On August 11th, 2025, at approximately 7:46 in the morning, officers with the Little Rock Police Department [music] responded to a traffic crash at the intersection of East 9th Street and the I-30 Frontage Road West in Pulaski County, Arkansas, where both drivers [music] were reportedly trapped inside their damaged vehicles. >> Morning. >> Hey. Hey. >> She was stuck inside of her window and her airbag and everything. She was fine, but she's claiming leg injuries. She's saying that this car ran the red light and she suspects >> Where was she at? >> Tiffany. I guess she was going forward and she and this one was going I guess this way and they hit and turned this way. I guess I don't know. The way she's turned around right now, she's supposed to be going pretty fast, too. >> Right. >> Yeah, he was going fast, man. Ran that damn light and hit this woman. And the other driver's still in here. He's also claiming injuries. >> Okay. Hey, sir. Are you able to get out the car and move? Okay. Do you speak English? No? Okay. >> So, what? How's the other people doing? >> They're trying to get her out. They had to cut They used to have to cut uh >> So, what? >> They had to cut the driver out. He's just asking how they >> cut the airbag out for for the need to open the door. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> she was complaining of leg injuries, but the other firefighters are over there right now helping her out. >> Does he say he's injured or if it was leg? >> She said her legs hurt, abdomen, and her chest and all that. What do you need from him, officer? >> Uh just information. I need your driver's license. Okay. >> According to the crash report, [music] the incident involved two vehicles and was classified as an angle collision, commonly known as a T-bone crash. Palma suffered suspected minor injuries and was transported to UAMS Medical Center after complaining of chest and neck pain. >> Right leg, left hand, neck, and back. >> Which hospital do you want to go to today, sweetie? >> UAMS. >> UAMS? Miss Tiffany, are you going to be okay with riding with the other drive with the other driver of the other car? Do you need to get another ambulance for your other party? I I don't know. He speaks Spanish and my partner's taking care of that right now, okay? You want us to do it or do you want to try to stand up? >> The driver of the second vehicle, a 2018 Hyundai Sonata, was identified as 46-year-old Tiffany L. McGee. McGee also stated that she had a green light at the time of the crash. According to the report, she suffered suspected serious injuries and required extrication before being transported to the hospital. >> Hey, Sarge. I was on my way to my school and I've been out here for about 15 minutes on this this is a pretty bad wreck cuz I was pulling up and nobody was out here. Um fire and rescue are out here. I keyed up on secondary to see if somebody was coming, but you know, downtown just had a shooting. I was on I was on my way to Southwest. It was 20 minutes ago. I was getting on the freeway right here on I-30 and uh Magellan, like like 9th and Magellan. All right. And the only reason I I pulled over, of course, I'm in a police car and then the signs are tore down and nobody else was out here. And the lady got stuck in the car. She's still stuck in the car, actually. The other driver. >> Yeah. >> The truck in the front of the news light. >> Tiffany, where all that hurt at? Just the >> She said her leg. So, she's complaining about her shoulder. >> Are they uh monitor out and move that all the way down. >> Sounds 41 where the EMS >> Uh-oh. >> He was going this way from this way. >> All right. Take literally our 2010 Camry. No street unit that can come available to take an accident with injury involved on traffic light at Furnace and East 9th. I just let you know I'm out here stuck on this accident on I-30 and East 9th. I already told Sergeant with his phone, but she told me to key up my main. I just done that. That was 30 minutes ago. 41 10-14. What you say? I was getting on the inter- about to get on the interstate, you know, right here on East 9th and I ran up up on this accident. I'm just waiting. Well, I already told Sergeant with his phone. I thought somebody would be in here by now. They say nobody available. They did just have a shooting, but Sergeant Witherspoon said people got to got uh available for me cuz they told me they disregarded additional units. >> 42 is 20-24. >> translate for me? The report also listed McGee's driver's license status as suspended with conflicting statements from both drivers, investigators were left to determine exactly what happened in the moments leading up to the impact.
