Officers arrive at Walmart after loss prevention notices a woman concealing numerous items in her pants, purse, and jacket. And with two members of the loss prevention staff taking turns watching the woman, one of them quickly meets with police in order to determine what to do next to the woman. >> We're watching her right now. >> Mhm. >> Uh we got her on camera concealing just like a bag >> Hey, Sergeant Davis. Sergeant Bull. >> I feel like I recognize her, but I think she used to be somebody I know. >> Mhm. >> So >> Is it that lady with her pink bag? >> The orange thing? >> Yeah. With the jacket on? >> Mhm. >> So, do you want me to let her empty her pockets and leave? >> Oh, no. So, we call y'all when they conceal stuff like that just in case they got a weapon or weapons or anything like that. But right now he's keeping a good eye on her over there. Just kind of having you hang out until she leaves just to make sure everything's okay on her end. >> Mhm. >> And we're not putting ourselves in harm's way. >> So, you don't want to get her on just on concealment. >> I'd try to get her walking out if she does with the merchandise. But we got her on camera. She was in that that purse aisle right there. Stuffing it in the bag behind her. The more we get on her, the more we can do. I don't want to jump the gun and go up there and grab her and all >> Okay. >> And what I was telling him and I don't think people do it on my face, she's got a knife. That's one of the big reasons we call y'all. >> Mhm. >> And they just don't care. >> Mhm. >> And they don't >> Mhm. >> Concealment on person and in the bag now. >> What's that? >> He has concealment on her person and in the bag. >> Okay. >> I would just I would ask her to go ahead and ask her to go to the office. See if she takes off. I mean, yeah. I mean, while we're both cuz yeah, we can't stay here real long. So, I would go ahead and say, you know, approach her and say, "Ma'am, you want to come to the office? I need to speak to you in the office." However y'all usually do it. Cuz yeah, this could rock on for quite a while if it's already been going this long. >> We can't make a stop inside the store without He says if one of you went in there and witnessed her steal something and and it was on her person, it would be better. You like the obligation. You like I think you should stay at your job. >> Mhm. >> This is a weird situation. >> Now, he's saying that just go back here and try to see go back here and try to watch. Stay at Stay back. Just tell him that he's on his way back there and try to stand off at a distance and for about 5 minutes or so and try to see if you see her do it and then go ahead right then and walk up to her and say, "I need you to go to the AP office with me." Or "We all need to go to the AP office." or whatever. Then she don't willingly do it, go ahead and cuff her and take her to the office. >> What's he wearing? >> He's wearing He's like a super tall dude wearing a gray jacket. >> Yeah, still watching on the camera. He's closer to the aisle than he was walking that way. That's the one I saw. >> I thought you were going to come and look out. I thought you said you saw a northbound 324. >> Hey. How you doing? >> Good, how are you? >> What's up? You just stuffed your waistband up there. >> I didn't stuff nothing in my waistband. That could have been much easier. >> You can walk back to the IPO. >> Could have been much, much easier. Guess what? Now you're being charged with obstruction of an officer, too. Do you understand? Resisting arrest, obstruction, do you understand that? Do you understand that? >> [clears throat] >> Take her straight to the car. We're not going to the office. You can go back to the office to find out everything she stole, but we're going to take her to the car and go around back. >> Okay. >> I got my of on her, so >> You can get that off my arm. >> No. Could you have put your hands behind your back? Yes, and you didn't. >> I didn't leave the store. Please stop. >> Correct? >> Please stop. >> You got her. Hold on, sir. You're all right, we're with you. We're going to go through everything good, but I just want you to know if you got anything stuffed anywhere else and then you don't tell us, you go inside the booking area and then they do a disrobe search on you, then it becomes a felony instead of a misdemeanor.
