So, you lied. When I asked you what grade you were in, you gave false information to a law enforcement officer. >> Now, I am concerned that y'all possibly had a relationship going on that's illegal. >> Because you're still a child. You're still a minor. You're not even close to being 18. >> On August 25th, 2023, watch how a routine morning for a high school student starts normal, then cracks open unexpected secrets. >> Hey. Come here. What's your name? Cody. >> What grade are you in? >> I'm a senior. >> You're a senior? >> Yeah. >> How old are you? >> 18. >> Do you have your driver's license? >> No. >> You don't have your driver's license on you? >> I lost my old one. >> Come here. Why are you on campus? Do you go to school here? >> No. >> Oh, you don't go to school here? Oh. Sorry. >> I was just grabbing something. >> No, no, no, no. See, here's the thing. You're not allowed to be on campus. You're trespassing right now. >> I'm sorry. >> No, no, no, no. There's no There's no There's no sorrys. >> All right, what are you doing up here? >> Um some of my friends have something in here. >> Huh? Did you graduate from here? >> No, I didn't graduate from >> I leave. So, you aren't even a student here. You're just here. >> Well, I was here previously. >> For how long? For how long? >> So, you lied. When I asked you what grade you were in, right? And what did you say? >> I was a senior. >> You were a senior. Okay. Did you think we weren't going to check? >> No, I didn't think that. >> You gave false information to a law enforcement officer. Correct? And you're trespassing on school property. You know that, right? And how old are you? >> 20. >> I'm over 20 years of age. >> 21. >> Who are you coming to see? >> My girlfriend. >> You come to see your girlfriend? >> You have your ID on you? You don't have a wallet? I know you got a wallet, I saw it. Yeah. >> You're too damn old to be here, basically. I don't care what friends you got, they all too young if you 21. >> Hey, go ahead and stamp him for me. Put your hands up on the wall, on the wall. Back up for me. >> You got a backpack? >> What's up right there? Pocket? >> Probably my house keys. >> All right, go ahead. Go ahead and get that for me. Go ahead and put your hands back up on the All right. You're being arrested for trespassing on the school grounds. And also for lying to a law enforcement officer. No, you're lying about your age, too. Okay. >> 21. >> You are Oh, you're 21? Oh, you were lying about your age, too. Okay. Okay, go ahead and have a seat for me. >> Hey, we need you. Uh we just made an arrest. We had a 21-year-old on campus hanging out with his friends. We Well, we heard earlier that he was here to come meet his girlfriend. >> He was here in the in the morning, too. Supposed to be. >> He was by the band room, auditorium room, outside where they hang out. And then this is his uh second time on campus. >> I'll take him back tomorrow. >> Okay. >> All right, come on. Now, what do you want to see him about? Okay, go ahead and have a seat for me. So, now instead of having just one charge, you're going to have two for lying to a law enforcement officer. Do you understand with everything happening today today's society with shootings and stuff like that, people bringing drugs on campus, we take it serious when someone who doesn't belong here comes onto campus, right? It's pretty It's a It's a serious uh serious deal. It's something we cannot just let slide. Have you been in trouble before? >> Yes, sir. >> As an adult? >> Yes, sir. >> I I don't mean I don't mean to offend you. Okay? When I look at you and then I look at this, so by birth, are you you female? Okay. Yeah. 21 years old on school grounds here to see a friend. Apparently came on campus earlier this morning. Found out that was that the individual that that she was coming back and found her over by the auditorium in between the band room and the auditorium. >> Was her friend with her? >> It's she It's a she and she was with another another female, yes. So, uh I explained that, you know, we take it serious about trespassing on school grounds, especially with everything that happens in today's >> is uh the other student? >> Hm? >> How old is >> She's been giving me I I'm charging her with a false information to a law enforcement officer, too, because uh I first asked her if uh she was, you know, what grade she was in and said she was uh What did you tell me you were a senior and that she was only 19 years old and it just went downhill from there, so. >> Did you even go to um go to this school? >> Yeah. >> What year did you graduate? >> 2012. >> I thought you said you went to the league. >> I went to the league and then graduated from the >> Graduated from the league? Okay. Who >> found the coat on campus? >> One of the admins one of the admins saw cuz we we already had a picture Mr. Mr. Glass um found this found her on camera this from this morning. And so we were on the lookout for that individual and another admin saw saw her this time. So this was earlier today like this morning. So that could be every two counts >> or just one count? >> Just one. >> Have you read her Miranda? >> No, I have I have not. >> You want me to do it? >> Yeah. >> You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. Having these rights in mind, do you wish to talk to us now? >> Yes, sir. >> Is that a yes or a no? >> Yes, sir. >> No. >> Before I realized it was a female, I already I I already patted her down. Um thought it was a male. >> I need you to contact the other young lady's mother and make her aware of the court father and make him aware of the situation. >> Okay. >> And we have an adult on campus that was here to see her. >> Okay. >> All right. I'm Deputy Barnes. I'm just going to search you to make sure you don't have anything, okay? Um do you have anything you want to admit to? All right, cuz if you take it to the jail and I don't find it, that's on you, big dog. All right? All right, so I'm going to have you stand up. And then you face away from me. All right, so I'm just going to feel under your um your bra, okay? Okay, step back so I can have you spread your feet for me. All right. >> All right, we're going to swap these cuffs out. These are these are yours. >> Mine. >> Put your hands behind your back, please. Appreciate it. >> I'll give it to you. All right, you're good to go. I'll let you telephone. Please do not address anybody on your way out. >> So, administration this morning received a tip from an anonymous source that there had been a a male student on campus that was an adult. >> Okay. >> Okay. Admin began looking at cameras and trying to identify this person cuz I mean obviously that's a that's a concern. The admin was able to identify the individual and so during lunch we went over there, got the individual, and was able to identify the individual as being 21 years old. I have not talked to her about any of that. My concern was getting this person off campus and that individual was arrested for trespassing on the school grounds. >> All right, so if I can get her to come in here and tell me if they were in a relationship, how do I move on to press charges for that? >> It's statutory. >> Okay. >> It does not have my approval by no means, way, shape, or form. >> Okay. >> Any other legal app legal >> ramifications >> ramifications need to be upheld in my opinion. There's no business of a 21-year-old being with a 16-year-old in no way, shape, or form. >> Okay. So, let's do that. Let's call her up and see what's see what's going on. Okay, I just want to start off with you are not in trouble. Law enforcement trouble. Okay, so let me let me let me go over what I what I know, okay? So, this is this is what I know. We received information this morning that Dakota was on campus to see you this morning at the beginning of school. Okay? And then we received information that she was going to come back and see you again during lunch. And so we were able to look at camera footage and find out who Dakota was cuz no one knew who it was, but we found out who it was and identified her during lunch. We were told that y'all you two are or in a relationship. And originally I thought I thought it was a boy cuz we kept on hearing saying some people were saying it was your boyfriend. And I mean that's really doesn't matter. The fact is this person is 21 years old. You know that, right? 21. How old are you? That's against the law to have any kind of physical contact of any any any sorts. That person is an adult. So obviously my concern here at school is someone trying to get on this campus that is not that does not belong, especially an adult. And when I talked to that adult, the adult lies to me, too. That that's a problem. And I am concerned that y'all possibly had a relationship going on that's illegal. So it's better it's best for you to tell the tell the truth because I I look at it as a predator if they're trying to get in a relationship with that younger person because you're still a child. You're you're still a minor. You're not even close to being 18. And that person is not even, you know, 18, 19, 20, 21 years old. That's a that's a pretty big difference. >> I I will be pressing all the charges against this person. Any charge that I can press against this person, I'm going to press that. And I have the right to do so and I have 110% support from your mother. >> Have you in the past been around Dakota alone? Have y'all been together at all without your father's Well, obviously he doesn't know. So have have you been around her outside of school? >> Outside of school, yes. >> Where? >> Um at the park. >> You guys never held hands? >> Mhm. Okay. Hold on. That's what we did. >> So, when when would you meet up with Dakota? >> Never. One time. Because he lives he lives like an hour away from here. And it was before school started. >> Have you ever left campus to see Dakota? Has Dakota ever been on campus besides today to see you? We're kind of going in a in a circle, but if you didn't have your phone today, how did Dakota know to come to school to see you? Other people communicating for you? >> Yeah, I guess so. >> Okay. >> But I'm I'm not like going on there texting them or saying anything to them. >> How did you come about meeting Dakota? >> One of my friend's lawyer, I don't know her last name, though. But she's a senior and she takes it. We were on a call on a group chat call and my friend was over at um Dakota's house and that's just how we met. >> Are you or are you not in a relationship with Dakota? >> Like kind of. >> What does kind of mean? >> Like not >> Not physical? >> I guess. >> So, emotionally, like you guys tell each other you love each other and you know, you talk about being together? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Okay. That's what's led to this. I will be 100% getting a restraining order on this person. You will not have contact with Dakota. >> 10-4. Just whenever you're not busy, if you can come down to attendance to talk to that parent. >> Um, I'm going to take this information and go file a restraining order. >> Who is this person? >> I I guess some person that Caitlyn's in a relationship with. I took her phone away 2 days ago cuz her grades were slipping a little bit. I said, "When your grades come up, you can have your cell phone back." >> Right. Okay. My understanding of it >> I took her cell phone away not yesterday, but the day before. This person obviously couldn't get on Instagram and FaceTime her anymore. And decided I'm going to go sneak into a school this year. >> Okay. I'm curious. Did he come up here on his own accord or did you ask him to come up here? >> I did not ask him. >> I don't know if she realizes how bad things like this can turn out. Take you in a car and they're having a bad day and then you tell them, "Hey, my dad's being mean to me and not giving me my cell phone." And she say, "Hey, let's run away." And then I find her body in another state somewhere. That's the seriousness of this. >> It does. It happens. >> I'm scared of so much. >> Yeah. Far too often. >> Yeah. >> Let's go. Come on. Car's in our parking lot. >> All right. I appreciate you coming up. Sorry about sitting you up. >> Dakota was later charged with trespassing on school property, knowingly providing false information to law enforcement. And if you want more cases like this, hit that subscribe button. >> You lied then. I wanted to know what grade you're in. You provided a law enforcement official with misleading information. Now, since you're all still children, I'm worried that you may have had an illicit connection. You're still underage. You're not nearly 18 yet. See how a high school student's typical morning unfolds on August 25th, 2023 before revealing shocking secrets. Come on over here. What's your name? What grade are you in, I wonder? I'm a senior. Are you a senior? Yes. What is your age? 19. Is your driver's license with you? No. You're not carrying a driver's license? That stuff stays at home. Come on over here. You're on campus, but why? Here at school? No, you don't attend this school, do you? Oh, okay. All I did was grab something. No, no, no, no. Here's the thing, you see. You are not permitted on campus. You are now trespassing. All right. No, no, no. There isn't anything there. Apologies. Okay. Why are you up here? One of my pals. What? Did you complete your studies here? Ali is where I received my diploma. Ali? That means you weren't even a pupil here. Are you just here? Actually, I've been here before. Are you lying then? You do realize that I asked what grade you are in? What did you say too? I was observing. They saw you. All right. Were you under the impression that we would not check? No, I didn't come up with anything right now. You provided a law enforcement official with misleading information. That's right. Additionally, you were intruding on school grounds. Are you aware of that? What is your age? 21. I'm getting old. 27. 21. Who are you visiting then? Are you visiting your girlfriend? You're not carrying your ID. You're without a wallet. You have a wallet, I know that. I witnessed it. ID. Yes, you're far too old to be present. In essence, I don't give a damn about your friends. If you're 21, they're all too young. Go take a stand for me, please. Place your hands on the wall up here. Support me. You strike. What's in it in the pocket right there? Most likely my Okay. Proceed. Get that for me. Please. Okay. You raised your hands on me once again. Yes. Okay. Okay. In addition to being a law enforcement officer, you are being detained for trespassing on school property. Does anyone live in the house? No, you're 19. 21, are you? He's 21, huh? Oh, you also lie about your age. All right. All right, proceed. Enjoy yourself. Hey, you're needed. We just made an arrest, huh? On college, he had a 21-year-old who was hanging out with his pals. We, as we previously learned, he was in town to meet up with his girlfriend. He was also present in the morning. He was allegedly near the auditorium and band room where they congregate outside. Additionally, this is his second visit to the university. I'll return it to my workplace. All right. Okay, hurry up. People will be able to notice it immediately. Wish to view one. You will now face two charges of lying to a law enforcement official rather than just one. Do you comprehend what's going on in today's world? With shootings and such, individuals bringing drugs to school, when someone who doesn't belong on campus shows up, we take it seriously, don't we? That's rather lovely. That's uh this is a really severe matter. It's not something we can ignore. Have you ever been in trouble? Indeed, sir. As an adult? Indeed, sir. It is not my intention to offend you. All right. Are you a woman by birth based on the way I look at you and then this? All right. Okay. Yes. 21-year-old visiting a pal on school property. Appeared on campus earlier this morning, it seems. Discovered that she was returning and he was with her over near the auditorium. Which is situated between the band room and the auditorium. There is a woman and she was with another woman. Indeed. Thus, I what lined how we take trespassing on school property very seriously, particularly in light of all that has happened to the other students today. She has been accusing me of giving a law enforcement officer false information since when I asked her what grade she was in, she replied that she was a senior. She then told me that she was just 19 years old and things took a turn for the worst. So, did you actually attend the school? Yes. In which year did you receive your degree? 2020. I believed you mentioned attending Elite. I visited Elite here. Graduated after a week of study. All right. On campus, somebody discovered a code. One of the administrators, since we already had a picture, one of the administrators noticed. She was captured on camera this morning, Mr. Glass, I believe. We are therefore searching for that person. And this time, she was seen by another administrator. This occurred earlier today, such as this morning. So, is that a single count or two counts? Only one. All right. Was she Miranda? Actually, I haven't. Do you want me to? Yes. The right to silence is yours. In court, anything you say can and will be used against you. Having Do you want to speak with us right now, keeping these rights in mind? Indeed, sir. That's a yes or no, right? No. All right. I had already patted her down before realizing it was a woman. Realizing it was a woman.
