that the parks close at 10: around here that's fine I was just being here oh yeah to my house where's home at two blocks down the road 17 17 second a oh how come you guys came here instead of going home why I just came here to smoke that doesn't make sense iig in the house no it's cuz you're trying to [ __ ] me right doesn't make sense to come to a park just to smoke a cigarette 121 headquarters for Wisconsin 28 is Adam Henry Edward 1886 ah 1886 break for second second is Adam Mary Union 6075 repeating AMU 6075 I'll take both why would why would it make sense guying then explain to me why it would make sense cuz if I wanted to smoke I would just go home smoke and then go inside from home from the bar okay okay that still doesn't make sense you want to try again while you came and parked here instead of going home if home's only two blocks that way sexual okay see that makes sense okay but why wouldn't you go home for that it's I it's where I it's cold out yes why why would you go home for that I'm about to but you said you came to the park for a cigarette and then you told me it's for yeah adult activities that's where I met her you met her here yes no that's not true I watched you two drive out of downtown she was right behind you from down by Dairyland Bank the 100 block of sixth East if I need to be super specific but I saw you both leave cool so now you're lying to me down down yeah I know I saw the cars came here go ahead it just doesn't make sense why you wouldn't just go straight home instead of come here cuz I met her here she was behind you downtown cool cuz you're lying to me and now you don't have an answer so you're just going to say cool no down her me on one F you can follow me to my house she could have followed you from downtown could have right yeah that's why it doesn't make sense to me okay when at the bar 104 are you Jeremy costalis on that own the Buick a what are you Jeremy yes you own the Buick uh the red car go ahead yeah it's a Buick a hm yeah a bu what about it 104 I much we had to drink at the bar [Applause] then not much how much is not much at the bar mhm nothing have a lot to drink right here though you've been parked here for maybe all of 2 minute stops oh so where were you I watched you leave downtown with this car behind you that's cool was that my car mhm cuz we also had a traffic complaint on your car earlier tonight too oh for what give me proof you can contact the records department and get history on it if you like it's fine so how much did you have when you were downtown I one fish which bar was that market the market how much did you have when you at shoes how much did you have before you were at shoes one fishball at the market and then you went to shoes so how much did you have at shoes zero okay okay did you have anything when you went back downtown I didn't go back down there well I let watch that car leave from a parked position downtown that's why I'm asking it is cool I'm observant sometimes went downtown didn't have nothing waited for her to meet up mhm I was meeting up with her yeah that's what it looked like told her me here you have a couple smokes cigarettes yep I see that and I to go to my house is right there sounds good would you be willing to go through field sobriety test to make sure that you're safe to be driving tonight cool yeah okay I'm going to talk to my partner give me a reason why you you are here because the parks are closed at 10: and I saw two cars parked down in here yeah so I came to tell you guys that the parks were closed and I recognized that these were the two vehicles that I watched leave from downtown that's cool it is pretty cool it's funny how that stuff happens isn't it weird it is a little bit not weird do you have his ID yet um he's the registered owner Jeremy Jeremy I got my okay can we have it please thank you very much all right I'll just have you sit tight for right here right now no not yet so I was going to try to talk to her but she was in the car and he came walking out towards me but uh he's saying that they he came here to meet her so that she could follow him to her hey don't I said stay over there so that she could follow him to her H to his house and I said that I watched both these cars leap together downtown then he said they were coming here for a smoke and I was like why would you just go home and smoke outside and then go inside then they said sex and I said well it's cold out why won you go home yeah and now he just keeps saying cool cool cool well she's intoxicated okay and assuming he is too mhm so do you want to do his fields and then I'll do hers and I'll get County people here to sure unless you want to switch I know that you were looking for no it doesn't matter okay yeah I'll run him through Fields then okay I'll give you that one then and then uh I'll get some County people here and then um make where to do this probably take one to Mayo one to Mayo and maybe maybe this a quick trip quick trip then sounds good all right this officer already asked you if you want to do field vary exercises do you still want to do those uh give me a reason why cuz you admitted to drinking alcohol earlier yeah you said you drink a fish bowl and I just want to make sure that you're safe to be driving are you willing to cool yeah okay well we're going to go to Mayo and use their Bay because it's a little bit warmer in there than standing out do you want to go inside or do you want to stand outside in the cold no I want to go warm I'm cold yeah me too so I'm going to just is it okay if we pat you down make sure you have no weapons and then I'll give you a ride to Mayo and we'll do the field there my car yeah we we'll take care of that for you we'll shut it off for you we'll get your keys is there anything else you want out of the car no uh I'm going to make sure you don't have any weapons before she drives you somewhere that's all why is she going to drive me somewhere to do the field exercises inside that's cool let me shut my car off the car that that we're not letting you back in the car yeah I'm not going to go it's just officer safety stuff we're not letting you back near the car you two officers can watch me I'll NOP there's no flex on this one you're not you're not going back into the front seat of your car if you want it I'm not going to get in it I'll open the door you're not going to go and shut it off if let me walk with you and I'll watch you shut the car off how that no I'm not going to have you stand behind me or anything like that it's just not safe for for him or you just go with the flow man we're going to just pat you down for weapons and then we're going to put you in my car and your your car will get shut off that's cool shut it off that's cool let me let me watch you shut my car no about this you're not running the show no no no no no no I'm I'm I saying I'm going to make sure you don't have any weapons and then I will go shut your car off oh I got so many weapons I got bombs on me and everything okay over here give me a reason why I cannot watch you shut my car off officer safety you're not standing behind my partner okay let me let me watch watch stop moving around what are what is the problem what do you have on you I'm just saying let me watch no cuz you're not going to be standing behind my partner while he's leaned into your car I literally said I literally you got your cameras on yes nice cuz I got one on too that's good that's fine I'm saying let me watch you shut my car off no no it's not happening I cannot watch no but we'll bring you your keys too let me watch you shut my car off get you're going to sit in the car and you can watch through the window I will not come with you but let me watch here you can watch through the window cuz I still need to go talk to her okay shut my car off you will through the back window okay you will very clearly see all the way through I'll put my hands up go shut my car up okay there's beer sitting uh in my uh seat okay that's fine are they closed or beer that I bought from Quick Trip sure hours ago is it closed or open closed okay that's fine you can have sealed containers of alcohol in your car yeah it's it's in case God hands are cold yeah I know well we offered to let you sit in the car it's like 8° out right now chly out here huh I know not my favorite time of the year did you shut it off yep all right let's go sit let's go sit in here and then you can get warmed up before we go to ma tell tell me why you're putting me in the back seat I'm giving you a ride to Mayo so that we can to do Fields where it's warmer uh for what because you admitted to consuming alcohol and you're slurring and I can smell the alcohol on you okay are you going to go through Fields what do you mean the standard field sobriety tests are you going to go through them with me give me a reason why because you admitted to drinking alcohol and you're slurring your words and I can smell alcohol on you but I was not driving I watched you drive from downtown and then come Park over here do you have proof of that yeah my eyes cool are you going to go through field sobriety tests otherwise I can make my decision based on what I've seen here regardless you're put me in a scab aren't you I don't have handcuffs on you do I no are you going to ride to Mayo to go through standard field sobriety tests or am I going to be making my decision B because it's warm and it's cold as heck out here and you even said it's cold and you're saying that your hands are cold because it's like 6° they're very would you like a ride to Mayo to do standard field sobriety tests tell me why you're taking me to Mayo because they have a big Bay I can drive into and it's warmer in there stand what's your reason to do standard field sobriety tests of what to determine if you're safe to be driving I'm not driving you were driving you drove in here and parked I was parked right here when you pulled up I was parked not driving I was parked are you going to do standard field sobriety tests or am I making my decision based on what I've seen up until this point it's your choice I will agree with you if I can have one cigarette no you don't run the show yes or no you quick make sure and then uh we'll deal with him okay okay no I'm blind that's why I have glasses so you can't see my finger at all if you don't have your glasses on yes okay can I have you set your hat down once this part's over then I'll have you put it back on you still listening right Jeremy put the phone down put it down she's asking me if I can see without all my glasses it's a normal question to ask when you run somebody through Fields when they have glasses on M I'm just trying to listen speak louder so my mom can hear I only need to speak so that you can hear me stand with your feet together speak so my stand with your feet together and your arms at your sides yep arms at your sides can you see my finger GL is on or off can you see my finger it's a yes or no question yes okay you'll be following the tip of my finger with your eyes and your eyes only you're not going to be moving your head yep okay yep I'll be can I have you just turn a little bit your glasses are reflecting and I can't see your eyes I'm just going to turn you this way a little bit perfect okay can you tilt your chin just a bit why didn't you do this in the field feel arms at your side un your arms at your sides can you tilt your chin just a little bit [ __ ] neck hurts I got a broken NE well I did say a little bit I did say tilt your chin just a little bit just a little bit for do you want me to look at you finger I've been looking at it for a while yes but I need you to tilt your chin down just a little bit hold on I got to running no I had Co a weeked half not kidding tilt your chin just a little bit perfect up or down what the [ __ ] you want if if you listen I tell you exactly what you need to do yeah but you said tilt your chin yeah tilt your chin down down I've said down several times okay side tilt your chin down don't move your head only follow my finger with your eyes do you understand yep make sure to keep your head still because your head followed my finger your head followed my finger again try to use only your eyes your head is still moving you got a long finger look at my finger keep your head still I'm going to redo that one make sure to look at my finger what's wrong Neer okay keep looking at my finger keep your head still [Music] I thought you couldn't see my finger without your glasses well as be weird CU When you go above my glasses below my the rim gets in the way okay okay so the next one will be the walk-in turn we've got some I can't walk on table I want over why I told you I had a couple gr okay ear you don't have to stand right next to me so we've got a a couple of lines in here if you do you want to use one of the cracks in the cement or would you rather use a non an area that's not crack you're the one walking what are you more comfortable with I'm not going to tell you what to pick you're a grown-up you can choose so if you want to stand on a line here here over here jemy Jeremy so if you want to use a line you can otherwise just imagine a line coming off of your left foot put your left foot on the line or the imaginary line put your right foot heeled to toe in front of your left this I why and I already told you I okay what do you want me to do put your left foot on the line right foot heel to toe right in front of your left and AR arms at your sides and stand just like I am yep right foot heel to toe in front of your left just like me okay you're not doing it though your right foot will be in front of your left Heel To Toe can't you ready that tomorrow Jeremy I need your right foot in front of your left you've got your left in front of your right yep and I need you to stand just like that this is called the instructional stance I'll need you to stand like that while I explain and demonstrate the walk and turn for you y okay so don't move out of that until I tell you to begin okay I can't do this why not I'm not sing would you like to do the walk and turn test are you going to do it you need your arms at your sides yep stay just like that until I'm done demonstrating it I'll tell you when to begin when I tell you to begin you'll be taking a series of nine steps you'll do a turn and you'll do nine return steps I'm going to demonstrate it it'll look like this 1 2 3 and so on you go to nine I only went to three leave your front foot on the line use your back foot to take a series of small steps to turn yourself and you'll do nine return Heel To Toe steps one 2 3 and so on until you get to nine so while you're doing this I want you to keep your eyes on your feet count out loud and keep your arms at your sides and don't what and then don't stop until the exercise is done I just I haven't told you to begin Jeremy I want to give you your best shot I just want to give you your best shot at this so while you're doing this make sure to count out loud give me an example an example of what can can you do nine forward nine back no to speed it up I did three would you like me to do it again oh so I only got to do three no I said you do nine I only went to three to speed up to speed up the demonstration would you like me you did three would you like me to do it again for you or do you understand the exercise I want you to do nine you don't run the show I did three to speed this up and I'm asking you to do nine so I can only do three no you do nine do you understand the exercise or do you want me to explain it again I heard you clear okay well when you're ready then you can begin you only have to do three why do I have to n because I told you to when you're ready you can begin if you understand if you want me to re explain something tell me not do n you may begin give me an example of nine are you refusing to do the walk and turn no then you may begin 8 9 10 2 3 4 5 6 okay so the last one you do three so the last test will be the oneel leg stand I love you stand with your feet together can I do this I already told you do you want to do the one leg stand or no your chice what okay okay I'll have you stand with your feet together and your arms at your sides while I explain the exercise I've been doing that the whole time when I tell you to begin you can raise a leg either one it doesn't matter which one approximately 6 Ines off the ground your foot parallel to the ground and you'll count out loud 1,1 1,2 13 and so on until I tell you to stop it'll be approximately 30 seconds while you're doing this I want you to you I haven't told you to begin I just want to give you the best shot at this while you're doing it keep your arms at your sides your eyes on your raised foot and count out loud you can begin1 1002 1345 no are you done do I told you to keep going until I told you to stop and that it would be approximately 30 seconds okay I deny that are you willing to do a breath sample for the PBT what give me a reason why I'm asking you if you would do a breath sample for the PBT and I'm asking you a reason why a reason why to make sure you're not so intoxicated that the hospital staff needs to take a look at you a what to make sure that you're not so intoxicated that the hospital staff might want to take a look at you are you willing to do it yes yes or no nope I'm temp to well based on my observations I'm placing you under arrest for ow hey M you still on the phone up a long time AG you did I'm okay we've got to go back out to my car cuz I've got a form I got to read to you uh I got your phone in your hat do you want your hat back on your hat back on uh yes yes please can you put my phone on P well before you get in the car we have to search you and I'll put all of your property up front with my with in the front of my car I totally have a lot of weapons like bombs and [ __ ] okay I think that's the funniest thing to joke about so oh I shouldn't joke about that probably not okay sorry hold on I'm just going to search you before we go back in the car just so we can get this good time H I probably shouldn't say it huh I actually did not hear you okay that's good he did though you want my my body cam might have heard you oh you got your body cam on sure do thank God yeah I know I got smokes there can I have one quick please no thank you come on can I have okay I'll have you sit back in my car I got a form I got to read to you and then we'll be going back inside a form come on you can't even do this off the top of your head nope it's actually pretty long oh oh my God and I got to read it verbatim so I'd rather read it so I don't mess it up oh you got to do protocol huh yeah of course have smoke no Dam darn it shoot oh good you got her yes no problem last there you go well thank you no problem got yeah I miss
