Stop your car. Stop. >> Excuse me. Excuse me, Y'ALL. >> WHAT WHAT'S THE QUICKEST >> SOMEBODY yanked a kid out of the car's path. The driver said, "Excuse me. Road closed for a festival." She lived inside it. A cop offered her a taxi. >> Be happy to call you a taxi. >> I'm not taking a taxi all the way to Virginia. >> Not the first offer she refused. She ripped the tape down. He had stepped in front of her car. She drove into him and rolled into the crowd. He didn't chase the traffic violation. He chased a massacre in progress. >> Get out of the car. >> On their own body cam, officers said they'd offered to escort her out hours earlier. Nobody came. That's the part that got buried. She wasn't trapped. She was late. She had two ways out. She took the one with people in it.
