on January 26 2023 police officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for cutting off other vehicles waiting to turn the driver later admits he does not have a valid driver's license the driver admits he has been drinking alcohol after the officer says he detects the odor of alcohol other vehicles that we're waiting to turn man I know I was a jerk and I was traffic yeah I get it sorry no worries you got your license registration Insurance on you yes what's the problem registration yep license is another not valid okay so you know you shouldn't be driving yes okay do you have insurance on you no okay and honestly I'm going right there right where uh Motel 6. okay are you staying there right now yeah I'm going through some tough times okay I gotcha but I mean I can give you anything else yeah I mean any sort of ID would be awesome I do have my passport as well but this this will work just fine I'm so sorry no worries anything to drink or anything today I can smell it on you yeah until I tell you've been okay all right no worries so hold the position that you just started until I tell you to begin okay so what you're going to do is you're gonna imagine that imaginary line in front of you okay you're gonna take nine heel toe steps forward hang on I haven't told you to begin yet all right so you're gonna take nine heal the toe steps forward okay one two three nine take nine I'm taking three when you get to the ninth step you're gonna take a series of small steps okay so take a series of small steps around and when you walk backwards you're gonna take another 90 Hill to so steps one two three and so forth until you get to nine we can that looks this looks flatter come over here sorry no it's it's hey your criticism yeah is this better sure if it's if it's not we can go somewhere else okay so yep okay so nine and then turn back and nine and so while you're doing that you're gonna turn right or left so when you when you get to that ninth step you use your your lead foot to take the series The small steps back take nine heel toe steps back okay while you're doing this look down to your feet keep your hands to your side count out loud and do not stop once you thousand one one thousand two one thousand three and so forth until I tell you to stop okay you understand that so keep your hands to your side look down at your feet count out loud and don't stop go against the I go against it I have to go with you if you go against it I have to make the determination as to what is going to happen next so it's completely voluntary sorry I'm just I'm I'm right there I I get it I don't I know it's not your fault it's my fault um so what if I refuse like I said it's completely voluntary and at that point I would have to make a decision okay all right so this time I am placing under arrest for DUI okay I got a DUI in the past no [Applause] so we don't want to tow your car you give us permission to move into a parking spots closing a toad it's just right here all right do you have anything on you that's gonna poke me or stick me okay nope so we'll go back to my car you wouldn't mind searching them for me Corporal right this way glasses nope I'm the easiest rest you'll ever have I appreciate that place a flag for me separate your feet nice and wide all right relax your hands so while he's doing that I'm gonna read you something okay I gotta read
