came in went to the jewelry section grabbed all of that put it inside of this bag that she was carrying in the white shirt um which bag this one here when this says the tote bag on it then they moved over to like heal and Beauty grabbed this shampoo and like these hair clip things went and grabbed these all that stuff went into that same bag they tried to buy pass points of sale stopped them escorted them back here called you guys do you guys have IDs you don't haveone you have on you at all how old are you I'm 18 18 you 17 what we talking about yeah first you what's your name how do you [Music] we just get trespass I'm sorry can we just get trespass we have to figure out what's going to happen we have to conduct investigation we have to watch the video we have to talk to the employees here we talk to you guys and then we make a determination it's not just that simple can we make a good determination it's not up to you the good determination would have been to not steal I don't I don't know I'mma close this so they don't sorry I go to the same school or what school is that play sports not anymore what sport did you play I did cheer I did volleyball I did I tried softball but what happened I have to work pay bills pay bills does your mom know where you're at or dad or who do you live with I live with my mom and you what do you live with my mom okay she knows where I'm at is that group of young individuals out there your cohorts huh there's a group of kids that look like they're age outside like five or six five here yeah outside a Target did y'all come here alone yeah yeah okay well no B I don't know y confused my boyfriend shut up so I didn't know if he had brought yeah that's probably what it is it's not my boyfriend why your shirt wet we were at the pool which one I have my band suit on on below the campground we went to the open pool you drive she does cool so can we just please just leave what did I say 5 minutes ago no you can't keep on bugging you have to wait and be patient being calm and patient too but so much so much we have to pay that if we have toay $2 what you work at me pizza place which one's oh where is up uh the only one there's only one I don't know where it is really we got to try it we have the best piece on the planet is that recording my camera it's supposed to always be recording all it's recording it always has to be recording well it's not true well I'm in a a room with two little girls and I ain't going to be accusing a man my camera's always on 18 tattoos already huh my first one two AG before I turned 17 my second one 17 my third one 3 days before I turned [Music] 18 I'm tattoo your parents cool with you getting tatted up I got my Butterflies from my grandmother who passed so it was my mom's mom so yeah she was okay with it that's the one I got at 16 yeah I'm hungry hungry let's go to Chipotle after this no no [ __ ] no why not I'm getting McDonald's and I'm going to home huh we McDonald's home or Fancy Sushi do we have to no why fcy sushi cuz it's right there why Mom I don't want no chicken I've been eating like chicken fast food for the past forever and we just had McDonald's today already yeah already have it I accidentally threw my cheeseburger in the trash can take it didn't have it [Music] you do might just stand the B down yeah 18 I'm 17 all right so dog it's here so 7:44 pass so who's who was holding the bag the whole time the uh okay who was taking the items both both cool both selecting them both putting them in the purse yeah so what do y'all want to do uh we're going to prosecute both and chest test all right uh you want to see everything or just like the meat and potatoes of it it's meat potato this one they weren't in here very long I think it was like only they goes 15 minutes how were yall alerted to them um I just observed them both coming in they both seem young and they had purse and they went straight to jewelry and started grabbing stuff pretty quickly okay so for us all the red flags were there okay this is kind of sped up so if you want me to slow it down let me know so you'll see they'll grab 14 or 15 items here and then they'll go I'll show you on this monitor simultaneously kind of off camera here but they go directly in line with another camera you can even see too before they conceal the items into to their purse this girl she's putting a vape in her pocket this girl on the white is like ripping open packages and kind of just tossing them on the Shelf over there so at this point nothing's in the purse yet mhm and they passed all points of sell and went to the foyer and all that they did so at this point they're going to go off camera to the left this is that same exact angle okay so the time stamp 73215 and 15 you'll see they both will conceal the items into the purse that grow in white is holding she actually looks up at the ceiling for I'm assuming yeah the girl in the white conceals and then the other one conceals there so at this point they cut across the whole middle of the store and then go towards like the shampoo and stuff M where they select the shampoo and um like three hair clips which are all on the table in there cuz this is just they don't ever stop it's just a couple minutes after they left the jewelry section or not even two minutes so next you'll see them grab that shampoo from over here yeah that one right there and then they're going to move into this hair aisle so when they're in this aisle you'll see them select um three of those hair clips that I was talking about and then they're going to conceal those four items the three hair clips and the shampoo into the purse cuz after this they'll go to the chip aisle I'll grab those Doritos that are yeah um that selection and concealment is not on camera but then going into the chip aisle is we just don't have camera down there and that was the last thing they selected they kind of walked around the grocery department for a little bit like they even looked at like dairy stuff like butter and stuff but they never grabbed anything else cool I want to You'll prute all right I'll get it all written up now all right thank you yeah I'll be right out here all right all righty thank you are Notting anymore they now separ for you to be texting your ex-boyfriend that's waiting outside for all right ladies I'm going to read this to you okay you have the right to Sil you say may be used as evidence against you you have understanding rights to talk to us dat of birth 06 Fox so far the phonetic alphabet all right who we interviewing first [Applause] sep all right we'll talk to um Marie first you want can you wait outside please miss Lana or Li whatever your name is NOP so tell me what happened why did you guys come here okay we came here because um I wanted to have a girl's day and I wanted to at her house so then we went to the pool first that's where it all went and then we you're good you can keep talking we came to Target uh she wanted J I needed body wash and then she wanted the chips and I said we should leave like but I know it's so talk to me about all these items in here so there should be some I got that for it matches you bought it or you those like I'm sorry I picked those okay so why didn't you pay for it I I don't honestly no I know I should have but so if you if I asked you to stand up right now and point at all the items you stole would you be able to do that that you did and not her uh probably not because we I think we got the same things okay so you guys are both like dou uh me and it's all and we also share a lot so whose idea was it to who's whose plan was this to come here to take from yeah come here and take stuff that you weren't planning on paying for so originally I wanted to go to Walmart but I need to put gas at WWA cuz it's the cheapest well to me I think show is the cheapest so so she was like to Target toget in but I body so you came here with the intent to to seal it your body wash and well you want to know whose idea was it it wasn't necessarily said like hey let's go in and do this it was just necessarily just done if that makes sense it wasn't planned okay so when you came in the store you were planning on paying for everything that you bought no or everything that you stole you were planning on paying for it no like I said nothing was planned at all like we just walked in and I said I need body wash and she said she needs jewelry that's exactly why we went to Julie first and we're just okay like it wasn't necessarily said or plann so who was holding the the bag H and you were putting did she know you were putting things in the bag she did she put things in the bag too who took the chips [Music] is that your boyfriend sitting out there afro kid to get anymore what would you need it for for me so I can wear it just just to have it yeah I got all gold because I like to wear gold and I have these and I it's not I want did you come in here with the intent to not pay for it well no but like I kind of like I like coming in here I might like like look at it and TR I want it but no but you said you didn't have any money to buy it yeah I don't I have $2 okay whose idea was it to come here nobody did was nobody's idea you guys have showed up here we come to tkey all the time so you just fig going to come hang out yeah a lot of people walk around here we're going to meet her boyfriend here too exboyfriend how old are you 17 um does your mom know that you're here have you talk to her m she knows you're here yes did she know you were coming here and with stealing stuff or she didn't ask how you were going to buy stuff with no money no I don't like it's like informal I'm doing I would I I usually would have my dad send me money okay so you who was carrying this bag right here I was carrying it but it's not my bag okay did you you were putting stuff in the bag did you know she was putting stuff in the bag I did yeah you know she did yeah she did too well it's on camera so well I'm just asking so if we asked you to like stand up and point at the items that you put in here specifically oh I I mean I got the chips but all that jewelry I'm not going to be able to look at all that and like pull out I could get a couple I didn't take a lot of jewelry it was like yeah I didn't take much though it's was like 15 20 items in here would you like try look oh be great do that I didn't gra much I did grab [Music] [Applause] this yeah right this too is there anything in your pockets turn them out turn out she doesn't have side pockets okay I you how' you guys get here you ever done anything like this before first time or so what was the what was the straw that broke the cam was back like why would why was today the day that we're like all right I want some jewelry and I'm not paying for it well like I don't know I guess I'm a senior in school now so I don't have no jewelry I wanted some jewelry and I think I look better with jewelry okay did you know that what could have happened had you gotten caught yeah which is why I'm just like sitting here like this is this is stupid okay we call can we call your mom real quick why we got to tell her we're with you juvenile we got to call your mom and you're detained cuz we're investigating a crime that you committed so we need to tell her where you're at and we're talking we we'll use your keys and we'll find am I getting arrested yeah yes P death and contributing to you got a felon it's not good Aon what does that mean means hardal with her and she's a minor a felony is a more severe charge than a misdemeanor you're being charged with both so it's not good you any prior theft convictions did they say females coming yeah can you please my arm I'm not going to so you're being you're being arrested Miss ma'am I just don't like it Miss Adriana I don't like it at all bro what's good you're being arrested for petty theft all right because you stole from Target do you understand that I understand that okay and contributing to the delinquency of a minor your friend there is 17 and you contributed to her stealing you contribut to her breaking the law and she's under the age of uh 18 so because you coerced a juvenile to I didn't coer her well you're an adult right it doesn't feel like it but you are and you booked in in you'll be a b you out morning I don't know Bond uh probably I would say 1,500 maybe 2,000 all that pizza money might pay off no it won't bro you have anything on you uh Adriana what do you have aside from The Vape give any marijuana on you any drugs anything tucked in your areas what do you have can you let go for a second what do you have ad what you have oh it was just a candy that's it yeah what kind of candy like a t what is it like T like a gummy or just like a regular like Skittles or something okay where is it in your underwear or is it in your pants what are you do why is it in there because I knew something was going to happen cuz I'm 18 and I didn't know what to do like I should have never [ __ ] hang out where you know what tampering with evidence is I didn't tamper I don't know what's going on well you put it in there with the intent to conceal it from what is it just what kind of cand is it it's just Twix I swear to God bro I mean Twizzlers whatever the hell you call them can you you got from here here please what can you just move it you got it from here yes where where did you when did you gra when you first walked in or when you were leaving or does your ex-boyfriend have any guns or anything no like me so you lean up or don't lean up no lean up on the car you're good just relax I know it's a lot going on but no I just don't like it when people touch me yeah when you get arrested that's what happens I know but I I I kind of forfeit that right that's not fair I I really don't like when people touch me that's why I don't want to go to jail bro listen listen to me all right I don't I think you're I think you're a nice girl I think you made a mistake I did but I don't want to get touched in jail bro listen to what I'm saying can you listen yes okay as long as you do as you're told and you don't do anything silly it's going to be smooth I'm not I'm [ __ ] straight 4.0 bro okay that's my problem I don't know what goes on in jail I do not want to get Touched By no F okay well as long as you behave and you don't do anything runchy it'll be all good my face huh my face oh this is fantastic bro yeah you made a mistake the go I did but the crazy part is I'm not supposed to be hanging out with her my mother was like don't do it cuz every time I hang out with her cops get involved and look what you did now you're going to jail yes exactly you ever heard the saying watch the company ke and she's not going to jail you know why I know cuz she doesn't give a [ __ ] and she's 17 cuz she's 17 so she's going to get charges boarded up and slap on the wrist essentially bro I don't want to go to jail bro you probably get it expunged and be all good I don't know what that means so because because you will be getting a theft charge on your record which goes with you forever so you'll have to get that expunged if you ever want like a real job I can't have that on my record my record is perfect yeah until today but I can get that removed you can get it sponged which means like nobody will ever be able to see it but you'll have to if you ever get like a government job or anything they'll be a nurse yeah you can be a nurse okay me you're only 18 I mean you made a silly mistake at the age of 18 which happens but I know but I'm literally going to college after this yeah you have to tell them about this I have to tell my college yeah or if they'll revoke your application better just tell the truth but what if they don't accept me what do you mean like what if they like no well you're going to have to explain your situ I mean most most applications you have to explain like the circumstances I don't want this to stop me from being a nurse well I can't give you any type of legal advice but what I would do is I would say I made a silly mistake hanging with the wrong crowd and I learned my whatever you learn a lesson and it won't happen again and blah blah blah can I still get my scholarship sure I mean you technically can lose it I mean what you what's your scholarship for I was I was planning on doing the Bright Futures I did the hours all I had to do was take the test yeah I don't know about that one I mean so like you know what like these really good athletes like are doing really good in sports and then they get arrested for like drug charges and [ __ ] or like they beat their girlfriend and they lose everything I mean that could technically happen but I don't know mean uh good evening Deputy Li hello ma'am how are you she has some she said she has some candy or something tucked in her somewhere know do you know me probably I grew up here
