man the story began in July 2023 when a 23-year-old truck driver named jadarius Rose was pulled over by a Jackson County State Trooper the reason for the Stop was an alleged missing mud flap on the truck the trooper claimed that regardless of Mr Rose seeing him he didn't stop the truck so back up was called to find out what's going on then after a little over 20 minutes Mr Rose decides to pull over be count to a okay I'm coming to a St all right you just pull back out car County or County he took off again we're heading Northbound 23 1959 Jackson I half dver Northbound right lane he rolled the window down looked at us roll it back up Northbound 48 mph pass l Road in h County I need an update for 1020 again fleeing a traffic stop where offic ERS had drawn their firearms Mr Rose initiated a Chase eventually making a 911 call and the audio from this call was subsequently released by WKYC channel 3 I don't know why they even pulling me over I was about to comply with them but they all unit in the pursuit I have the guy in the semi on 911 he's complaining that you guys had gun pulled out on him I don't know why they trying to kill me yes they are obviously they throwing stuff in the on the the ground trying to explod the tire and it feel like they trying to kill me and I'm not okay sir you need you need to comply with them you you okay because you're they're in pursuit of you you need to pull over you're going to get yourself in more trouble than what you're already in the chase persisted until officers use stop sticks to stop Mr Rose's truck although there's no clear indication of a felony or harm to people or property the courts could assess his driving behavior for recklessness or safety concerns and adhering to the speed limit might result in a misdemeanor cust with a fourth degree felony charge for not complying with police orders even though the nature of the underlying felony remained undisclosed officer Speakman initially on leave was subsequently terminated due to alleged misconduct during the investigation leading to a union grievance while Mr Rose has yet to file a lawsuit it's anticipated that he will pursue legal action with legal counsel in the near future
