on January 13 2023 police officers responded to emergency 9-1-1 call reporting a hit-and-run crash officers first talk with the victim of the crash and later Tracked Down The Suspect who is extremely intoxicated oh so we're looking for the other half oh they they left yep so she's checking on this one recorded so what happened um I was coming out was very slowly coming here um after getting some food Morgan I've been I'm gonna hit and run I'm literally on 124th by acetunos you gotta go get Kenzo the police are here okay can you go pick him up you'll see if you drive down 120 I'm just shocked because the the person did a hit and run tonight even drove off I'm trying to speak to a police officer right now okay okay okay you're pulling out of this parking lot here yeah I just ordered from the burrito guys you know and um they're pretty far away these there were cars here so I was just pulling into the middle to wait and they were coming towards me and they just didn't slow down at all and hit the car I don't know where because it happened so fast my car spun around it wasn't facing this direction before they hit me pretty hard and yeah okay that's what I was trying to figure out so you were facing this direction yeah I was coming real slow to be in this in okay all right I don't know where they hit me I could see are you okay do you need any like medical or are you working well I think I'm just as shocking I'm really stressed I have a special needs kid I'm supposed to be picking up at six o'clock okay well you don't have any airbag deployments this is pretty pretty substantial uh and I'm not even because the guy was like can I move out and I was trying to drive the car out of here but I'm not sure because it was gonna make it so so you're gonna you're not gonna be able to drive this out you're gonna have to do a toe oh go back what was the vehicle description of the vehicle that hit you it was like a silver I'm really bad with cars it's like it's not a sedan I think it's like an SUV so kind of like what you're driving here no I think it was taller it was kind of boxy okay I guess that lady saw it you said silver oh yeah all right right place right on the side he's in his car it's a it's a mountain is Mercury okay I just parked like on the side like where the other place is he's in there a bunch of crap in his heart it's a silver Subaru it's a Mercury SUV Mercury okay and you said it's in the auto auto yeah like if you go sideways like right where the auto body is like almost where the road is I have a witness saying that the vehicle is parked in the auto body shop it's like right in between like right after 10 to 11. I was like okay but it's kind of went far all right so a Mercury SUV yeah I'm pretty sure it's like sdb something I didn't want him to see me like checking them out because I didn't want him to type it off while out on patrol officer notices a vehicle matching the driver's description and conducts a traffic stop I'll be contacting a vehicle in front of cart Clark's wheel alignment Boy George Sam zero five five six foreign step out of the car for me you all right don't grab a seat on the curb up here okay all right man grab a seat okay you got any weapons on you no okay just show you where you're being audio video recorded okay what happened man I'm not sure okay what happened to your car appears intoxicated are you hurt did you hit your head or anything no do you need to have fire check you out medically no where are you coming from man where were you trying to get to down the street home or work or food where's home what's an address okay just down the street yeah that's not far where are we at before this which store what's the name of the store to go ahead like the gas station yeah and you don't know what happened to the car how much have you had a drink tonight foreign are you willing to let me do some voluntary field sobriety tests just to make sure you're safe to be driving yeah yeah okay are you okay to stand up you fell over before no no I tripped okay okay um yeah right there is fine um you don't think you had any head injuries or anything but obviously it looks like your vehicle was involved in a collision is that what happened there I'm not sure okay I before then you're gonna take a series of nine steps along that line while you're taking those steps I'm going to have you look down at your feet count your steps out loud keep your arms down at your side and once you begin the test don't stop until you've completed the test do you understand yeah it's going to look like this I'm gonna do three steps for the purposes of demonstration you'll do nine one two three and so on until you get to nine you'll take a series of small steps around that lead foot and then you'll take one two three and so on until you've done nine steps back down the line do you understand yeah yeah okay let's get you back in that position straight line out of your Left Foot Right Foot Heel To Toe in front of it and hands down at your side do you understand the one foot either foot you can choose you're gonna hold it six inches off the ground with your foot parallel to the ground and count out loud in the following manner 1001 1002 1003 and so on until I tell you to stop I want you to look down at your foot Point your toe keeps your hands down at your side and don't stop until I tell you to do you understand okay give me one second and then I'll get there's some papers in here some sort of cash or something maybe all right I got a bunch of change here do you mind popping the back here and there should be some bags that we can throw this stuff in for Mr Coleman quite a bunch more and through a um all right Travis I'm gonna read something to you okay you have the right to remain silent anything you say can be used against unicorn law you have the right of this time to talk to a lawyer and haven't present with you while you're being questioned but you can't afford to hire a lawyer one will be appointed to represent you before questioning if underneath or something because it looks like this has a pocket right here or something there's there's shorts but there's nothing in there it's just changed yeah all right should I try and get that out from the layer underneath there um I think there's change in these must be in the shorts underneath unless I'm just missing it somehow it's all right we can figure that out in the jail okay all
