moments when cops arve just in time to prevent robbery starting with the case where a desperate suspect not only LED police on a dangerous high-speed chase but also tried to carjack an innocent bystander right in front of pursuing officer on July 11th 2024 flock cameras gave an alert to Fort Worth Police regarding a stolen maroon truck being driven but when officers tried to stop the vehicle the driver decided a Reckless Getaway was a better [Music] idea to cut this half-hour Chase police decided to deploy spike strips on the way this idea shredded the truck's tires leading to an abrupt end of the Run while the police thought the suspect would give up he stepped out of the stolen car armed with a long gun on top of that he tried to carjack an innocent bystander as if he totally forgot about the police standing behind him he is taking a car at gunpoint but when that plan also fell apart Guzman exited the white vehicle this time he was holding a firearm to his head traffic shots fir we have one drop it do not let to neutralize the threat five Fort Worth officers opened fire to strike Guzman multiple times not miraculously no officers or bystanders were injured during this chaotic incident Guzman was transported to the hospital in stable condition and is now facing a long list of charges including unauthorized use of a motor vehicle aggravated robbery and evading arrest while this case involved a car chase ending in chaos the next one shows how a quick-thinking store clerk turned the tables on a robber [Applause] in 2018 a man walked into a Metro PCS store in Chicago's back of the yard's neighborhood he looked like a regular customer until he flashed the grip of a gun hidden in a box inside a [Music] bag the terrified lady complied and handed over the cash along with that she hit the panic button discreetly and made sure the suspect didn't realize [Applause] [Music] little did this guy know he was already on the police radar for robbing seven other cell phone stores and just as he thought he was making a clean getaway the cops arrived at the perfect time meanwhile the clerk saw the incoming off officers threw the glass and went inside the store lie down get out on the ground get out get the [ __ ] out on the ground with no way out he surrendered one officer cuffed him while another escorted the clerk [Applause] outside since this guy was already a wanted man the cops called called to announce the [Applause] arrest while this case ended with the officers celebrating their teamwork and giving high fives this next case involves gasoline robbery for drinking purposes your hands up drop it what the in August 2023 Seattle Police responded to a burglary in progress with a 17-year-old juvenile inside the home Seattle Police we're checking inside upon entering the residence police discovered the suspect drinking gasoline inside a car with a hammer on his lap despite repeated commands to get out of the vehicle the suspect continued to ignore officers he get your hands up now get them up leave them leave the hands in the air keep your hands in the air open the door I want open the door right now to neutralize the threat officers forcefully opened the car door and took the suspect into custody while ensuring the juvenile was safe the juvenile was rescued and unharmed and the suspect was arrested on multiple charges in this next case a couple shoplifting attempt took an unexpected turn when the cop caught them red-handed when they were leaving the store doing whoa whoa hey hey put that down hands behind back hands behind your back right now back off on April 28th 2024 Seattle police officers made a visit to a pharmacy when they spotted a woman walking out with a stolen cash register while the female suspect was arrested on the spot her male partner took off right away while investigating officers discovered and seized the hidden unused handgun as EV officers also identified the male suspect who took off earlier as someone wanted for a previous assault that's not me down on the ground now that's not me sir to Frank he's not sir down on the ground now it's not me sir going get the man was located nearby but when the officer asked him to surrender he started running he didn't know that the surrounding police were already looking for him and so he couldn't get far before multiple officers detained and arrested him get on get out on the ground no do not move stop turn around your stomach the 20-year-old woman was charged with theft and unlawful carry of a pistol whereas the 40-year-old man was charged with obstructing a law enforcement officer and booked for a previous domestic violence case moving forward Walmart put an end to another Duo's shoplifting schemes thanks to attentive employees and a reveal in search okay I'm going ask you to hand me this put your hands behind your back for me hold on once we get all this figured out on October 10th 2024 police arrested Megan clay 21 and Todd Pope 25 in Walmart in foresight Georgia for shoplifting asset protection officers had spotted this on the radar couple and called the police brushes in there from here um I bought some at Dollar Tree but then I got a replacement are these from here or not when the officer searched the pair she found paintbrushes Megan admitted to taking employees also pointed out the jacket Megan was wearing this jacket was allegedly stolen during their visit the night before Oh not that's what I need you to say it's either a yeser not we while the store worked on paperwork to ban the duo for 2 years officers kept searching and found multiple items in their pockets and bags the officer also searched Todd and found more items in his pockets then she went to check Megan's backpack what about the other stuff they got s purse last night I can pull the video up we got all the [Music] vide yeah you can answer the phone inside Megan's bag officers found a baggie of meth she claimed it belonged to her sister and denied knowing about it need to know that Jack is yours first see what I'm saying cuz if I have video of you stealing it you going to take it off these are y so you didn't get their last night to be honest I have one I got last night but it's not this one so you did steal you just you're admitting that you did steal last night where's that jacket at is it at home yes so it's not the jacket you have on as the officer went to return the stuff to the store she emptied the stolen jacket she discovered a card and some items from the store but what she didn't expect was this suspicious packaging did forget about that completely we a couple I don't give to hear it now I really don't following the bust Megan claimed she forgot about it and so the couple's actions didn't end with just theft charges stand up here for me please face the vehicle take two steps backwards towards me spread your feet apart bend over at the W both suspects were arrested and charged with shoplifting and trespassing Megan was also charged with possession of meth besides Walmart also banned them from entering any of their stores for 2 years moving on from retail theft the next incident occurred in Baltimore County where officers confronted armed robbery suspects inside a CVS store put your hands up put your hands up put your hands up put your hands up right now I got one at the counter to 18 everybody get on the ground late Monday night November 30th 2020 officers were dispatched to a CVS store in Baltimore County for an armed robbery in progress PFC Lawrence's body cam captured the intense moments inside the [Music] store as PFC Lawrence commanded one suspect to get on the ground the man reached into his pants but whatever he planned it didn't work get on the ground get on the ground I got get your ass on the ground don't you Mo the officer subdued the suspect and left him under another officer's watch while he went to ask about the other suspects the two other suspects jumped out of a window to escape they were described as black males wearing masks and [Music] hoodies I'm going to roll ready he right here after informing the department PC Lawrence searched the first suspect and found a firearm this suspect was taken into custody as for the others they were arrested following a brief P the next theft happened inside a Florida Bank where the suspect tried to deceive officers multiple times with a fake identity wa wa wait wa hold on hold on hold on hold on wait wait wait hello come wait I don't want to any I'm not resisting on January 17th 2024 in Florida officers responded to a local bank's call about a suspected fraud when officers arrived they found the lady in question at the teller counter I don't understand what's going on I was just depositing figure the bank staff reported that this woman was trying to move money between accounts after previously withdrawing $9,500 from an account flagged by its real owner after inspecting her ID the officer asked her to step outside for a chat all right um so you came here to deposit to check check you don't your name yeah well it's a it was a money order it was from where um I sold I sold some stuff on eBay as the officer read her Miranda rights she agreed to talk but her story didn't add up which led to the suspicion of using a fake ID and because of that she had to get handcuffed is this your real name sir me where is there something deposit we'll get into that I need know I know there there's okay you're not free to go so we're going to fingerprint you and find out who you really are you can't fingerprint me unless I'm under arrest detained you're detained before what because wa wa wait wait wa hold on hold on hold on hold on ma' wait wait wait hello okay come on wait I don't want to be any this I'm not resisting after multiple tries the officer decided to run a fingerprint check on her to reveal her real identity but the suspect thought she could get away without complying I'm going to take your fingerprints I need you to turn around I'm not cond I need you don't have to condone I do have to condone I have right you're right not asking you any questions would tell me you have to identify yourself no matter what it doesn't matter what's going on okay I just need your I just need your open up your right hand okay you understand every time I ask you to open your right hand we're going to charge you with obstruction okay it's more and more charges I keep going and then when you get down to BSO they are going to fingerprint You by force and when they figure out who you are we're going to charge you with that as well okay I me well that works too but I got to I got to verify it okay just give me your right finger that's all see real simple while she initially refused to provide fingerprints hearing about increasing obstruction charges she changed her mind eventually the officers found out out that she wasn't who she claimed to be and even had an old warrant in Florida okay you're doing what you're told who was telling you to do it you know so you're just doing it for a phantom well they promised me something obviously you know when they prom she admitted someone had asked her to make the deposit for money but didn't provide the name of this Phantom person she was arrested and initially charged with resisting without violence and possessing a fake driver's license additional charges included criminal use of ID fraud and Grand Theft until now all the cases involved manageable situations where officers maintained control but the next case takes a darker turn as police faced a dangerous armed suspect whose actions led to a tragic ending s put your hands where I can see him put your hands on August 11th 2024 Columbus Police were dispatched to stop a burglary in progress this 21-year-old armed suspect named Asante Taj Omar Miller was inside the victim's residence put your hands up instead of complying Miller fled the residents from the back door but his noticeable firearm prompted officers to command him multiple times to drop it Put the gun down Put the gun down yeah he's one street over he's hiding on the porch he's got the 33 on him still where the gun down put it down it down put it down right now put it down while officers tried approaching him Miller walked away as if he wasn't obliged to follow this resulted in officers discharging their [Applause] firearms where is left but Miller escaped and broke into another residence on West 8th Avenue while searching for the suspect a female officer came across the Very Room where Miller was hiding this Chase would have been a peaceful one only if Miller hadn't taken the action he took here she on left she on left are you hit no are you in there are you good I'm ready to your right okay he's going to be in there get out here get out here come on come on quick quick quick while the officers ran in and opened fire on Miller the female officer alerted them about Miller's location inside the room but when officers moved to detain him Miller fired again [Applause] this led officers to retreat and wait for a warrant after a tense 5-hour standoff officers finally entered the residence with a new strategy only to find Miller dead the court did not disclose whether his death was the result of a suicide or if he was struck by police gunfire during the
