A man gets pulled over for having the wrong color tail lights and before long the officer notices something inside his vehicle. >> How we doing? >> Good. >> Good. My name's Deputy Plummer. I'm with the Putnam County Sheriff's Office. Do you know why I'm stopping you today? >> No, sir. I really don't. >> You don't. Okay. Uh first reason's going to be your >> So, my front end is hooked up. I don't know if you seen me jerking to the left. I'm trying to get it home. I just drove from an hour away from a spot that I had it at. >> Okay. Um >> I don't know if that's the reason cuz I know it pulls to the right. I did have someone following me. I know it pulls to the right. So, that's why I just kept on driving. I just wanted to get home. I drove from an hour away. I'm trying to drive it home. >> Got you. Um so, like I said, I'm pulling you over cuz you have no red tail lights. Your tail lights are white. >> They're white? >> No, they're white. All right? Uh secondly is going to be modified exhaust. Uh thank you for letting me know that it was modified with your exhibition of exhaust at the stop light at 207 and 17 where you decided to just keep on flooring it. All right? Do you have your registration and insurance? Anything to drink tonight? No, sir. What's up with the Twisted Tea? Okay. Nothing to drink tonight? Can I get your license, please? It's okay. Do you still live on Hastings? What do you do for work? I need to I need you to open where it says digital ID card. All right. Sit tight for me. I'll be right back. 1489 you're on the subject added, please. >> 64959790 >> Cool. >> Yes, sir. Yes, sir. 1491 >> All right. Uh nothing to drink tonight or anything like that? Consumed any type of narcotics, controlled substances, marijuana, prescription medications, or anything like that? >> I'm sorry, I'm just driving home like I said, and like I've had this truck sitting for about 2 weeks. >> Mhm. >> And I just got paid. I got all the parts that are at my house, so I'm driving it home. I have my uncle following me. He passed. He's coming back right now. And I'm just taking it home. Like I said, I swerved a little bit cuz my front end's [ __ ] up, which you can see my stereo was just to the side. That's my uncle right there. My stereo was just to the side, and I was just trying to get to the house, so I could work on it for a week, you know, sir. >> Okay. >> That's it. I mean, yes, I understand twisted keys and key cans in here. I've been in and out of here over 2 weeks. It's closed. So, I didn't know it was right there. I didn't look. I wasn't paying attention I drove the truck after I got off of work. I started driving to here. I understand the exhaust is loud, and I'm sorry. But other than that, it's >> Got you. I need you to do a couple of field sobriety real quick just to make sure you're okay to drive. >> No, I do not want to see. >> You don't want to? >> No, sir. >> Okay. So, you have you understand if you refuse to do field sobriety, I have to make a decision based off of the indicators that I've seen, that I've been met with. Absent you doing any field sobriety. >> Um I understand that y'all could take my license for over a year. >> Yeah, you So, what I'm getting at is I have reasonable suspicion based off of speaking with you and your driving pattern not and I understand you saying the front end's messed up, but you know, the exhibition of the exhaust and stuff like that to believe that you could possibly be impaired and that your normal faculties could be impaired. >> Okay. >> be that. I've worked >> Fair enough. >> 12 hours a day cutting grass. >> I I hear what you're saying. I work 12 hour shifts outside, too, okay? I get it. All right? But, like I said, I would like to make sure your normal faculties are not impaired and that you are okay to drive. It's up to you if you want to do them or not. >> I won't drive it. Someone else can drive the truck. >> Okay. It It's up to you if you're going to do the field sobriety or not, sir. >> No, sir. >> You're not going to do it. >> I would not like to. I just want to >> Okay. Okay. Are you willing to give a breath sample? >> Uh no, sir. >> No? Okay. Fair enough. You pulled away. >> But but but >> BUT BUT BUT NO BUT BUT. There's no but but. >> No, can I take a piss, officer? Please, I haven't had to take a piss for over an hour that I've been driving. >> There's no but but. >> Okay, you don't have to be so rough with me, man. I'm asking nicely. You grabbed me, threw me on the ground for what? Because >> Because I told you to put your hands behind your back and you pulled away. That's not how that works. >> the law is if I refuse it, that's just a refusal. >> Which means you go to jail. >> For what? >> Because I had suspicion to believe you're impaired. >> How? I got no Do you see no thing? It's closed. >> Walk over here. >> Can I please take a piss first before you put me in >> You already pissed your pants. >> No, I really didn't. I have to take a piss. Can I please piss? So, if I could piss with these handcuffs behind me, I could piss. >> Absolutely. If you can figure out a way to to >> Okay, am I allowed to walk to the back of the car then? >> We're going to walk to the other side of the car. You reach around yourself with this arm. >> I cannot. I have small >> Just enough to to pull your pants down? >> No, I can't. I have small arms. They say, "Please, I'm going to pee myself." >> I won't move. I won't run. I'm complaining. >> I got you. >> Are you serious, bro? You see I'm complaining, bro. >> Come see for me. He's signal one, bro. >> That's what I was trying to arrest him for. >> He's signal one. >> I know. A couple with those things I walked up. He's super slow reactions. When I asked for his license, starts to grab a starts to grab a debit card. The whole nine yards. Then gives me his driver's license and I said, "So you say your front end's messed up?" He sure it wasn't a twisted T cuz he had a closed one in the cup holder. He's like, "Oh, no, this is old. I just picked this truck up 2 weeks ago. I'm starting to smell alcohol." The whole nine yards. So, come back here, write him a warning, whatever. I go up. I'm like, "Hey, man, you have anything to drink tonight?" "No, no, no, no, no." Okay. Well, do me a favor, turn the truck off, hop out for me. Super compliant. We get back here. He's probably about where his tail light's at. I'm talking to him. "Hey, man, just based off things I've seen and stuff, I want to uh uh make sure you're okay to drive and your normal faculties aren't impaired cuz I have reason to believe they might be. Are you willing to do SFSTs? No, no, no, I'm not going to do that. I said, "Okay, I'm letting you know. I have to make you know, give him the whole spiel. I have to make my decision based off what I've seen. If you don't do this, there are these consequences, da da da da da." He's like, "No, I'm not going to do it." I said, "All right, you want to give me a breath sample at the jail?" And he's like, "No." I said, "Okay. Put your hands behind your back." Go to grab him, and he starts pulling away. I try to throw him. He ducks under me as I'm as I'm as I'm trying to push him down like this, he ducks under me. He goes that way. We go around. We come back around this way. The truck The other truck that was here stopped now cuz they were he was following him. Um he had gone down, come back around, and pulled up, but he stayed in his truck the whole time. He starts running towards that truck, and I just lit his ass up, and he went >> Yeah, he's signal one. >> Oh, and he pissed himself when I tased him. >> Okay, he is signal one. >> Yeah. Yeah. He's signal one AF. >> Yeah. >> And he's on felony probation. >> I know, I saw him on the way in. >> [laughter] >> So, uh resisting, DUI, VOP. >> Um let's inventory this truck real quick. Arizona makes hard tea? >> Yeah, they're actually kind of good. Uh it's locked. I have it. >> Is my wife able to take my >> No, sir, it's getting towed. >> What about my stuff? >> It'll remain inside of your vehicle. >> Okay, so >> The items that were in on your person when I arrested you, with the exception of the vape, will be taken to the county jail, where they will be placed in your property, and you'll be able to retrieve that upon being released from jail. You're being charged with uh driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, refusal, and resisting arrest without violence, and violation of probation. Your violation of probation is for committing a new law violation while on felony probation. That is a no bond. >> Yeah, I asked uh resisting arrest. >> Yes, sir. When I instructed you to place your hands behind your back, you tensed up and pulled away from me. >> Um >> Due to that, I then attempted to take you down to the Yes, because I was placing you under arrest. >> something, please? >> Uh sure. >> You grabbed me with force. >> Because I was placing you under arrest. >> And I understand that completely, but before you even got the full words out of your mouth of put your hands behind your back, you grabbed me with force. And I don't >> Not with force. I simply grabbed your wrist. >> Yes, you did. >> As you started to back away. >> Are you seeing how I've been >> on camera. >> That's fine, but you'll all see how I've been compliant. I asked to take a picture. >> Sir. Sir. Sir, let me explain something to you, sir. Attempting to run from a law enforcement officer after they've given you a lawful command is not compliance. That is resisting to the point that I had to taze you to stop you from further resisting and eluding me. >> I'm I'm scared because you're a lot bigger than me. >> scared Being Okay, being scared is not a valid excuse for trying to run from the police, sir. You are under arrest. >> You're a lot bigger than me. >> He said he was scared cuz I'm a lot bigger than him. >> Having white tail lights instead of red ones put Florida police onto his trail, but the next woman in Georgia would get the attention of an officer after she honked at one for blocking a portion of the street. Shortly after being honked at, he'd get behind her, run her tag, and then realize that she has no valid license. And what she do next would land her in state prison for the next 2 years of her life. >> Ma'am, why are you getting out of the car? >> Oh, what's up? >> Now, stay out of the car, ma'am. >> I'm not going to. I'm sorry. >> you stand right there for me. Stand. Come up. Stand right there at the back of your car. >> I don't have my license. I was just trying to tell you. I don't have my license. I'm trying to get home. That's why I'm sorry. >> Why you get out of the car like that? >> Because I was just trying I thought you were another officer that I knew. That's all. >> What other officer? >> It's a black a black He's kind of shorter than you. >> 47891 OLN 0565 Do you have a license? >> No, I just have my learner's. I'm not going to lie. I just have my learner's. So, I was trying to get home and I'm tired of driving. I don't have a clean record. I'm kind of scared right now because >> 47891 was that for me? >> Huh? I've never been pulled over driving before. >> Yeah, what's the expiration date on that? >> Is it over? >> Let's go. >> I'm trying to get my life. >> Yeah, you've been expired for over a year. >> I didn't know that. >> All right. >> Do I got to go to jail? >> Yes. Anybody else inside the car? >> Oh my god. >> Where you going, ma'am? >> You're not going anywhere. I want to go to jail. >> Is it a bun? All right. >> Officer, officer, can you just please just let her drive for me? >> No, ma'am. You're going to jail. Oh, the reason why I stopped you for running that stop sign back there though. >> Man, can you just give me a ticket? I I please. >> Can't give you a ticket for driving on a license. >> Please. >> No, ma'am. >> Please. Please. >> Do me a favor, take your bag off and put your hands behind your back. >> Okay. You need to put the gloves on it. >> Yeah, now once she ran both of five, I got it. >> He saw me in my ass, though. What the [ __ ] man? Really? >> Yeah, now you got to search. >> It's all my belongings. All my belongings, right? What the [ __ ] You ain't got no god damn by my neck. Oh, you hurt me. >> Come on. >> You [ __ ] hurt me. You just hurt me. >> [sighs] >> And you know you will. Stop doing it. Man, ouch. >> I mean, I got it, but >> You really hurting me. >> Yeah, go ahead and get it out of there. >> Can I get my book bag? My money is in there. [ __ ] Can I get my shoes? My shoes are right there. >> Stop. >> You not finna do all that. Police is [ __ ] hurt my hand. >> I don't care. >> Okay. You over do You not supposed to do that. >> Yes, I am. >> No, you don't. No. I'm going to go back. You need to call the police. >> You ain't I don't know what you going for. >> Okay. See, you ain't going to let me out. You ain't going to let me out. Hell. My whole lot of belongings. >> Uh, you want your belongings? >> Are both of these all right? >> No. >> You are jerking on me. >> Shut up. >> You shut up. You ain't man enough, [ __ ] >> Sit down. Oh, [ __ ] man. >> And get my purse. Hey! Don't you get MY POCKETBOOK! YOU TOUCHING ME. WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU? DON'T MUSH MY [ __ ] HAIR LIKE THAT. >> MA'AM, that's assault on an officer. >> YOU JUST MUSHED MY HEAD. >> THAT'S ASSAULT on an officer. All right, ma'am. Uh do you have a license? >> I do. >> Can I see it? >> I don't have it on me. I mean, I left it at a friend's house. >> All right, you going to be the one driving away? >> Yeah. I lit I literally just got a ride in the store. Jesus Christ. You all right? >> Hey, I'm good. >> I know you're just playing. >> Spell your first name. >> J E S S I C A. I just did it here. I am not trying to catch nothing. >> Date of birth? >> 82. >> I can't believe she slid out of the bag, though. That was funny. >> I doubt that can >> She got anything in the car I need to know about? >> I don't know. I just got a ride. Well, I was at John's store. I was going to the Triple A. >> All right. And any other reason you were in the car for? Hey, yeah, if you want to, you can drive away. You good. >> I ain't never seen somebody put their >> pipe in the bag. >> pipe in the bag. >> Yeah, now she need she need weed at least. Let me make sure that's actually the medicine that it is. >> Where's the car? >> There was another uh passenger in the car and I just went ahead and let it go. >> Did she run with this bag on her? >> Yeah, I grabbed When I grabbed her, I grabbed her I thought I yanked the bag I thought I yanked her by the hair. It's just a strap of the bag. I mean, she came out that strap so clean. And then she took off running back that way. That's why I said, you know, you probably hit me on camera, too. I said, I ain't got time for this. She said, "You hit my ass." I was real close to her. I was like, this is between me and your car. I just ain't feel like running no more. >> Prosecutors would go on to drop this man's DUI and battery on a law enforcement charges, but he would be convicted guilty on resisting an officer without violence and refusal to submit DUI testing, resulting in 180 days in jail. The 35-year-old woman was charged and adjudicated guilty on obstruction of a law enforcement officer, aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, possession of drugs, and driving without a valid license. As a result, she was sent to prison for 2 years, and once she gets out in October 2027, she'll also have 9 years of probation. As always, let me know your honest thoughts on these cases down below in the comment section. Stay safe out there, and I'll see you in the next video. >> Okay. You need to have a new order. >> Yeah, now once she ran bona fide, I got her. >> You saw me in my ass, bro. >> Fair enough. Put your hands behind your back. >> Put my hands behind my back for what? >> You're being violent. >> You throwing me on the ground is illegal as [ __ ] >> 10-33 Jim Bryan Road. >> How? >> You're going to get [ __ ] tased. >> FOR WHAT? >> [screaming] >> HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK. >> HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK. >> HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK. >> [screaming]
