Get back. >> [screaming] >> Hey sweetie. >> You see Trooper Harper? Go right to him. >> Hands on top of the car. >> May 24th, 2026. A quiet afternoon in Ouachita County, Arkansas. Just after 3:15 p.m., an Arkansas State Police Trooper attempts to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation near Camden. But instead of pulling over, the driver hits the gas. What follows is a dangerous high-speed pursuit that stretches for miles with speeds exceeding 120 mph. The fleeing driver races down rural roads, passes multiple vehicles, and repeatedly crosses into oncoming traffic, creating a deadly situation for everyone nearby. But troopers are unaware of something even more disturbing. Inside the vehicle are four young children. One of them is only 4 months old. As the pursuit continues south on Ouachita County Road 47, the danger escalates with every passing second. Then, after a lengthy chase, everything comes crashing down. The suspect loses control. The vehicle tears through a yard, strikes a utility pole, and violently overturns. What troopers discover in the moments that follow transforms this from a routine pursuit into a desperate rescue operation. A baby has been thrown from the vehicle. Live power lines hang nearby, and four children are now trapped in the aftermath of a devastating crash. This is the body cam and dash cam footage from the pursuit that led to the arrest of 28-year-old Tyrese Fletcher and the rescue of four young children whose lives were placed in extraordinary danger. >> Hey, watch those lines. They're touching the car. Get back. Get Justin, get back. >> [screaming] >> Is everybody awake? >> Yeah. Everybody say they're moving? >> I don't know where my BABY IS AT. >> I HAVE YOUR BABY. She's okay. >> Okay, thank you. >> Power lines are on fire. They're on top of the vehicle. >> Come here. Get that off your hair. Come here. You okay? Come here, buddy. >> Hey, you got to stay in the car right now. Stay in the car. Go Go Go to Trooper Harper, okay? Put your hand down. Stay inside the car. Do not come out. You see them power lines? Come in here, baby. You're okay. >> And the baby is okay? >> Yeah, you're not going. You're good, bud. >> No. >> No. You're not going, bud. >> And the baby is okay? >> Yes. Yes, she's fine. >> Oh, there's another baby? >> Yep. They can't get out. There's a baby in the car still. >> Yeah. I ain't got a key. The medic is going to come check on you in just a second. I've already looked at you. The medic is going to come check on you in just a second. We'll go from there, okay? No more being >> When the chase finally came to an end, the focus immediately shifted from enforcement to rescue. Troopers rushed toward the overturned vehicle and discovered a scene that could have ended in tragedy. A 4-month-old baby had reportedly been ejected from the vehicle and was not secured in a child safety seat. Three other children, all under 6 years old, were still inside or near the wreckage as live power lines created an additional hazard around the crash scene. Despite the severity of the incident, all four children survived and were transported to a local hospital with what authorities described as minor injuries. Investigators later reported finding a defaced firearm, illegal marijuana, and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle. The driver, identified as 28-year-old Tyrese Fletcher, was arrested and booked into the Ouachita County Detention Center. According to Arkansas State Police, Fletcher now faces a lengthy list of charges, including felony fleeing, possession of a defaced firearm, possession of a firearm by certain persons, four counts of endangering the welfare of a minor, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal mischief, reckless driving, four counts of failing to properly restrain child passengers, and multiple traffic violations. For many viewers, however, the most remarkable part of this story isn't the arrest. It's that four young children, including a 4-month-old baby, survived a crash that could have ended very differently. One decision to flee placed countless lives at risk, and the consequences of that decision will now follow long after the pursuit itself has ended. Thank you for watching.
