On November 1st, 2025, Sarasota police, while on patrol in the middle of Halloween night, officers saw commotion involving a female suspect who had just been involved in a physical fight with a some guy. Can you guys see it? Yes, I can hear. I said stop. I said stop. Face the wall. You saw her? Yeah. You saw her? He tried to kick my boyfriend and Kendria and him, bro. He stole his car keys. Can I talk to you? Sure, you can talk to me. Okay, I'll sit down. Yeah. So, okay. Me and Kendria and my boyfriend were just messing around saying like oh Expelliarmus cuz he's in a Harry Potter costume. And he turns around and goes boom. I go I swear to god he literally tried to roundhouse kick my boyfriend in the face. So, I [ __ ] I slapped him. I I I slapped him. He He tried to roundhouse kick my boyfriend in the face like >> Which one's your boyfriend? And the Is it the one that had the chain on his body? He tried to roundhouse Yes, you can ask Kendria for the footage. One of our other friends was talking to him. He gave him his car keys. So, we were trying to run around finding my boyfriend's car keys for like 20 minutes. That's why we were so pissed off. We found him. It says updated 2 minutes ago. We went all the way over here just for him to keep following us. He's telling us like oh you guys are annoying and antagonizing me and antagonizing us. And we're like bro, go go away. Go away. He would not go away. He would not go away. And so, he just slapped my boyfriend. I thought slap slap time. So, I [ __ ] took him over here and I grabbed him and I [ __ ] hit him because he touched my boyfriend. I just want the facts of the situation. That's all I need Thank you. He immediately denies being the aggressor and tells officers the other guy tried to kick her boyfriend in a Harry Potter costume. They started walking this way from something regarding keys. He was following them the entire time, apparently antagonizing them. Once they got over here after telling them to leave stop following them and leave them alone multiple times, he put himself to hit her boyfriend so she dragged him. I don't I don't care if I go to jail for violence violence, whatever, but he did hit my boyfriend. I I don't I don't I don't do it. And I You want to talk to him about the situation? I would rather me get in trouble than Stay with her if you want to go talk with her. Can I take her ready? Uh just hold on. Uh uh she the the her I The guy over there was Oh, I'm sorry. The guy over there was uh antagonizing her boyfriend and um like she kept on telling him multiple times get away get away get away and he tried to attack her boyfriend and she protected herself. >> What happened right here though? I appreciate you that, but they did report that earlier. So, I'm more worried about the physical altercation that happened here. He's been following them around all night because I I'm pretty sure her boyfriend is wearing a Harry Potter suit, too. And and I I think he's just been trying to get at her all night and he's been telling her to leave and telling him to leave her alone. And and he's not been leaving. Witnesses and her friend confirm the other guy was the aggressor. He followed them, slapped the boyfriend, and started the physical fight. Officers stay neutral and gather both sides. Well, well, well, looks like Harry lost his wand. I don't want any further problems. I really would like to instill that I didn't want any problems. Second second time I was here. You're going to follow up in court. Nobody was arrested. That's what happens That's what's going to happen. If he goes to jail, you're going to have to go to court. So, I just want to make sure that you're actually serious about this. I just want everyone to get home safe, you know. Well, we can't give you legal advice. You have to make the decision on your own on if you want to press charges. We can't swing you one way or another. If you're the victim of a crime, you have the right to press charges. If you want to go home and let it be what it is, that's up to you. That's your right. If you want to press charges, that's your right also. You have to let us know.
