Aggravated assault in Florida means an assault committed with a deadly weapon, in this case, a car, without the intent to kill or [music] with the intent to commit a felony. Ricardo was given two counts of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer. His third charge was fleeing or attempting to elude police at high speeds with a public disregard for safety under Florida statute 316.1935. His last charge was resisting or obstructing an officer without violence under Florida statute 843.02. This is a firstderee misdemeanor. In court on the two charges of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, Ricardo entered no contest p on these two counts and was adjudicated guilty on both. In court, he also entered a no contest plea on fleeing or attempting to elude police and was also adjudicated guilty and finally was adjudicated guilty on resisting or obstructing an officer without violence. He spent 127 days in jail before his court date where he was adjudicated guilty on all four counts and as a result he was sentenced to 36 months or three consecutive years inside of state prison.
