Ma'am, you got about another minute to find your keys or and then you need to get walking. >> I know my rights, sir. >> Good. Can I see your ID? Please get out of here, ma'am. So, is she given her one more time to look for her keys? Um If she keeps giving the runaround, not finding her keys, uh I'm going to tell her to get walking. She's already basically just said, "I know my rights." Meaning she's not going to do it. And at that point, uh she'll go to jail. And then, uh the vehicle itself being on Yellow Cab property, you want to call a tow truck. >> So, attempting to locate them, officer? >> Well, you got about another 30 seconds to locate them and then you need to get walking. >> Ma'am, I know my rights, sir. Step out. >> As a result, the 59-year-old woman was given two charges: armed trespass on property and resisting an officer without violence. Now, if you're wondering if she received any jail time or any probation or if she was convicted on either or both of the two charges, instead of being a guilty or not guilty verdict, she underwent Florida pre-trial intervention or PTI, which is an agreement on a diversion program. And if she successfully completes it, the state generally dismisses the criminal charges instead of prosecuting them. Now, the length of this pre-trial intervention supervision is for 36 months, where she must obey all laws, either maintain employment, seek employment, or attend school full-time, not possess any firearm, and the PTI officer may visit the defendant's home, visit work, inspect school attendance, or ask questions during supervision. She also has to complete 50 hours of community service, and lastly, she cannot use any drugs or alcohol. And if successful, this supervision may be terminated after 18 months. And once again, if she successfully completes this, the state will dismiss the charges, and [snorts] there will be no criminal prosecution on these offenses. And if you're wondering what happens if she violates the PTI, well, the PTI agreement becomes void, the state may resume prosecution, and the defendant can then be convicted and sentenced on the original charges of armed trespass and resisting officer without violence. Let me know your honest thoughts down below on this case. Stay safe out there, and I'll see you in the next video. >> It's okay, and I know my rights. >> You have a gun? Are you kidding me? DROP THE [ __ ] >> OH. >> DROP THE BAG NOW. >> THERE IT IS. >> OW. RESISTING. >> OW. >> MA'AM, roll over. Put your hands behind your back. >> OW. OW.
