stalking her and her kids upon arriving at the mother's residence an officer found the man talking to to one of her kids alone immediately she yelled at him to get away from them and speak to her instead the following footage showcases the events that transpired next no do not do this to him what are you doing come talk to me over here not in front of them be an adult and come over here I don't trust you okay okay you're not supposed to be here I'm an American this is my right I is not your day to be here we're filing another stalking complaint against this location okay and I'm going to tell you something who my stalking all of them who I'm allowed to see my children it's not stalking on your day folks judge for the record I'm here to see my voice he's going to baseball I'm going I'm going to be there and you're not stopping me you're not to leave here I'm telling you you you're way outside your bounds you are not welcome to be here you are now stalking this family no I'm not that's my family I am telling you that you are stalking them take me to jail take me to jail you need to leave I'd rather you just take me to jail I'm here playing football with my son in the right days he was indeed transgressing it and effectively stalking the family a crime that's considered a federal felony where one can face up to 5 years in prison along with a fine of up to $250,000 you're a very frustrating human being to deal with is why we keep going over this it's because I keep telling you to leave this family alone leave alone leave her parents alone and you are still here point where you've been trespassed from all this property you've been trespassed from that property there's obviously JJ keep close eye on this Budd it's obviously reasonable to believe that she doesn't even with the officer trying to calmly explain that he couldn't walk onto the property the ex-husband viciously retaliated you're very you're very in a gray area you're very close to committing a criminal offense um no you're guilty until proving guilty okay I'll take this video and I and I will take this whole thing in front of the judge and and I already been down this road then I'm not official stalking investigations like she told you it's going to added every time we deal with you and they're going to call every time you're out here you know they will it's going to add to that it's going to add to that but listen to me following somebody and harassing somebody is a criminal offense s I'm not harassing you don't think you're harassing if I go ask her is he harassing you what do you think she's going to think go ask her what I've done here today since I I'm sure that's what she's doing and I I heard the people at the last house they definitely think you're harassing them who who people wait her parents meanwhile the female officer was speaking with the the ex-wife who had custody of the kids and was responsible for filing the restraining order here she goes into detail about how long he had been terrorizing the family a lot okay often at their request I will say that okay because they don't see him otherwise he's refusing to I don't know if he told you his whole story but he's refusing to take his legal time with them until I sign his petition which is the outrageous one similar to the last one okay it's the same thing and he gives it to the kids and he gives it and they give it to they give to your so and at their request he comes to see them because they miss him you can see they they like him and they miss him and I I have a hard time keeping them apart from him when they have a relationship and mother him I feel like that's harsh and unfair but these daily visits are awful he come here every day for he was out of town for a week okay so he didn't come that week but otherwise he comes nearly daily it's not consistent but it's almost daily since when do you remember how long that's been going on January 3rd okay over there I remember this one a couple times related to like late baseball things uh sorry basketball things like sportsing so he's had him overnight a couple times okay he has texted me over and over and over again I will be every day at your parents house I will be here every night I will make sure that everyone knows that you are not letting me see that you know that kind of he just friend if that's true that it means the father was once again liable for violating his restraining order this is because restraining orders can cover various forms of communication including inperson contact phone calls emails and in some situations text messages since that's the case and if the restraining order also forbade texting then the ex-husband was in violation of the order especially if he was ultimately threatening and scaring her ironically the very documents he produced to prove his innocence ended up proving his guilt and he sits out there like he's doing now or does he come up closer Ever he doesn't come up closer okay I let like I said I do let the kids out and I don't care if they play football but I just feel like this is not this is not a relationship you want to Foster with your kids there's more to life there's more to a dad than this so abely um what is the times in the evenings she's allowed to for the courts talk to the m is it 3: to 6 p.m. okay now and that's another thing that he's always upset about because often from 3 to 5ish they're at my parents house so to make up for that I allow the kids to talk to them on the phone all the way up until 8:00 900 p.m. I do 30 minutes right technically I don't know what it says TimeWise it just says between those hours and my frustration with it is that I read it as the kids are allowed to call him during that time whenever they feel like it he reads it as he's allowed unfettered access during that time every single day no matter what yeah do you want to press charges can we talk about it without small ears absolutely absolutely I want to know all the repercussions of what that means yes yes for sure for sure I mean yeah I I need to know what that entails and what that means because I would like to have peace in our evenings here right absolutely um I think the kids should be able to see their dad I don't want to see that taken away from them right but you don't want it to interfere with your I don't want it to happen here there's no reason to happen here he has legal time he's supposed to take with them so my supervisor is coming out just because we've told him to not be here to not be there and he's like well I'm coming back every day and I'm like no and and he's he's he's proud of that um I know he's trespass hon from here I would be going nuts if I weren't seeing my kids I get that I would be I would be devastated for the kids not to see me he doesn't his time either that's the issue that I can't understand so he wants his time when it's your time and normally when you want a modification of your parenting stuff you have it written up and then if you don't get to agreement you take it to court right um I think he knows a court would never I don't know why yeah I don't know why we keep or you guys keep I'm you guys keep going with these injunctions and I don't come through in essence the father was trying to contact his kids by pushing the limits of the time slots he was legally allocated so much so that it interfered with the mother's time with her kids to continue discussing in charges the mother sent her kids to play with their father at their request do we want to step inside or do you want to come out this way well I mean or do they want to get in the van do you guys want to you want to go play with Daddy while he's here yeah know my fear is always that he's going to drive off with him at Rosie's request he had them for her birthday evening MH and um she wanted to come home and he wasn't going to let her you know it's just always traumatizing dramatic yeah oh yes the truth is I would love to press some P of charges okay I just don't want my kids to hear that right absolutely and that's what I assume but um I like I said my supervisor's coming out because he works right in the gray okay and stocking is something where we're here for now and we can arrest him right now I will also admit that this part I have I don't want him to know and soon enough I won't be able to hide it but I'm 6 months it frightens me the you remember maybe you don't remember but I remember you were there for my old I was restaurant I've been here Chas us around town and at that point I had told the I remember I like follow you home but yes and I had told the intended parents then I can't do this for you under these circumstances and then he backed off he mental health or something kind of okay well I don't know they had he got married and I think the wife convinced him to just try to take the kids yeah is it the same girl from the restaurant okay yeah and uh things were common Thea yeah like not great but way better right it seems like he's coming back up now it's almost I think he showed up at their house like a week ago yes he's been there a couple times um he's he just text the most manic things he's do you have those text messages still yes if you want to screenshot as many of them as you can it should be noted that while her unborn child may not currently fall under the terms of the restraining order the baby can later be added by submitting a motion to a court to modify the current restraining order to do this she would need to provide evidence that the abuser is still dangerous considering the manic text messages though it would seem that she has all the evidence she needs let me go talk with them real quick do you want to bring the kids back inside cuz he's going to kind of ask him one question if he doesn't leave hey guys can you come back inside for a second it should also be noted that since he didn't return his daughter to her mother at one point his actions border on the crime of kidnapping an even more severe crime nevertheless while the woman tried to get her kids inside the father refused to abide by the officer's orders to leave the premises I got her yeah hey my name's Sergeant Cameron how are you good good have you been requested to leave this area by my officers hey guys have been requested yes did they ask you to what what area right here where we're standing right now second I'm just reaching my phone I got to document this because I think you were one of the guys that was there for the okay put your hands behind your himself resisting arrest on top of that instead of going peacefully he directed his kids attention to the situation in an attempt to Garner pity and villainized their mother unfortunately this only meant that his kids were subjected to an image that would traumatized them for the rest of their lives glad you from that my children glad you did that all yourself [Music] boss sometime later the officers escorted the father back to headquarters where he would be booked during the process he continued to ramble not accepting any accountability Mr Butterfield you really serve the community well tonight just remember it's all on video reporting so what so what you know what I I I'd love to share with the judge that I think you are a horrible police officer bitter woman at that always have an attitude didn't even fill out police reports you know you're probably better that you're a police officer I don't know you probably don't like men is what I what I'm guessing you had no right to arrest me right there you know what this is going to get kicked out by the judge and you and you put my kids through that for what you know what I got I got it all on video it's this doesn't hold up in court you never asked me to leave you were just trying to lecture me about my rights you didn't tell me to leave I got the whole damn thing on video I am telling you that you are stalking them take me to ja you need to leave clearly he was told several times to leave the property sadly the father was too much of a martyr to listen to anyone else's advice as as a result he was detained taken to jail and he traumatized his children during the process but let me guess you f out your police report well this time right your high school degree why people don't like cops people like you guys one one officer there had respect and that was not you no crime committed we taken an innocent man in the jail tonight instead of going to his son's baseball game I don't have people like you sleep at night and my ex-wife was a lesbian right did she tell you that trying to pick my son up and she wouldn't turn him over and you trespassed me you're horrible police officer horrible so now I get to we're we're going to get you in the court you know you know it's going to happen to answer his question it would be both his children and his ex-wife by creeping up on them every day and showing up at their house he was effectively stalking them since the family was alerted to his presence multiple times moreover the inclusion of the concerning text messages made it clear that the mother's only choice was to contact the police and have them deal with her deranged ex however he remained in denial and came up with scenarios in his head that never happened while dismissing events that did you know I do sympathize what you have to do to earn a dollar I do that was uncal for that was [ __ ] you could have just asked me to leave okay and I would have seen you the next time that she denied me access to my kids it could have been so easy oh big Tough Cop let's arrest this guy in front of his kids you know what go deal with a real criminal have you have you ever fought real crime wife beaters drug dealers you do anything real you just do this kind of petty [ __ ] in Tyrone area 33710 I guess they don't have you down on the Southside deal with real climb crime you know my lawyer said you read those reports the ones you did write he said she don't like you he said look you know she's a woman who don't like a man that that leads me to believe one thing I'll keep that to myself in the end the man was unsurprisingly arrested for stalking and resisting arrest
