There's already >> in Rest, Connecticut. >> Do not move. >> That woman just opened fire inside a police station. >> Are these Hey, are these windows bulletproof? >> Shots fired. >> Are these windows bulletproof? >> They are bulletproof. >> Which is why the police shots returning fire did not strike the woman. >> Is she That's her right here. Right. This bizarre incident captured on police station surveillance cameras happened on October 5th, 2023. >> The troubled woman who slammed her palms on a door, wall, and notice boards, >> nope, she just went back. >> Has been identified as 51-year-old Suzanne Lric. >> Okay, she just went to the right. >> I have the gun in her hand right now. >> When it was clear she didn't have the gun in her hand, police rushed in. >> Okay. GO, GO, GO, GO, GO, GO, GO, GO. As a tasered lee screamed, one officer kicked her gun away across the floor. >> Everyone good? >> Y >> good. Okay. 17. >> This all began moments earlier when Lrice in the red jacket walked into the police station visitors lobby with a handgun pointed at her head. At this point, there was no police body camera audio. There was also nobody at the lobby desk behind the window. Lee knocked with her gun 17 times. Seemingly frustrated, Lrice then paced and knocked some more. She then fired her first shot at that side door. You can see dust fall from the ceiling. Moments later, Lrice fired two shots at the lobby window. Bang, that was one. And bang, that was a second. Lrice paced before taking a seat and smoking a cigarette. Lrice got up, dropped her gun on that chair, and took her jacket off while puffing on her cigarette. Then, after throwing down the jacket, she picked up the gun again and went back to the chair she'd been sitting in. She took a few more drags on her cigarette and then fired again at the lobby window. >> We got do not move. >> Here's the view from the police body camera. >> We got do not move. >> Do not move. Brian, >> are these Hey, are these windows bulletproof? Shots fired. >> Are these windows bulletproof? We got two cars going off to the front of >> you got [snorts] it. That's her right here. Le Price was taken to a hospital for evaluation before being jailed. According to records, she worked for the Connecticut Department of Developmental Services for 12 years. It's a department which helps people with disabilities. Hurst Media reports that Le Price, a state worker, had gone to a nearby sports bar in Bristol with a friend, revealed that she was deeply depressed and said she was planning to go to the police station to tell cops, "Kill me or I will kill you." Le Price is being held on nine felony charges, including criminal attempted murder, illegal discharge of a firearm, violating pistol permit requirements, and illegal possession of a large capacity magazine. An investigation determined that the gun she used belonged to her boyfriend, a retired New York City police officer. The price is now being held on a $3 million bond. The story is tragic on so many levels, and it is miraculous that nobody got hurt. If you or anybody you know is suffering and has expressed a plan to hurt themselves, please dial the National Suicide Prevention Hotline by calling or texting 988 or by calling 1 8002738255. By the way, American politics can certainly be daunting these days. And to underscore that, many Trump supporters do not seem to know what it means to be in a cult. >> If you look at the definition of a cult, they take away your rights. They take away your choices. They control your finances. Um, I don't think this is cult. I think that people are learning. We're we're digging deeper than we ever have before. We're asking hard questions that we weren't asking for the last 30, 40, 50 years. It's not a cult. We want answers. >> When President Trump was in office, did you believe the metrics then? >> Uh, not from the mainstream media, but anything that he said generally in his administration, I believed. So, if it was coming from him, it was it was gospel. Because there are a lot of people that say, "Well, that's turning a blind eye to things if you're only trusting the person who's saying it." Almost it's cultlike. Does this feel cultlike at all to you? >> No, not at all. In fact, what's cultlike to me is watching the mainstream media and listen to the uh the existing administration. >> Check out that video at the link below. I'm David Schuster. Thanks for joining us.
