hello welchire welcome to my pad my name's Chris and I'm going to show you what I've done in my garden to prevent me being a victim of burglary first things first let me show you my motion sensor light as soon as someone walk past it lights up the whole of my driveway which burglar hate I've also made sure that my hedges don't grow too high so it makes it more difficult for criminals to hide behind them let me show you how I keep my possessions safe so this is my daughter's bike I've bought a DNA Property marking kit which marks the bike with a unique code so if it's ever stolen the police can prove that I own it I've also registered it on immobilize tocom which is the UK's property register so if it's ever stolen it can get back to me this is my garden gate it's nicely robust so someone's going to struggle to force it open I've also padlocked and bolted it at the top so it's going to be really difficult to get in one thing I also make sure I do is I don't store my bins near to my gate because someone could just hop over using my bins now over to my patio door I make sure my patio door is always locked and bolted and I've even chosen laminated shatterproof glass to make it all the more difficult for someone to get in I love a garden ornament but I don't have them anywhere near my back door because that could be something that a thief might use to get into my house right better go burglar to catch
