police officer called the violent police to the sight of an intoxicated female slumped over the steering wheel in a parked vehicle on Jackson Drive Sergeant ryos initially arrived on scene to speak with her and radioed for Officer Vasquez to come on site the driver later identified as 22-year-old jacalan Lopez Lopez was asked to exit the vehicle after Officer Vasquez arrived Lopez Lopez seemed to stumble as she walked towards theice officer what's up what's up how are you good I'm off duty and I'm here tonight hello she's been here for about can he turn the car off so I can talk to you she's been I got her on my ring at 8:41 she parked here um didn't think nothing of it car had hazards on kept hearing a like a phone go off right I knocked on neighbor's homes she wasn't visiting anyone haard on she was pped over okay I grabbed my flashlight everything came out knocked on the window got her open At first she didn't want to speed so why somebody's call huh no were you visiting somebody out here were you visiting somebody no you don't know her you never seen her before never seen her out here I've been here 11 years yeah Bas you in rude out here and she uh she was up here she put in Reverse she the stre sign that's why she stuck here 2 today you might as well start a 60 this way for 12 hour I'll give you got the tag what's going on hello hi what's your name um um ja drinking Lopez Lopez admitted to consuming three beers and to not having a valid license to drive in English but she nonetheless agreed to participate in field sobriety exercises when Officer Vasquez asked her to walk towards him she seemed to lose her balance again the first test involved the horizontal Gay's nagus hgn test after the hgn test was completed Lopez Lopez was subsequently unable to satisfactorily complete the one leg stand or walk and turn test okay all right okay exact okay um see so okay so all right all right can you okay can you get the light Sarge you're [Laughter] good no earlier witness account from an off-duty police officer and her failure to adequately perform the field sobriety exercises Lopez Lopez was placed under arrest for driving Under the Influence she was subsequently brought to the station where she refused to take the breathalyzer test she got small [Music] wrist you want to take her just take her for me I'll do everything else just that's fine just there subjects jumping from in one of the other apartments and things are falling off her walls she is an elderly female cop I'm sorry for driving Under the Influence for you're arrested for driving Under the Influence can you hear me back there okay when we get to the station we can talk more okay huh the when the officer comes he can explain it to you okay my I'm Tak for my uh arrest be Spanish we're almost there okay what apartment is the caller in one you're you're under arrest right now for driving for driving while under the intoxicated I can't hear you just give me a minute okay when we released to a responsible party with the following citations operating Under the Influence reckless driving driving without a license no liability insurance coverage unsafe Lane chance open container of alcohol and refusal to submit to chemical test down here it's like drizzling we'll be back okay
