Hi. >> What's going on? >> So, the person that I was, you know, traveling with, he got a came down for the vacation with my baby. >> Okay. >> There was a guy sitting right here and I had asked him a question and he didn't look like he you know, his mind was all the way there. So, he was like smiling and stuff out of the face. So, she saw me talking to him thinking that >> Who Who is she? >> My fiance. >> Okay. >> So, he's talking to him thinking that we had something some type of, you know, going on. So, she wanted to be outside calling me out of my name, screaming, whooping and hollering and they're trying to calm her down because she came in here being loud. So, they're trying to calm her down. So, they're like, "He was talking to you for a second." They're like, "He He stays here all the time. Is something wrong?" I don't care about that. Calling me out talking about me getting in the elevator. She's still being loud. I'm like, "Can you just leave? Like, can you just go?" They're like, "So, it'll be a peace of mind for >> Police were called to a hotel after reports of a woman causing a disturbance and refusing to leave the property. According to hotel staff, the situation had escalated to the point where employees and guests felt uncomfortable, prompting management to request immediate police assistance. When officers arrived, they attempted to calm the situation and determine exactly what happened. But as questioning begins, tensions quickly rise and the encounter becomes increasingly confrontational. In this body cam footage, officers speak with hotel staff, confront the woman about the disturbance allegations, and ultimately make the decision to place her under arrest for trespassing. Watch the full video as the chaotic hotel encounter unfolds in real time through police body cam footage. This is Response Unit Body Cam, real incidents, real arrests, and real police encounters caught on camera. Let's dive into the video. >> I'm not leaving for the police. No, she was like, "I'm not leaving. What you going to do with your business?" So, I can hit her. I'm not about to hit you. My baby is right there. I just want you to leave. >> Who's uh you guys staying here? >> Yes. >> Who's >> It's in my name. I want her to go. I do not want to be around her tonight. >> Okay. Uh give me you got your ID on you? >> Yes. >> I'm going to go talk to them real quick and I'll come back and talk to you. Who you guys coming from? Michigan. Her too? >> Yes. >> Uh just Yeah, just give me a second when I get back to you. So, what's wrong? >> Um she came in her partner came in yelling at her. And she was cursing. It was like really loud. I was asking her to come to the front desk first. I then told her to talk to her. She kind of like hunter down. She was like, "No." FYI, she was calling her and all that stuff. Like at the front desk, we were going to like get them out, but then she came out before we could even and she asked for us to call the police, but >> She's the one that stays here. >> She's the one who has a room here. It's in her name. I just checked her >> Are you guys willing to uh well, she has a visitor. So, how does that work with you guys? If If she wants her out >> She didn't put her name and then she didn't add her as my company. So, the other guest would have to leave. I I can go up there and tell her >> Can you guys trespass the other guest? >> We can trespass her. >> All right. So, I'm going to take her stuff and then when my partner gets here, we'll go up and talk to uh the other party. >> Okay. >> All right. >> Babe, she's calling her mom. So, she made a argument about that. I don't I'm not arguing with you. Go your way and I'll go mine. >> So, you want her out of your room? >> Yes. I'm not dealing with her tonight or no more. >> Did you guys travel together? >> Yes. >> Who drove? >> Who drove? I drove. So, she will be stranded. I don't care. >> Uh there's kids in that room? >> Yes. Who they Who they belong to? Me? From you? You left them up there with her? >> Yeah, cuz I because I just knew that she was going to lock me out and I didn't know how I was going to get back in. So, I was like I know she's not going to get in the room. >> She locked you out? >> I know when I left out she was going to lock me out because she know that y'all okay she know I called the police cuz I said oh you don't want to leave. I said okay I have something for you. So, I went downstairs she thought I was going to put my hands on her. I'm like why would I do that? >> 2479 >> The car is she's been angry all day. I'm sick of it. >> So, the key for the room is upstairs? >> Yeah. The key The kid is upstairs. >> Well, yeah I know that but the key. >> I have the key. >> Oh, okay. So, um we'll go up there. We'll keep you down the hall. And we'll talk to her and see what's going on. >> I want her out of the room. >> I I got that. I got that. We got to talk to her first. Hey. >> Yeah, come on. >> Come outside. >> I don't have to come outside. >> We can We can take you out if you want. >> So, hey check it out. Let me >> This is not your room. >> Let me talk to you real quick. The one that rented this room wants you gone, right? The ho- the hotel wants you gone. >> She don't have me gone and I paid for this >> Hey, check it out. The hotel also wants you gone, okay mommy? So, either come with us and we don't take you to jail you go out and that's it or you don't come and we'll take you to jail. >> as hell, boy. >> Hey. >> All right. >> Come on, get your stuff. Let's get going. I really don't want to take you to jail today. >> You can't You can't take me to jail. >> Yes, I can. >> No, you can't take me to jail, bro. >> Yes, I can. >> YOU CAN'T TAKE ME TO JAIL, BRO. >> YES, I CAN. >> GET OUT OF HERE, BRO. >> IF YOU DON'T leave you're going to jail. >> Bro, shut up. >> All right. >> You can immediately tell this call was headed downhill the moment officers walked up to the hotel room door. They're standing there calmly trying to get the woman to come downstairs and leave the property. And meanwhile she's acting like the hotel suddenly turned into sovereign nation territory. The officers are basically saying, "Ma'am, let's make this easy." And she's responding like she's in the season finale of a reality show. Yelling, arguing, insisting they can't take her to jail. Meanwhile, the officers have probably heard that exact sentence about 400 times this year alone. A lot of people don't realize this, but once a hotel or business officially trespasses someone and wants them removed, refusing to leave can absolutely lead to arrest. At that point, officers are usually trying to give people a chance to cooperate before things escalate further. But when emotions take over, common sense usually checks out of the hotel before anybody else does. Let's dive back into the video. >> Where's the other baby? Hey, is this just one kid or two? >> BRO, THERE'S NO NO OTHER BABY. DON'T DON'T DON'T DON'T BRO, STOP TOUCHING ME. >> HEY, don't touch me. Don't touch me. Hey, so it's just one kid? >> DON'T IT LOOK LIKE IT? >> HUH? >> YOU'RE STUPID. >> HUH? What did I say? >> I got my kid in there. Get out of here, bro. He's messing WITH THE ESCORT. DON'T TOUCH MY DAUGHTER, BRO. TIRED, BUDDY. >> Where's uh Hey, do you have her information? Cuz she decided to hurry up and leave. >> Well, long as she gone, it's it's okay. I don't know >> So, whose kid is up there? >> That's my kid. I'm about to go up. >> Cuz she said it was her kid. >> That's our kid. >> Do you know her name and everything? >> I'm I'm not going to give y'all her name. I'm not because >> Okay. >> She's out the room. >> All right. >> So you guys can go ahead and see her. >> Okay. So >> Hey, did you say two kids? >> No. >> Just the one? >> Okay. >> So she heard the left. She's not providing her information. So she's not going to be trespassed at this point. >> Well, she was warned. If she does come back even if we don't have it, we will we have it on video that she was warned. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> Okay, that's good. >> Don't let her in the room. If she comes back if she comes back just call us. >> Okay. >> Do not open that there door. Just call us. All righty mama. Hey, sorry you're going through this. You take care. >> Okay. >> See you later, okay? >> You got you got the key, right? I gave you the key. >> Thank you. >> Yeah, she was quick. She wouldn't give me anything. Did we tell you to leave? >> Yeah, let her know I need to get all my stuff >> Hey, go ahead and put your hands behind your back. >> She got to know that I need to get all my stuff out the car. >> Take this off. >> I need to get all my stuff out the car. >> Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. >> What the I need to get all my stuff out the car. >> Let go. Let go. >> Man. >> No, keep the door closed. >> Just close the door, bro. You know I already got the stuff out the car. >> Stop. You pull again. >> Hey, that's crazy, bro. I can't even get the rest of my stuff out the car. How am I SUPPOSED TO GET ALL MY STUFF TO LEAVE THE TO LEAVE? MY WALLET AND EVERYTHING is in there with my money. How am I supposed to leave with my coat and my wallet? >> You want me to see if I can get her stuff? >> CAN I GET MY COAT OUT OF HER CAR? THAT'S ALL I WANT. ALL SHE GOT TO DO IS UNLOCK THE CAR DOOR, BRO. I don't even want the hell with it. >> Sheriff's office. >> This is I just want my bag, bro. I don't even care about it no more, bro. >> Do you have her stuff? >> What she got to do is unlock the >> Do you have her wallet or her ID or anything? >> All she got to do is unlock the car door. >> Is it is her stuff in your car? >> I thought she grabbed it. >> Besides this bag, is there anything else that you know of? >> I don't know if she said it. UNLOCK THE CAR DOOR, DASHA. THAT'S ALL YOU GOT TO DO IS UNLOCK IT. UNLOCK THE CAR DOOR. >> WHAT COLOR? >> All right, honey. We'll bring this right back. We'll call you. >> Dasha, unlock the car door, bro. >> W- WHAT COLOR? >> IT'S WHITE. IT'S RIGHT HERE ON THE SIDE. >> I'll be back, honey. >> I heard you, bro. >> Hey, stop. Look right now. >> Oh god, bro. >> The more you do, now we're going to take your guest trespassing and trespassing. I'm still trying to help you, but you just got to be quiet and we're going to walk you out. >> Calm down. >> We're going to walk you out. >> Bro, I don't want to I don't want you to talk to me. I got it, bro. I heard I heard him loud and clear. I don't need you to talk to me. I don't need you to talk to me. I don't need you to talk to me. I heard him. I heard him. Bro, why do y'all got this such a mean girl? He does not have to do anything, bro. You could HAVE DID IT. ANYBODY ELSE COULD HAVE DID IT. >> Where do you get loud, man? Nobody else is getting loud. >> Y'all don't have to. Let me go, bro. Let me go. >> We don't have to. We already >> Just let me go, bro. >> Hey. We're getting you the warning. >> Bro, I just want my coach. IT'S NOT THAT HARD. Y'ALL TOLD ME TO GRAB ALL OF MY STUFF. I TRIED TO GET ALL OF MY STUFF. IT'S THAT SIMPLE. LET'S GO HOME. DAMN. Y'ALL LET ME GO, BRO. NO, y'all have to. Stop, bro. Not acting up, bro. Y'all don't even understand the situation. Y'all just straight coming trying to act like y'all know what y'all talking about. >> Where's your wallet and your coat? >> I'm just trying to get my coat. Hey, everything is in my coat. >> Where? >> It's in the back. >> In the back? >> No. Just open the back door. It's the black It's the black Nike one. >> Black Nike one? >> Black Nike one, right there. >> This one? >> No, black Nike one. Yeah. Yeah. I just want my coat. That's it. >> All right. >> That's the one. >> We'll go to jail. We'll see you when we make sure your stuff is in here, okay? >> I got it all. Why I'm going to jail? >> For uh trespassing after warning. You got warned not to come back. You only need to do that. >> Bro, I'm just trying to get my coat, bro. I'm just trying to get >> Still without a license, though, too. All right, so we're going to get your stuff and we're going to take it to the Osceola County Sheriff's Office. You're going to go to jail without it, all right? But, I'm on I'm not feeling your wallet in here. Do you got a wallet? >> I got my wallet and stuff. I just needed to get my coat. >> want to go to jail for this? That's [ __ ] crazy. Take this over here. >> This entire situation is a perfect example of how a bad night can turn into an even worse one when emotions completely take over. Officers were already trying to give the woman multiple opportunities to cooperate and leave the property peacefully. But, instead of walking away from the situation, she allegedly returned right back to the hotel room after being warned not to. And that's the part people need to understand. Once you've officially been trespassed from a property, going back is almost guaranteed to escalate the situation. At that point, officers really don't have many options left. What makes this situation even more avoidable is that the arrest itself wasn't about some huge violent crime. It turned into trespassing and non-violent resisting because the situation kept escalating through arguing, refusing instructions, and refusing to cooperate. And let's be honest, yelling "You can't take me to jail!" at police officers who are actively putting handcuffs on you has about the same success rate as arguing with airport security about shampoo bottles. It never ends the way people think it will. In situations like this, staying calm and following officer instructions can make a massive difference. Even if someone disagrees with what's happening, keeping composure usually prevents things from getting worse. Once emotions take control, the chances of leaving peacefully drop fast.
