besides the face photo, but um the Pokémon that are in the pantry room, the first floor, those are mine. I've been collecting those since March. I have pictures, evidence, >> okay, >> of me collecting those. >> Okay. So, so stuff that you're collected, the warrant covers all Pokemon. So, what'll happen is I will present those to the victims and if they're like, "Yep, those aren't mine." And they seem like they're legit people. I guess you know them. >> No, that's the thing, too. He says, "I come into I never been in a store. I never sold them any cars >> except for that night. That was the first time you're in that store." >> No. 29. >> Anyway, so those cards will be in safekeeping and evidence for you to go pick up when you're done. >> Where are the Pokemon cards from the Hobbies and Games? >> Where are those ones at? >> Um, Hobbies and Games >> the store. No, I don't. No, my cards are in there. Okay. There's two white bins on shelf. There's clothes on there and there's Christmas gifts on there. >> Mhm. >> So, just be careful cuz there's glass. There's a glass case for my niece. There's a jewelry box. >> Okay. >> So, if you're gonna take those, just take those. It's right there in the shelves. And when you walk in, you go towards the living room and then go to the right where the there's a hallway towards the garage. >> Yeah, I saw the bins in there. >> Okay. So, those bins So, those bins are my Pokémon cards. >> Okay. >> And y'all take those cards and keep them whatever that I spent money on them. >> Okay. So, you just said that you got a hold of a lawyer cuz you saw the news. I'm assuming you recognize the news as being your face. >> Um, so where where are the Pokemon cards in the binders and all the hero clicks or whatever those other cards gathering of the magic of gathering cards in those binders? >> I don't know. I don't know what you're talking about. >> You have no idea even though it's you on the video. >> That's not me on the video. >> Yeah, I'm surprised too people saying that was me on the video. But >> it's not just one person. It's people who don't even know anybody saying >> Yeah. That's funny cuz whoever said it was >> Mhm. um knows my mom and called my mom's number. Why didn't they call my number if they knew me? >> Well, how would they tell you, hey, we know you instead of calling the police? That doesn't make any sense. >> So, you're saying that that's not you in the video? >> No. >> Okay. Do you know who it is? >> Oh my god. No. I called a lawyer to figure out like, hey, how do I handle this? Someone's blaming me, accusing me of >> So, how do you explain your car driving in front of the business just before the burglary? I don't know. >> Door dash. >> You own a red Hyundai Elantra with no front bumper, right? >> Yep. >> That's the car that's seen there, buddy. So, explain that. Door dashing it doesn't doesn't cut it. >> You have records of all your door dashes and where you would be going, >> I think. So, >> we'll have to pull those if you're trying to say that you were door dashing in that area. Seems like a weird place to be door dashing at the same time the burg. I have. >> So, where's your car at? >> My car is all the way on the east. >> That doesn't narrow it down at all. >> It's all the way on the east. Uh Eubang um 504 504 Morris. >> 504 Morris. So, if we go over there, your car will be there. >> Yeah. Pay that to get sold out. >> I do thank you for talking to me, though. Why didn't you want to come to the door if you're not guilty of anything? >> Does that seem weird? If you were not guilty, don't you think, "Ah, man, the police are here. Let me go explain things." >> No, I want to go spend time for Christmas with my family in California. >> That's where your mom is. >> I just ruined that. >> I didn't do it. I didn't break into no place. You have any questions or anything you need to ask me? >> Which room's yours in there? >> That might just have that stuff in there. >> It's just that when you walk towards the living room and go down that hallway that first door on the left with all the bins. >> Okay. >> Of my parts. >> Okay. So, our search warrant gives us permission to go everywhere in the house and touch every single thing, the back shed. So, to make it easier on your family where we don't have to go through all of their drawers and personal belongings, which we're going to now because we have to look for these certain cards, it'd be easier if you just manned up and saved your family the heartache and said, "Hey, the cards are here." >> No, it's just those two bins. The cards are not here. >> Where are they? I don't know, dude. I only have my cards here. >> Yeah, you keep saying your card's here, which leads me to believe that those cards are somewhere. >> If you're worried about being in jail for Christmas, it's probably not going to happen cuz you only have that one other arrest that I could find. >> So, you're probably going to get released. >> Other arrest >> from a couple years back. >> I had a warrant from a couple years back. >> Yeah. You also uh are getting summoned for touching a little 15-year-old butt. So, there's that. But I do think you'll probably be getting released in the next couple of days. >> It's Friday, so we have to be >> Yeah. Hopefully you get seen before then. Um it would have been faster if you'd have just came to the door. You know what I mean? >> Yes, sir. >> Um so, uh you don't want to tell me anything else? >> No, sir. Bettis was put under arrest. And the reason we're calling him the Grinch, well, check out his hat here. It turns out that the owner of the store also had seen Bettis before in the store. And he knew who he was the second he saw him on surveillance video. Now to a high-speed chase in Ohio, where officers are after one of their own vehicles because they say a suspect stole a police cruiser from a police station and then that suspect led them on a high-speed chase through rural Ross County. Here we go. >> Speed's 100. Left the center again. No traffic. Speed's 90. I'm coming up on let's see it looks like >> Huntington Lane Patton Road Huntington Lane >> Cooks Hill we're coming up on the bridge I'm backing down is backing down behind He's stopping. >> Show me your hands. Get out of the car. Get out of the car. Get out of the car. >> Get out of the car now. Get out of the car. >> Get out of the car now. >> Get out of the car. >> Get out of the car now. >> Get out of the car. >> Get out of the car now. >> How many people are in there with you? >> Get out of the car. >> Reach in with your right hand and unbuckle the seat belt and then bring it back out. Reach in with your right hand, unbuckle the seat belt, and bring it back out. Climb out the window. >> Get on the ground now. >> Don't move. >> Put your hand behind your back. >> Show me your hands. >> I am. >> Get out of the car. >> Get out of the car. >> I can't. Get out of the car, >> sir. Get out of the car. >> Get out of the car now. >> Okay. >> Get out of the car. >> My seat belt on, sir. >> Get out of the car now. >> Seat belt on. >> Get out of the car now, >> sir. I got a seat belt on. >> Get out of the car. >> Get out of the car now. >> I got a seat belt on me, sir. >> How many people are in there with you? >> It's me, sir. >> Get out of the car. >> Reach in with your right hand and unbuckle the seat belt and then bring it back out. Yeah. >> Reach in with your right hand, unbuckle the seat belt, and bring it back out. Climb out the window. >> Get on the ground. >> Now, don't move. >> I'm not going. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> My hands are behind my back. You guys look the hospital. Something's going on at the hospital, man. You guys, >> what are you doing? >> Yeah, the hospital will not. Here's the suspect, Tommy Cantrell Jr. He's facing charges including theft without consent and failure to comply with an order from a police officer. Speaking of allegedly stealing emergency vehicles, take a look at this story out of Tampa. There's no audio to this video, so let me walk you through what you're watching right now because that's a police officer chasing a man in a stolen ambulance. Authorities say he took it right from a hospital in the city. Florida Highway Patrol eventually gets the man to slow down and pull over. And watch this part closely. Yes, that guy drinks a beer as officers approach him. You can see it right through the mirror. He's pulled out of the vehicle and put under arrest. Michael Esquilin reportedly told police he had been drinking for the past 2 days. Then he stole the ambulance after emergency personnel at the hospital declined to give him a ride home. He's now facing several charges, including burglary of an emergency vehicle and DUI. Let's turn now to a truly disturbing story out of Connecticut. We have the newly released body cam video of the moment authorities came upon a house where they say a stepmom was holding her stepson captive for 20 years. I want to show you this body cam video. Officers originally responded to a fire at the home that was allegedly set by the stepson in hopes it would set him free. Watch this. >> Come over here. Go down the road. Come down. We have to get stuff out. >> Come on. Come down. Come down. >> Come on down. >> Who else is in the house? Who else is in here? >> My stepson is in here. >> How many other people? That's it. I have two cats. >> Everybody's out. >> Yes. >> But your stepson's still inside. >> Yeah, he's right here. >> Okay. Come out. Come down the road. Come on. Come on. Stay here. Come on. >> All right. My dog is >> I know. Come down here. >> That's true. 8743. Victim victim. Okay. >> My dog. >> I know. Come on. >> I'm coming. >> You see it? Got one victim right here. >> I need to stay over here. What you saw there at the end of that video, that is the stepson being loaded into an ambulance. He suffered some smoke inhilation. He was 32 years old and he weighed less than 70 lb. As for the stepmom, here's her mug shot. Kimberly Sullivan. She is the suspect. Her lawyer, though, is saying she's innocent of the charges that she now faces. We'll be watching this story closely as it continues to develop. Finally, today, if you're a parent, you're going to want to see this story because it is one of a toddler being incredibly brave and doing some quick thinking to save his great-g grandandmother, who is in real trouble. Look at this video here. Here's what the boy's mom says happened. His great-g grandandmother was over at the house to take him to her house when she slipped on a concrete step and hit her head walking out of the home. The rest of the family was somewhere else, so it was just the great grandmother and the three-year-old greatgrandson. It was dark outside, but she asked that three-year-old to go get her phone from the car and be brave. Watch this. Open the door. >> I said it. >> Yeah. And you can hear that little boy telling himself not to be afraid as he goes out into the darkness, opens the door, gets his great-g grandandmother's phone, and she was able to call 911 to get help. >> Damaging. >> Oh god, there's >> using animals. Oh, there are dribbles in there. Yeah, definitely animals. Animal abuse. >> What the heck? >> Oh, sorry, bud. I did not see you there. Yeah, there's a lot of blood there. >> Let's clear it. There's about 20 exotic birds, a couple bunnies, and a couple dogs running around the parking lot right now. >> All right. 9190. 91 91 that way on a 50. >> Come here. You're okay. Come here. That's what he did. >> Two of them. Sorry. You're good. >> Let's go this way. >> Yeah. Yeah, there's two of them. They're busted. >> Two of them. >> Yeah. >> How do they even get back here though? Cuz there's no >> I don't see any back. >> Busted up and they come out here. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> But like I don't even see any keys. >> Yeah. Maybe it's like cheap. >> I don't think so. It's Friday afternoon at a bank in Fairfield Township, Ohio, when an elderly woman walks in and approaches the tellers. But they'll soon find out she's no ordinary customer. The woman is caught on bank surveillance cameras tossing a black bag toward the employee while allegedly holding a gun concealed in a grocery bag. The employee appears not to notice initially, but the robbery suspect quickly gets her attention. The worker later tells police the suspect demanded money while holding the gun. According to an arrest report, a few terrifying seconds pass before the teller opens a locked drawer and appears to grant the woman's request. But she's not stopping there. Another customer exits as the suspect makes her way to a second employee again demanding money. The two appear to converse for a moment before the employee raises her hands and slowly opens a drawer to retrieve money for the woman. The employee shows the woman the cash and puts it in the bag when just like that, the suspect takes the loot and leaves. But police aren't far behind. Officers were led to a home in Hamilton, Ohio, after a vehicle matching the suspect's car was found in the driveway. The suspect allegedly removed the license plates during the heist, but it was her bumper sticker that led officers here before I met with HPD. That plate is all right, guys. What you got for me? >> Did you see anybody coming in around the house or anything or No. Is that vehicle there? Yes, sir. It is. It's parked in the driveway in plain view. Unless she comes out. She is armed. >> Yeah. Two females in the backyard up here. Unarmed. >> I'm going to go back and start at the third point. Just hang out on the perimeter. As long as you know we're okay. This is a That way in case something happens, we're good. You know what I'm saying? >> Now we get a look at that sun bumper sticker that police said appeared in surveillance video of the suspect's car. That's when investigators said a search of the vehicle description uncovered an image of the same car with the sticker and license plates intact and registered to an owner at this address. Let's continue. Son of a Somebody's here. >> Yes, ma'am. Come to me. >> Hi. Hands. I'm sorry. He said hands. >> Please, ma'am. >> Come over here for a second. Okay. >> You got to pat him down. >> You sweating. >> I tell you what. Oh, that's good enough. If I'm going to take the flat of my hand. >> Yeah. Go right ahead, darling. I >> am just >> Hi. What did I do? >> Well, that's what we're trying to find out what's going on here because ma'am, come here. >> And she was in the house and she just came out. We're shoveling sand. >> I'm coming. >> Oh my god. >> Can you go over there by those officers for me, please, ma'am? >> Uhhuh. Me or her? Ann, >> I want you, please, ma'am, if you could. >> She can't hear. I don't hear. Well, I can't hear over here. >> Okay. >> Police identify the suspect seen here as 74year-old Anne Mayors, who they would later discover allegedly made off with just under $600. >> Ma'am, do you have any weapons on you? >> Lord, no. >> Okay. What did we do? >> Okay. >> Yeah. I want you over there for me, please. Thank you. >> Thank you so very much, ma'am. >> My car is locked. >> That's okay. >> Hang out for a second. Okay.
