Two strangers stabbed, a woman with a knife in each hand, and officers with only a few minutes to make a decision no one wants to make. Just Drop it. >> Watch how long this lasts. Police say officers spent about 4 minutes talking to her, telling her again and again to drop the knives. She refused. She told them she would rather kill them than put the knives down. Officers tried tasers, but police [music] say they had no effect. And then she started moving toward them. Every second matters from here. Two officers [music] had to decide right then with a crowded street behind them. >> Just drop it. >> Drop it. >> Drop it. Drop the knife. >> She died at the hospital. One of the people she stabbed died, too, and another survived. Police say she had a documented history of mental health concerns and no criminal record.
