Alcohol can intensify the effects of certain prescription drugs, particularly those that affect the central nervous system, such as anti-depressants, anti-csychotics, anti-anxiety medications, and sedatives. When mixed with alcohol, these substances can impair judgment, lower impulse control, and heighten emotional responses. As a result, the suspect has now acrewed two additional charges.
