on January 14th 2023 police officers in Michigan responded to a 911 call claiming some kids set a couch on fire your incident has been [Music] [Music] updated in hey come here come here come here's going got him yeah that's it everybody else ran inside put your hands out 35 there you want additional we just got a couch on fire right now try to put it out [Applause] you got yours what you got yours yeah I do he's in the back of your car y that's fine [Applause] [Applause] hey get out of here let's try to get the Bas you ID him yet NOP grab them six I didn't know what you had for is he running away from it he he was here yeah standing right by it um so I'm thinking um his name uh I'm Rand that's what happen yeah yeah [Applause] your name name last same date of birth uh phone number with my friends we were walking home and we stopped to see what was going on and these kids l a fire that's all I got to say I these kids who are these kids I have no idea me and my buddies were at the bar and we walked home and we at L house okay walking home we were walking home and then these kids are letting the couch on fire so we we stopped by and they're both behind I mean that's all there is so you stop by when I roll up you're standing right there right by the fire yes sir you see my lights obviously and you head up to that door why you going up to that door I was what do you mean you you said you don't live here you don't know the kids that let the fire I'm assuming they're the ones that let the fire here at this house no I don't live here huh I don't live here no I know but what I'm saying is you don't live here I'm assuming they're the ones that Lit the fire yeah they're the on because the fire is in front of their place okay when I roll up you're standing right there and then walk up to their front door yeah yeah so you know them I I I mean I do know that I don't so who lit the fire um dude if if you don't tell me I mean somebody else is going to yeah yeah no no I I understand um I I I I I have no idea who at the fire so you you I mean I guess so you're willing to go down for your friends I mean no I I I no not I just I don't know who the fire okay all right sounds good stay back here for me police department the window when I walk up run back he says he has fire he he walked up to this door and I grabbed him [Applause] my any anything this couch is right in front of your house did you see anything I can't said I did no okay well I got somebody in the back of my car right now he's going to take the fall for it if one of you don't pass up I'm not we we just came together we got here 30 not even a minute ago okay so I want to talk to somebody who's here and that Lit that fire we we don't know who lit the fire I think that's [ __ ] I wouldn't bu you guys because there's a bunch of you guys now seven of you that I see one of you knows who lit the fire I I got it back just came back okay so go find somebody that knows who at the fire and bring them out here you can you can yeah all right let's let's go why we still standing here huh I said we'll ask round and let you guys on they're obviously not going to cooperate so I don't got anything I mean I and I don't know what you got on that kid cuz I didn't see him I was still coming down Charles what what's that city ordinance within 300 ft of a fire I don't know the number top my head changed it um when they were doing the ordinance review and revamp okay it's disorderly um yeah I wouldn't take them to jail no no no I I mean you could if you had it but I don't I didn't see anything oh I mean I I could he he was right there he didn't have like a fire extinguisher he wasn't doing anything to try and put it out no no yeah I would justly what is the what is it you know the specific verbage or no no I'm going to go for I'll send it damn I didn't even you forgot sir I shouldn't have turned my sirens [Applause] on obviously everyone I talk to they're like no I don't know I didn't see anything I just got here so I don't got anything from [Applause] them you go to hey I didn't search him I patted him down okay and I have I put his beer on the top of your car okay [Applause] you guys are my heroes you guys are my heroes there pretty touch and go you guys use your extinguishers yeah I heard that's from yeah did you say yes no heard we'll give you guys extinguishers if you give us guns this is the this is the only K in the house good did you see it yeah all all I saw was some kids do you know who they are no were you out here no I wasn't out here I was up in my room but I saw it through my window how many kids do you see out here there's about two or three run through here that's all I saw and you don't know who they are no I don't okay which way did they go they went that way right after they did it they ran like towards that street okay did you see anyone out here no I didn't you don't know who they were or anything like that so you got so some random group of guys your guys frat house with a couch that they got from who knows where front of your frat house and then l i I was doing homework I don't know what what we know the history of this frat right so we know that you guys aren't Angels out here in the city right we right you guys tickets all the time noise tickets all that stuff I'm saying you four are the ones who did it but somebody knows something and like like I said I got somebody in the back of my car I don't know if you guys know him or not but he's going to take the fault for all of it unless someone fesses up I know no sweat off my back sweat off of his but if I if I knew like I'm not I don't know I obviously don't know who's back there but I would ra I would tell I would tell you if it was someone that I know that because I don't want well that's fine I mean I I'm trying to make this as easy as possible he came up to your guys' door so I'm willing to bet that he knows you guys so but at you saw them light it I I didn't see I just saw them move over here and and some [ __ ] happened I I was just try to text the guys to get back here cuz they were all at the bar for the none of us were here we at our then we all literally came back and it was already lit on fire yeah you guys are already here when we are or they all came back when you like when I came back like that's when the knock on the door happen so I open okay and I'm not I'm not lying here all right I'm trying to make this easy as possible we got somebody that's getting a ticket so yeah all right sounds good to me have a good [Music] night this home
