It was like any random day until chaos struck in Palm Coast B section. A man was randomly stabbed in broad daylight by a stranger circling the neighborhood. The swift action of Flaggler County deputies led to a quick arrest. And here's how it all unfolded. [Applause] We don't know what that you're a black with no white male curly hair just like that. Me and my boyfriend were arguing, so we weren't even walking next to each other. My boyfriend's probably about 20 yards in front of me. Dude sees me, right? And he's going this way. He stares at me and uh this happens a lot because three of the people just did it, but he's the first creek to stop. He put his thumbs up. I said, "No." Hit the U-turn right there in front of that little uh soccer park, comes back, puts his thumb up, and uh cuts through like the in between. See? Yeah. He was trying to pick me up the whole time. got some in between. My boyfriend said, "Keep it pushing. Keep it pushing." He was like, "You want to go?" You were walking. Yes, we were both walking. He was like, "You want to go?" This dude said to my boyfriend, "You want to go? You want to go?" My boyfriend said, "Keep it pushing. Keep walking. Leave her alone. Keep it pushing or I'm going to beat your ass." So, he didn't say, "Come out and fight me." He said, "If you if you get out, it's going to be a problem." Cuz he's trying to protect me. Gets out. He parked right here on Brain Bridge, walks up with a a black pocket knife. You couldn't tell it was a knife at first. He's like this. He's like, "Oh yeah, this is going to be fun." Punch, punch, punch. He gets knocked on the ground. He hits my boyfriend on the left side of his face. Okay. He whips out a knife and stabs him in the left side of his arm. It's about this high, but it's really deep. Okay. All right. But he's a [ __ ] creep. I got you. Well, we got him. Um, your license. Did you have that real quick? Yeah. Um, it's not a license. It's an ID. My license is suspended. That's fine. And it's Ohio license. Okay. Do you have anything out of Florida or No? No, I just moved here a week ago. I got you. I lost my glasses, too. She was walking down. They were walking on the street. They wanted to drive. They were walking down this way. I was going this way. I turned back around. Said something. I thought you wanted to ride or something. So I stopped. You start I know they were together. Okay. So you drove past and then you backed up. No, I just turned off. Okay. So you drove you drove past them. You turned back around and then you re-engaged them. Yeah. Were you on foot at that point or were you in the I got out and walked up to He was like, "What's going on?" He started swinging their six-year-old. Yeah. You thought I was [ __ ] with his girlfriend. I said, "I didn't know your girlfriend. I'm sorry. I'll leave him. I'm on the ground really." And when like the fourth time he pulled around, I'm like, "Hey, man. and just go ahead, you know, before we have to get into it or something. So he he pulled out, came this way, pulled down here, pulled back around, and then pulled into right outside. I was walking towards the store. I live in I live by burrow. No, he he was trying to fight me at first, so I punched him. He failed. I knocked his glasses off, which my girlfriend still has. I knocked his glasses off and when he dropped, he was trying to get up to fight me some more. So, I put him in a little choke hole and that's when he whipped out his pocketk knife and stabbed me. So, I let him go and then uh the guy that was sitting outside right there on barristister towards the the first house on the left. I don't know. Soon as soon as uh that happened, I just walked over towards him cuz he's trying he started trying to chase me. I realized my arm was bleed. I'm like, "Yo, you cut me." So, it happened like in the street or in a driveway. Okay, it happened right in the middle of the Thanks to the Flaggler County Sheriff's Office, the attacker is now behind bars on a $40,000 bond.
