So, guess what, Billy? On May 3rd, 2022, an officer was dispatched to a CVS store in response to a beer theft. Here's what transpired. [Music] What's that? That guy who stole that gentleman right there. I don't know if he's passed out now. So, tell me what happened. Well, he This is He does this all the time. This is the first time he's done it. He comes in, he takes a beer, and he walks out. This one beer. Um, last time it was a fourack of Bud Light. this and I have the um actual police report for that one. I don't know how long he's been doing this cuz I've only been here since January. Um but when I see him, he never buys anything. He literally goes straight out. He stole one course light and then I didn't follow him outside cuz I'll let him do anything at this point. Um I just like, you know, did the report and he's been there the whole time and then people started coming including my employees saying that he's screaming profanities and like all this stuff and that they were kind of scared to go out the parking lot. But I just don't want him coming back here cuz you just want him trespass basically. I mean at this point I have to um because it's now twice that I've caught him personally. Um I need him like I don't know what the law is if he could get arrested for stealing. So you want to prosecute for stealing? Yeah. Okay. Do you have your ID on you? Uh I have to go grab it but I do have it. Yeah. So did you see him select the beer and then walk out? Both times. I even have the police report from the other time if you wanted me to grab that. But it both times I literally saw him grab it and he walked right past me, looked me in the eyes and walked out. Yeah. And is there video I assume? Are you want are you able to put that on a on a disc? On a disc or flash drive? Yeah, I should be able to. Yeah, if you can start working on that, I'll go what I'm probably going to do is probably not take him to jail with we're so busy and short-handed that I was going to tell you I don't um from what I understand um with the law, I don't think it's even enough. It's enough. Oh, okay. It's from what I I was always told like it was like they hired the I don't know well they hired from a misdemeanor to a felony but it's still a misdemeanor so I can take them to jail but with tying me up for that much longer and then having to go and put his bike into property in the scheme of things it's just not you know for me it's just that if he keeps coming back like all it's going to do for me cuz like you want him trespassed also I assume. Yes. I just cuz my thing is like he doesn't have anywhere to go. He's clearly homeless. You know what I mean? And not that jail's a better place. Um but I just Well, he would just be out in the morning anyway. So that'd be before that. They would probably just Yeah. No, I understand that. I So I'll trespass him. Then if he comes back, he'll definitely go to jail for that. Okay. I'm not going to let him keep. if there's any way for you to get him to leave this general obviously this area. I don't know if that's considered my property or I don't know either. He looks like it's probably So I'll make it clear if he comes anywhere on this property on this side of the bushes, you know, in the parking lot, then he's going to go to jail. And I will let you know that he before you pulled up, he was sitting up yelling. I don't know if he saw your car and decided to pretend to pass out or what, but he's probably on something and drunk. Okay. But I'll get that video. Hey, partner. Hello. Sir. Sir. Sir. Sir. Police. How are you? What's your name, man? What is it? Justin. You got ID on you? Nope. No ID? Nope. Nothing with your name on it? No. Yeah, I got ID. What's that? You do have an ID? Yeah. Well, no. I got an armband from the jail house. Where's that? Let's see it. It's deep in my bag.
