Imagine walking into a police station to file your 94th complaint only to realize the police have finally had enough. This is Sharon. She thought the rules didn't apply to her and she thought the police lobby was her personal stage. But today, she's about to find out that the law doesn't negotiate with tantrums. Stay tuned because this arrest gets loud, messy, and completely unexpected. Before we see her total meltdown, I want to be real with you guys. Body Cam Pulse is a brand new channel. As I record this, we only have 33 subscribers. We're a tiny community, but we're working hard to bring you the best analysis. If you're watching this, you are one of the day ones. Please hit that subscribe button. Let's prove that a small channel can reach 1,000 subs just by keeping it real. Now, back to the chaos. Sharon wasn't here for justice. She was here for a fight. She had filed nearly a hundred complaints before this. But when the sergeant told her they wouldn't take the same paperwork over and over, she exploded. She invaded the officer's personal space, shouted over citizens, and refused every lawful order to leave. She believed that as long as she was just sitting there, she was untouchable. She was wrong. >> They are in peace when they are not in peace. Well, I have business over here. So, you need to take your hands off of my possessions and not what you have. Absolutely not. So, he has refused to come. >> You guys have been helping. >> We spoke with a sergeant. >> Are they with you? >> They are with me. >> Give me two seconds. I'll be right back. That's not true. >> WE TOOK YOUR COMPLAINT. >> NO COMPLAINTS. >> YOU'RE NOT going to keep taking the same complaint over and over again. And I explain that to you. The fact that you don't like Don't get >> Don't Don't get in his face. >> The fact that you don't like that >> you can touch my face and I can get in your personal space. You can touch my knees and I can make it in your personal space. Now you're touching me. Now let's step outside. Absolutely not. I >> You just touched him. >> I DID NOT. HE TOUCHED ME. HE TOUCHED ME. HE TOUCHED ME. >> HE HE TOUCHED ME. Stay away from him. Don't get misplaced. >> ONE OF THESE THREE COMPLAINTS THAT I HAVE TODAY IS ABOUT officer coming down here on THE 17TH AND PRETENDING TO TAKE JUICES AND PLAY OUT. I HAVE NOT in any moment before this and no moment before this have I put in a complaint ABOUT THAT. SO THAT is not a repeat. And rather THAN TAKE IT, WHICH THIS POLICY SAYS YOU MUST DO, you invalidated it and pretended that the MATERIAL I WAS SHOWING YOU DIDN'T EXIST. >> I have given you what you requested. >> Yes, Lord. Thank you very much. There's no reason I have to leave here. I CAN GET OUT MY PHONE AND SIT HERE AND READ AS MUCH AS I'D LIKE. >> YOU CAN SIT HERE AND read all day, but you can't stand here and scream. No, there are PEOPLE IN HERE. YOU CAN'T COME DOWN HERE AND REFUSE to take MY CITIZEN COMPLAINT AFFIDAVIT. THERE IS NO MARGIN FOR YOU TO REFUSE. IT DOES NOT SAY THERE ANYWHERE. >> I HAVE A COMPLAINT about Gregory lying to me all on the phone yesterday that's getting filled out right now. >> Yes, it is. >> Yes, it is. As your policy says that you won't do. And nobody told me when I called here on the 5th asking how to do it. >> It doesn't know you. You asked me to establish YOU HAVE NO RIGHT to make me leave the lobby. >> You have no right to leave make me LEAVE THE LOBBY. YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO MAKE ME LEAVE HERE. YOU HAD NO RIGHT TO TOUCH ME, WHICH YOU DID. YOU HAD NO RIGHT. YES, YOU DID. YOU TOUCHED ME. YOU CAME AT ME. >> YOU TOUCHED ME. YOU HAD NO RIGHT TO PICK MY THINGS UP AND CARRY THEM OUT THERE. YOU HAVE NO right to touch my things. >> I'm going to ask. You have no right TO TOUCH MY THINGS. LITERALLY LYING. THESE AREN'T REPEATS. I HAVE NEVER I have never complained ABOUT THAT PRETENDING. THEY PRETENDED to take juices AND COMPLAIN AFFIDAVITS. THEY PUT THE NUMBERS ON THE PAGES. They went back there and made a copy for me and then DIDN'T SIGN THEM. AND THEN SHE ALWAYS COMES down here GOING, "I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT." >> You're doing her, are you? >> Yeah. They call for 94. Just stand up. Stand up. Please stand up. >> Um, stand up. >> Nice. Put your hands behind your back. >> Oh my god. No. THIS IS NOT OKAY. THIS IS NOT OKAY. PLEASE, SOMEBODY do something about this. This is not okay. Crosby, please. This is not okay. This is not okay. This is not okay. This is not okay. THIS IS NOT OKAY. This is not okay. THIS IS NOT OKAY. PLEASE. PLEASE. PLEASE. PLEASE. I am under arrest for no reason. I am under arrest for no reason. I am under arrest for no reason. >> This is not okay. Stop. >> This is not okay. This is not okay. I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS. I cannot believe this. >> Don't kick. You're going to catch a charge. >> You want one of you arresting me? I'm one of you arresting me. I'M ONE OF YOU arresting me. I have every right to sit in this lobby. I'm feeling this is the play of OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD. Oh my god. OH MY GOD. YOU ARE HURTING ME. YOU ARE HURTING ME. >> YOU LET GO. >> WHY SHOULD I RELAX? YOU ARE YOU ARE YOU ARE BREAKING my violating my rights. You are absolutely violating my rights. You are violating my rights. I proceeded quietly. I cannot believe this. >> Why am I being arrested? >> Which foot? >> Why am I being arrested? PUT YOUR FEET DOWN. >> WHY AM I BEING ARRESTED? WHAT WAS I DOING? WHY AM I BEING ARRESTED? WHY AM I BEING ARRESTED? WHY AM I BEING ARRESTED? WHY AM I BEING ARRESTED? WHY AM I BEING ARRESTED? We establish that I am allowed to sit there quietly and fill out a forum. We establish. Why are you arresting me? You are hurting me. >> You are resisting. If you stop resisting. >> That is not true. You have no right to be arresting me. >> Do y'all need a female? >> All right, ma'am. You got anything on you that's going to hurt me? >> I don't have anything on me. >> There is no reason to be arresting me. I was sitting quietly in the lobby filling out a form. It is my right to fill out and these officers came up and arrested me. >> Told me to stand. >> What do you mean? >> TOLD ME TO STAND. TOLD ME TO STAND. And I have every right to be sitting there. >> What law was I breaking when I WAS SITTING THERE? WHAT LAW WAS I BREAKING when I WAS SITTING THERE? >> STOP. >> NO. ANSWER ME. WHAT law I was breaking? >> HEY, QUIT KICKING. >> ANSWER ME. WHAT LAW I WAS BREAKING? ANSWER ME WHAT LAW I WAS BREAKING. ANSWER ME WHAT LAW I WAS BREAKING. >> ARE you on any medication? I think this one. >> Yes, I am. >> Anything that you're going to need, too? I need some shoes cuz my feet are burning which is the reason I was doing this quite frankly. >> So that's not kicking anyone. That's because my feet are hoting. I have every right to sit in that lobby and fill in a form. >> You don't have a right to tell me to leave. Officer, you don't have a right to tell me to leave. >> You can't tell me to leave. Hello. >> Hey, Miss. >> Yes. >> Hey, how you doing? It's Officer Bates. >> Yes. >> Hey, did you get >> moderate? This is how I'm doing because that's a rhetorical question. Go ahead. >> There was a misunderstanding. All right. Your phone is not placed as evidence. It's placed for safekeeping. You are able to come retrieve your phone. >> I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm here at the sheriff's department to file some more complaints about the jail and um about your behavior at the jail and I didn't catch that cuz other people were talking. I'm sorry. Um so my there was a misunderstanding I heard. That's all I heard. >> You can come retrieve your phone. >> Okay. Sure. And the paperwork that I was asking about while you were arresting me was the one that got left behind. Also, you nearly left my sandals on the on the hood of your cars cuz you were so unconcerned about about the person who under whom you were putting under arrest unfairly. Um, so thanks so much. I will make an appointment with your evidence department and that I'm here to clear up as well. Um, I got one more thing. >> Which which officer So am I accused of having battered? What is his name? >> Commander Senife. >> Great. Thank you so much. >> Hold up. Hold up. Can I explain one more thing to you? >> Yeah, go ahead. So, you know you were issued a trespass for the Northport Police Department? >> Yes, I do. >> Okay. I went by your residence. I placed a form on your door. Okay. >> As you don't seem to understand, that is not my door. I live in an apartment around back. So, Sarah called over the >> So, listen. I left it on the door around back. The lady that was there told me exactly which door was yours. So, listen. I I actually was doing you a favor. So anytime you are trespass trespass for public property, you can appeal it. So I actually was nice enough to give you the appeal form, but for you to appeal it, you need to do it through city hall. Okay? >> You are not doing I'm already trespassed off city hall. >> Okay? But if you call me a favor, if you call city hall city hall, you can call city hall to my house. >> You can call city hall and schedule an appointment for your appeal. If you actually if you set up an appeal, you have authorized business to be there that day. >> Make that call once I have my phone back. Thank you so much for taking it from me over the weekend. That was so kind of you to do. >> You got any questions for me? >> I guess you wanted appreciation for coming to my home. Do you have any questions for me? All right. Thank you. >> When the handcuffs came out, Sharon turned into a human siren. Her catchphrase, "This is not okay." She screamed it like a broken record while physically fighting the officers. What she didn't realize is that her protest just turned a trespass into two serious felonies. Battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting with violence. The Karen Act officially reached its final form. But here is the twist you didn't see coming. 5 days later, she's back on the phone, still acting like she did nothing wrong. However, the legal system had a different plan. After a psychiatric evaluation, a judge ruled that Sharon was incompetent to stand trial. Instead of prison, she was sent to a state facility. It turns out her behavior wasn't just Karen energy. It was a total break from reality.
